Open great room with 26 ft. ceilings, fireplace, huge dining table (seats 10-12), 11 ft. granite kitchen island, floor-to-ceiling windows, spectacular views of slopes and valley.
Each of four main bedrooms is set up with a king bed, its own bath, and satellite TV. Two bedrooms also have large desks and a third is adjacent to an office loft with a large desk. One of the bedrooms includes a vestibule with two additional twin beds.
The main level includes the great room, powder room, a bedroom, and a large mud room connecting to the garage. A large sheltered terrace spans the front of the main level.
The lower level includes a family room with 60' TV, gas fireplace, bar, and refrigerator, plus two bedrooms with king beds and baths. A large sectional sofa easily accommodates two teenagers. The lower patio and hot tub are off of the family room.
The upper level includes king bed, master bath with corner soaking tub, fireplace, and cozy seating area. A loft overlooks the great room and includes a fold-down double bed and an expansive desk. The master suite also features a covered deck with views to the slopes and the valley below.

Getting to the house from SLC: The airport is 35 minutes away via I-80. The house is 3 miles from the exit off the interstate, about equidistant between the freeway and Old Town Park City.
Getting to the slopes: Our 5-home subdivision is across Red Pine Rd. from a groomed Canyons ski trail. You walk across Red Pine Rd., put your skiis on and ski down to the Sunrise Lift, which services The Hyatt Escala and our subdivision. The other two resorts in Park City are a few minutes away by car. Most of the other major Utah resorts are less than an hour away.

About the owner: We are university professors from Philadelphia and spend much of our summer in Park City. Our two sons are avid snowboarders and get us out to our house at the Canyons as much as possible in the winter, too.
