We decided last minute for a pre-winter get away,contacted owner via email received a quick response and we were on our way. The condo was great, very clean and oh so comfortable.(Loved the beach decor). The weather was great, sunny and 80's during day & 60's at night. Enjoyed the beach every day & collected some beautiful shells. Drove around island at night very beautiful lit up for the christmas holidays. Local restaurant "Island Cow" (our favorite) had santa's sleigh being pulled by a group of dolphins. We tell everyone about Sanibel and would definitely recommend you to stay here,Villa Sanibel 1b. Thanks again for a great vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

There is nothing like Sanibel Island, and that's why we chose to spend our honeymoon at Villa Sanibel in October 2011. There are several amenities at this condo including: easy parking access; small condo community and therefore very quiet and clean; tennis courts; a beautiful, clean pool with grills that are almost always available to use; an outdoor patio with fun decor, Comcast cable (free movies and DVR for rainy afternoons, if there are any!); a washer/dryer to return home with clean clothes; and VERY easy access to the beach -- just count to ten, and you're there! The area is great because it's centrally located - just close enough to get to Capitva for a beautiful sunset and very close to the grocery store, a fun sports bar, and the outdoor mall. Lastly, lots of condos in the area require stairs/elevators, but this is a ground-level unit, which is helpful. It'll be hard to beat this price, location, practically private beach, and clean, family-friendly pool on Sanibel Island!Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
