My family of four sons and their wives and children select a cabin every year for an annual reunion and we've done so for 10 straight years. This is the finest. Beautiful spacious home with excellent accomodations. The kitchen, eating, and visiting areas are superb. It is the whole package. Every part of it was excellent. Secluded gorgeous setting. .Our immediate family of 20 stayed three days and nights and everybody had a place to sleep. The bunk room with room for eight of the children was impressive. It was quiet and peaceful. We have stayed at other venues over the years but this tops the list by acclimation. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Entire extended family, thirty-three of us, enjoyed our stay at the beautiful cabin! Plenty of room inside, with lots of bedrooms & bathrooms. Kitchen was fantastic and well stocked. You can see wildlife from the deck and the path behind the cabin is great for kids. Owners are great to work with. Our family loved it! Hope to go again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This home was perfect for my husband's 50th birthday party. We had 6 couples, 6 teens, 3 children and 2 infants. Everyone had a bed and privacy and plenty of bathrooms to be comfortable. We put the 6 teens in the separate cabin and they had a great time there. The main floor is perfect for eating and gathering. There are 2 separate sitting areas for visiting and lots of tables and chairs for eating and playing cards/games. The deck is great for cooking out. We loved the layout and the decor. Everything looks new and in great shape, very clean. The kitchen is gorgeous with a handy walk in pantry area for storing all the stuff we brought. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and easy to work with. We hope to stay there again sometime in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway.

Cottage By The Stream Rental Rules 1. Smoking is NOT allowed. 2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. No weddings, Receptions, graduations, fraternity/sorority parties or similar events are allowed. 3. The property is privately owned; the Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order 5. Only use appliances for their intended uses. Telephone is available for reasonable use. Long Distance phone charges may be billed to you. The phone number for the cabin is 1-435-783-7448 6. Pets are NOT allowed. 7. PARKING – Parking is limited to 10 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Additional parking is also available to the east near the older cabin. 8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the Property. 9. Fireplace: There are two fireplaces in the cabin. The first is located closest to the main door and is an enclosed non-vented propane gas log firebox. The second fireplace is in the living area towards the back of the cabin on the main living level. The room is vaulted with leather couches. This is also a gas log fireplace, however it is an open box type. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in to the fireplace. WARNING - PLEASE MAKE SURE THE VENT IS OPEN BEFORE STARTING THIS FIRE PLACE. The Vent is operated by pulling down on the lever located inside the fireplace box, above the artificial log. 10. Water and Septic: The cabin/property is on well and septic systems. The mineral content in the water is high. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages for the repair thereof. 11. Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to weather or road conditions. 12. Instructions When You Depart a. Garbage. Guest will empty all trash receptacles and haul away all garbage when departing. If needed, there is a small garbage dump with dumpsters one mile up (east) the Weber Canyon road. To avoid attracting unwanted wild animals, Renter shall avoid placing trash outside the cabin during their stay. b. Inside the Cabin. i. Please take the sheets off the beds and leave the beds unmade. Leave the used sheets on the floor in each room. ii. Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and leave the cabin in relatively good order. iii. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE LOCKED WHEN YOU LEAVE. c. Return of the Key. About the owner: This beautiful mountain retreat is owned by 5 couples who are the best of friends, and have been for over 20 Years. We built the cabin in 2006 and have been enjoying it with our families ever since. We all have families ranging in age from 12 to 75 years old. That does not include grand kids who are also excited to come to the cabin every chance they get. Our families have been strengthened as we spend time together playing games, hiking and enjoying this mountain setting. We welcome you and hope that you too will fall in love with this serene and spectacular retreat.
Why the Owner Chose Oakley:
We built in this location because of it's beauty, and the peace and tranquility we experience each time we arrive. It has year round access, and the county road is well maintained making winter access possible as well. We have deer, moose and other wildlife that are frequently within close proximity to the cabin. The views are spectacular.
