  We had three young families say over Martin Luther King weekend and it was perfect! Very clean, spacious and comfortable furnishings. There is a hill perfect for sledding right in the backyard, we could see the children playing from the kitchen table. Kitchen is well stocked, bed were comfortable and the ping pong table was lots of fun! We can't wait until we come back next year!

  We had a wonderful time my husband and I and our three children met our parents, my sister and brother inlaw and their grown son from Oregon. We are from San Diego so it was a nice place to meet to see our family. The home was better than the pictures, just beautiful! Spacious with 5 bedrooms, huge modern kitchen with all the amenities. We drove four cars and our snow mobiles which accomadated all our parking needs. We drove up to the Shaver with our snow mobiles and enjoyed the beauty of the trees and all the fresh snow. We drove up to China Peak and are anticiating returning to go water skiing this Summer. The kids and adults enjoyed the fuse ball and ping bong table, plus there was plenty of tables to play board games and cards. The kitchen was so clean and beautiful with gorgeous granite. All the cooks fit in the kitchen to help cook and serve. The home is very open from the kitchen to the living/familyroom with a wonder fireplace. What we really appreciated was that the bedrooms were large and private and not to close together. The master bathroom has a wonderful jacuzzi tub. The pictures on line do not do the property justice the woodwork was gorgeous and the home was spotless. We would highly recommend this home for anyone that wants a five star place to stay. The owners were graciuos and answered any questions we had promptly. We can't wait to go back this Summer.

  If you are looking for a vacation rental that has all of the luxuries of home, look no further. The location was perfect, the decor was in impeccable taste, and the owners are extremely accomodating with a refreshing approach to customer service that is often lost in today's marketplace. We spent 3 nights at this lovely home. It has room for everyone! With 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms and more than ample seating for dining in various areas, the whole place is tailor made for large groups or family reunions. We are already planning our next trip and will most definitely be recommending this house to anyone who is looking for a show quality home in Shaver! Thanks Greg!!!

  My family and I had a wonderful stay in Shaver Lake. The cabin was much more beautiful than expected. Everything from the brand new ping pong table, to the pots and pans, this place had it all. Only a few minute drive to the lake, and a gorgeous surrounding. Thank you guys for allowing my family the oppurtunity to further our good memories in your home...see you next year!

  As you look through the VRBO website it is sometimes hard to get the feel of a home, however the pictures, description and reviews were right on about this amazing home. Not only was the property in a beautiful location the home was clean, comfortable and roomy just as described in the website. We celebrated my sister’s 50th birthday party and there was enough room for everyone to sleep, all the activities, plus an area for a game of cards or a movie for the kids. The best memory for our family was sledding down the snow covered hill in the back, forever we will remember our parents sitting in the breakfast area looking out the windows holding the grand babies just enjoying the activities. Last but not least the owners were wonderful to work with, from the first contact to the last email the owners were so helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be renting this home again!!

  We had a wonderful Christmas at this house. There was allot of room for our family of 10. We prepared all of our meals and had plenty of space with the large island in the kitchen. We would come back again in the future.

  The home is as represented. It was clean and in good repair. For our family of eight adults and three children, it was just perfect. The kitchen was very roomy. Just right for our four gals to work and sometimes sing and dance. The water pressure was a bit low at the sink. We were really pleased with the layout of the great room. The furnishings are first class. The house sits somewhat above the road providing views into the trees. The abillity to climb stairs is a must. The owner is very good to work with. I can see us using this home again. At this time Shaver Lake is drained for dam repairs. If you plan on boating, check on the lake level. We did not eat at any local restaurants.

  We started our search for a larger house a little later than we should have this summer. We had 4 families that totaled 14 people. After finding this home to be available I contacted the owner to discuss details. I found him to be one of the easiest and most thorough owners I have dealt with on VRBO. Any questions or concerns were addressed quickly and completely. Walking into the home, it is just as described. Very nice kitchen and living area. Plenty of seating and places for large or small groups to eat, play board or card games...etc. All furnishings were top of the line. 14 people seemed to be the max (as far as beds) but the home is large enough to accommodate more. We really felt like we were a guest in a home. A nice note and personalized welcome really made us feel like the owners cared that we enjoyed their home. They had everything we could have needed/wanted available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to anyone. I hope we get the opportunity to stay there again.

  What a great way to start the summer in this very comfortable home. We spent every day at the lake on our boat and then ended up renting wave runners a few days. Two families and ours made a group of 15, spent the week at this very spacious home and the best part about it was everyone had a place to have a private getaway when needed. The family room & formal dining room was big enough for all families to sit around and play games and watch TV. We spent most of the time sitting out on the decks relaxing and taking in all of the scenery. We also had plenty of room for parking for the 5 cars and boat either in the driveway or the large garage. I wish we could say we cooked a lot in the kitchen but we went to dinner 4 out of the 6 nights we were at Shaver, the Pizza place was a hit with my family and friends in fact we had pizza twice. Everything that is mentioned on the site is true, this home is Amazing and is decorated with top of the line furnishings. We made such wonderful memories in this home and can't wait to come back for more! Lisa from Carmel Calif

  My family has stayed at this home for our annual ski trip and recently stayed over Memorial weekend. I must say this is by far the nicest vacation home we have ever stayed in. My sisters family and mine made a party of 14 and we all had beds to sleep in! This very spacious home has very comfortable beds, the furnishings look like a model home. The huge chef like kitchen is to die for, much better than my kitchen at home. Plenty of dishes and cookware, unlike some of the other rentals we have used in the past. We loved the big screen tv that the owner purchased after a recommendation we made during our winter trip. If you like to be close to China Peak and the Lake, this is the home for you. This home also had a lots of patio furniture that was super comfy. The owners were very nice and easy to work with!
