The beautiful, four bedroom, vacation home is located six minutes north of Harbor Springs, Michigan. This unique Round House has a semi-circular great room with a large conversation pit in front of the fireplace. The great room, with its cathedral ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling windows provide a scenic view of the surrounding woods and is the focus for leisure activities.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor: a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, vanity area, and full bathroom, and a second bedroom with a king-size bed. There is an additional bathroom in the hallway next to the second bedroom.
A spiral staircase leads to the second level, which overlooks the great room. Upstairs are two bedrooms with a shared full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. A pool table is set up in the finished basement.
Wireless Internet access is available at the Clubhouse.
During the Winter, the nearby Clubhouse dining facilities are open only on weekends for dinner. Other options include: * Cross-country skiers can enjoy trails set up on the Birchwood Golf Course or at Boyne Highlands. * Excellent downhill skiing is available at nearby Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain, and Nub's Nob. * Ice-skating is available in Harbor Springs at the local playground on M-119 on the east side of town.
Available facilities for Summer Activities are: * Eighteen hole and nine hole championship golf course. * Six tennis courts. * An outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool. * An outdoor snack bar. * A clubhouse with informal dining for lunch and formal dining in the evening in the recently remodeled Clubhouse. Thornswift, a local nature center, is only a mile away with wooded paths and a boardwalk down to a beautiful, private sandy beach. Petoskey State Park is in nearby Petoskey and has a large beach/picnic area. Many water sports are popular and area businesses rent equipment.
There are also many fine restaurants and unique shops in Harbor Springs and nearby Petoskey and Bay Harbor Marina District, located on Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan. Mackinaw City is just 30 miles north. Ferries leave around the clock for Mackinac Island. There are many things to do for fun year round in beautiful Northern Michigan! |
