Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom condo located between The King and Prince and The Village. Right across the street from the beach at 1st Street and Beachview Drive, the beach is just steps away! Outdoor storage closet containing bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, charcoal grill, coolers and beach toys for your convenience.
The first level of the condo contains the entry way, half bath, kitchen, dining and living area and access to the patio out back. The sofa is a very comfortable pull out queen bed. A tv with cable and both vcr and dvd player is located in the entertainment center. A stereo system is also in the entertainment center. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king bed and full bath bathroom. A second bedroom with a queen bed and full bath bathroom is located on the second floor as well. Both bedrooms contain a tv with cable and a dvd player. The closet with a full size washer and dryer is conveniently located on the second floor with the bedrooms. On the third level is a private deck, perfect for sunbathing or enjoying coffee or cocktails. Our unit is and end unit and provides extra privacy.
St. Simons is an easy 5 hour drive from Atlanta. If you prefer to fly, Delta flies into Brunswick, GA, a quick 20 minute drive. All major airlines fly into either Jacksonville, FL or Savannah, GA, both about an hours drive.
For those who have never been to St. Simons, it is the most peaceful beach destination there is. It is not commercialized, and very relaxing. Historic sites, village shopping, a lighthouse, fishing from the pier for fishermen and site seers alike, and many restaurants all within walking distance of our condo. A brand new water park with minature golf is located right in 'The Village'. There are several beautiful public and private golf courses on the island. For those who want to enjoy the ocean acitivities or intercoastal waterway; swimming, boating, charter fishing and kayaking are all near by. If you prefer the night life there are several pubs and bars filled with locals and tourists alike. Always entertaining!

Thanks for allowing us to use your vacation home on St. Simons Island! It exceeded our expectations and we had a great time! The property was clean and the owner was extremely easy to work with on the rental! Southern Soul and Crab Daddy's are a must for great food! We enjoyed using the bikes and riding around sightseeing on the island! We would definately stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We were visiting the area to see my daughter. The location of the townhome was very convenient to restaurants/beach. The owner was flexible in our arrival and departure time as there was no one checking out before us or checking in after us. The furnishings in the home were nice. There were also several other amenities provided (i.e. bikes, chairs, etc) that were great. The interior of the home such as the walls, wallpaper are in need of some repair as they are showing wear. Water stains on the ceiling were apparent on each floor of the unit. I also saw quite a few palmetto bugs in the home as we from the south like to call them. I don't miss these! After dinner on Saturday night and a walk in the village we returned to the condo to 85 degree temp in the house. The A/C was broken and made for a miserable night of no sleep for anyone. Obviously this eliminated our extended stay on Sunday plans. With some basic maintenance this could be a really great place. I sent the owner and email notifying her about the A/C issue, but she did not respond in any way (i.e. apology).Owner response: We are pleased to hear the positive responses from the guest who stayed the weekend at our beach home. We do our best to accommodate our guests in every possible way. In response to the issues brought up: 1. We are aware of some "pulling back" of the wallpaper in the master bath, inside the shower area, and have contacted a repairman. 2. We are aware of the water stains on the ceiling. These are a result of a leak that fell under our condo associations responsibility and have been scheduled for repair. The guest had no way of knowing about either #1 or #2. 3. We don't care for palmetto bugs either. We do have an exterminator who treats all units in our complex regularly. I contacted our property manager, and she assured me our unit had been recently treated. 4. I did not receive an email regarding the A/C. In a situation like this we would really appreciate a phone call. Had I been notified Saturday evening, or even Sunday morning, I would have had a repairman out there immediately. I am terribly sorry about the A/C situation but I can't offer any assistance if I don't know there is a problem. The lady who cleans for us assured us when she cleaned the following day there was no problem with the A/C, as it was on 71 when she arrived. I regret the missed opportunity to completely satisfy this guest. I am grateful for the honest feedback as it helps to ensure we address any issues so our future guests will have the most comfortable and pleasurable stay.

We had an awesome vacation! The condo was great and we had everything we needed and then some. We really enjoyed the island....we did the Ghost Tour, did a little shopping, spent a day in Savannah, several days at the beach, went in search of the Tree Spirits on the island (we found about 10) and did some fine eating! This home was great. Very comfortable. Had everything you needed and more. Just a few steps to the beach. Great restaurants and shopping. The owner was wonderful to work with. All you need to bring is your clothes, everything else is there for you. Can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
