Murrells Inlet is a quaint historic fishing village known as the “Seafood Capitol of South Carolina,” located south of Myrtle Beach along a beautiful saltwater estuary.
The Inlet has something for everyone. Just minutes away. Activities include the Veterans Pier with fishing, deep sea fishing tours, boat tours, walks along the Marshwalk, casual to upscale dining; you’ll find a delightful selection of excellent restaurants along the Marsh Walk with live music and dancing. Bike rides along the Waccamaw Neck Bike Trail or perhaps Huntington Beach State Park, home to an undeveloped beach, hiking trails, campsites, a nature center, and marshland. Huntington has a real stone castle also known as Atalaya, the Morrish style winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Enjoy a relaxing stroll under the mossy live oaks at Brookgreen Gardens. Brookgreen is the largest outdoor sculpture garden in the world and a perfect spot for a picnic.
Pawleys Island is a 10 minute drive away. Historic Georgetown is a 20 minute drive south. Myrtle Beach is 15 minutes to the north with boundless shopping opportunities, Magic Kingdom Amusement Park, Wild Water & Wheels Water Park, Broadway at the Beach, Market Commons, Myrtle Beach International Airport and much more.
If you're a golfer, chances are that you know of the fabulous selection of approximately 100 championship courses located along South Carolina's Grand Strand, many of them within 10 minutes of Murrells Inlet.

House was very clean and just as shown in the pictures. However, we were surprised to find the screen door to the rear deck off the track, and the patio door very hard to open due to corrosion in the tracks. Also, the front screen door needs a new hydraulic pump to stop it from slamming shut. This is not meant as criticism but just to point out the few deficiencies that prevented an "excelloent" rating. We would have no reservations in staying here again. Easy access and proximity to restaurants were definmitely favorable aspectsRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a very nice home to stay in. It was perfectly situated for us. Neighborhood was quiet, and safe for the kids to run back and forth to the pool. Close to activities, groceries, etc. Plenty of room for us (2 adults, and 3 kids - 7 yrs, 14 yrs, and 16 yrs old) Beds were comfortable, and had all the basics of home! I would recommend this to any family/couple that doesn't want to be right in the middle of all of the action but wants to be close to it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
