When we stepped inside, this comfortable vacation spot was exactly as we expected. The description and photos painted an accurate picture. Everything in the home was in working order, and during our week stay we made use of many of the amenities. We were delighted to find that the spring training baseball games at the Charlotte Sports Park are only ten minutes away. We saw two games in Port Charlotte during our stay. This was a convenient place to stay and travel by car to Ft. Myers, Bradenton, Punta Gorda and the beaches near Venice. The Charlotte Park was also an enjoyable beach and only ten minutes away. Be sure to take a hair dryer, that was the only item that I found I wished was there. We felt at home and comfortable enjoying the back patio, watching t.v. enjoying our morning coffee, and doing a quick load of laundry mid-week. We also found RK's Cafe a bit north on Toledo Blade Road to have great breakfast for the morning we ate out. We will definitely recommend this as a relaxing option to friends and family, especially couples like us looking for the conveniences of home, with access to the vacation spots of the area. Glad to share this feedback.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

We needed a last minute house to rent in Port Charlotte when my father passed away, and this was great! The owners were very helpful, and the house was neat, comfortable and cute! The owners have obviously done some very tasteful renovations! The house is freshly painted, the kitchen has been remodeled, and the house is a comfortable vacation place. Fish in the canal, BBQ, relax!! About 10 minutes to restaurant and groceries! Or 10 minutes to Port Charlotte Beach Complex with beach, swimming pool, tennis, horseshoe pit and boat launch.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
