  This house is perfect. The beach was quiet and beautiful, the home had everything you would need for a family vacation. We have little boys and we had plenty of room, nice beds, tvs in everyroom, a wonderful back sun porch and owner is nice and very professional. Fort Morgan is a small drive from anything (grocery, resturants) but we like it that way-we don't want to be crowded on a vacation! We will be renting this again!

  Our family of seven recently spent a week at Seaside Retreat. The owners have gone out of their way to ensure a pleasurable trip at the beach. The house is very well stocked with bicycles, a wagon, beach toys, beach chairs, and a golf cart. The kitchen is very well stocked as well. We didn't feel as though we were in a rental; we felt as if we were staying at a friends' home for the week. The neighborhood is very quiet. With the subdivision being adjacent to a national wildlife refuge, the beach is less crowded than what you find anywhere else in the area. If you are looking for a quiet vacation, this is your ticket.

  This experience was more than lovely. We had two families and there was plenty of space. Wonderful neighborhood and excellent location in Martinique! Had a couple of issues with A/C and minor appliances, but owner answered every call we made and had the issues addressed promptly. The beach was clean and uncrowded. Don't feel that you need to rent the beach chairs and umbrellas from the service that isn't associated with the property - those chairs are too far from the water and The owner provides beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon to transport everything. Honestly couldn't have asked for more. We will hopefully be back!!!!

  Our stay at Lavina's Seaside Retreat couldn't have been more pleasant. From our initial contact with her to follow-ups after our stay -- everything was just perfect. She literally responds to any question you may have within minutes. Her home is well equipped with EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you could possibly need -- a fully stocked kitchen, grill, beach towels, umbrella, chairs, bikes, toys, wagon, golf cart, etc. The home is immaculate and extremely comfortable (which, unfortunately, is often NOT the case with rental homes!) The location is highly desirable within the Martinique community with the pool and beach access just across the parking lot (although we chose to load up the wagon everyday and we pulled it via the golf cart!) Favorite activities for the kids included boogie boarding, golf cart rides and crab hunting at sundown. We headed out several times to eat and enjoyed our dining experiences at LuLu's (family friendly) and Nolan's (upscale/fine dining...EXCELLENT!) We will not soon forget this perfect vacation and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seaside Retreat to anyone. Our son was sobbing as we pulled away to head back home....that's a sure sign of a fabulous vacation! We can't wait to come back!

  We shared this home with our son's family of a 4 yr old and 2 mos. old. Great experience. The house is very comfortable, clean and fully equipped. Wi-fi was easy to access, beds/mattresses were very comfortable (not our experience at other beach houses), and we were stocked with more linens/towels than I could have imagined. The golf cart was a huge help -- and a recreation in the evening. The pool facility is gorgeous - well maintained - and offers shade for those who desire it. Our early May vacation was quiet - beach very private. Our daughter's family of 7 rented a condo just across from this house, so we had family time but weren't cramped with 3 families in one home. Twice we ate at a restaurant recommended by owner, Mikee's Seafood. Superb fresh seafood in a "down home" feeing setting. 1 lb. of grilled shrimp was only $11.50 before 3pm -- delicious. If we return to Gulf Shores, we will return to Seaside Retreat.

  A WONDERFUL VACATION WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THE COMMUNITY IS GREAT THE HOME "SEASIDE RETREAT" HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE A GREAT TIME WITH THE FAMILY. MY OLDEST SON ENJOYED DRIVING EVERYONE AROUND IN THE GOLF CART. THE BEASCH HAS SUGAR SAND AND IS JUST A SHORT WALK AWAY. WE ENJOYED THE POOLS AND TENNIS COURTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME FOR YOUR NEXT VACATION WITHTHE FAMILY TO THE GULF SHORES AREA. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

  We had such a great time. The house is lovely, convenient, and fully stocked. The location of the house within Martinique is absolutely the best. We hope to go back next summer. (--thanks for the decorating tips, as well--beautiful house)

  Our family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home - clean, spacious and so close to the beach! They provided a kitchen with all the cooking supplies and utensils you could need, bikes, tennis rackets, beach chairs, comfortable beds, great screened-in porch.... The owner made renting this property a breeze - so easy to work with and so accommodating! We loved it and hope to return!

  What a wonderful place! The home was beautiful and clean. Surroundings were excellent. Very family friendly. We are a family with 5 children, mostly teens. The home looked better than you see in pics. Nicely decorated and plenty of room for all of us. Definitely exceeded expectations with easy access to private beach. Not crowded! The whole community was nicely landscaped. Lavina was very nice and the owners have chairs, umbrellas and towels as well as a golf cart if you feel like driving around and looking at the beautiful homes in subdivision. If you are looking for a nice beach vacation, this one is pretty awesome!

  I have for the past several years gotten to rent this lovely home. Everytime my family and I know we are going to Gulf Shore/Fort Morgan - we get overly exicited to know where we want to stay. This home is furnished with your everyday needs (your home away from home). This home is not far for you to enjoy the nighlife of Gulf Shores (shops and eateries). It is just right - for those enjoyable moments of sunsets with your loved ones, bike rides and mostly "R and R" (rest and relaxation) of everyday life! I totally reccommed this home to anyone who wants a pleasurable vacation.
