  My wife and I rented this cabin for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. It is in a great location - right on the beach. We enjoyed walking on the beach, kayaking, and appreciating the view of the Sound. This cabin's location on a car-free section of beach made it uniquely remote. It was also easy for us to drive into Langley and check out some restaurants. Everything was as advertised on the website. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Additionally, we had a mixup over the the dates we were arriving and Susan was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

• Restful and Relaxing!

  We stayed 5 nights and had an extremely restful and relaxing time. The house is very comfortable and the area is peaceful and beautiful. Directions for the house and all the amenities (including Wi-fi) were clear and easy to use. House is well stocked and having kayaks and crab pots was wonderful. It is a great community with helpful neighbors and other travelers, the kids had a wonderful time. The golf cart was fun to ride from the parking lot and made the stay more enjoyable to not have the car right there. We had such fun crabbing and clamming we didn't explore more of the island, except Fort Casey, but it looked like lots of fun stuff to do. Sturdy shoes are needed for the beach but you can walk for a long ways and see interesting sea life, the kids loved it. We are looking forward to returning!

  This place was such a great find! Little did I know that not only were we getting a great view and beach, but that there was a wonderful community of people without any cars! You park in the parking lot and then take their golf cart to the cabin. Lots of friendly folks (very kid and pet friendly) in the community. Rooms were small, but comfortable. Bathroom was small, but functional (good water pressure). I slept on the couch and watched the sun come up over the water - beautiful! We'll be back!

  We rent a house or cabin every year for our week with the grandkids and this was one of the best in location (right on the beach), comfortable (great home with all the right amenities), and clean. The views are fantastic and we didn't have to worry about the children as cars are parked in a common parking lot and access is by way of golf cart on a concrete path. The neighbors were also very friendly which is so nice when you have young kids. We hope to make it our yearly summer retreat.

  We stayed for a long weekend with our two preteen boys. Caught huge amounts of crab and ate them for breakfast lunch and dinner! The place has a simple fresh feel, and was very comfortable for us all. The owner was very attentive and motivated to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a great time!

  What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the waterfront - and our anniversary. The house was even nicer than the photos and was very well equipped. The beach is wonderful for long walks - as long as it's not high tide. We clammed out front and made a wonderful dinner. And we kayaked using one of the double sit-on-top kayaks - it was nice even on a gray October day. The golf cart was a fun way to bring the luggage there and back but it's a pleasant,easy walk to the parking lot. The house was cozy, even in the cool weather, and the flannel sheets on the (very comfortable) bed were a nice touch. Susan was very helpful and generous about allowing some extra time since there was no one else arriving right away. We're already talking about another visit.

  What a terrific weekend getaway for urbanites looking to escape the weekly grind. Travel time I-5 gridlock to gently winding country roads and the beautiful waterfront is only about an hour - when ferry traffic is light. Cottage is located in a friendly and welcoming waterfront community. The place was spotless and fully outfitted, offering everything we could possibly need for 2 1/2 days. Wi-fi was swift and EZ to set up. Great views, day and night. Centerpiece of the house is a large wooden table, big enough for a jigsaw puzzle at one end and a grilled steak meal at the other. We were there in October but dream of returning for a longer stay in summer!

  We came here for a weekend getaway from Seattle in early October and loved every minute of our stay. It was a quick trip to get here from the city -- with Friday night ferry traffic, it still took less than 2-hours. The house is so clean and stocked with everything that we needed. We've stayed in vacation rentals before and I never want to take my shoes off (just too icky!), but this really felt like home -- so clean and comfy. We have three young kids (ages 7 and under) and this was the ideal house and space. No stairs in the house for our new walker. The older girls loved the bunkbeds and there was a portable crib for our baby and highchair, which was awesome for packing. Our girls could play in the front grass and explore the beach right in front of the house while we sat on the porch and overlooked where they were playing -- PERFECT! The kids also loved the paved path that went along the beach -- they rode scooters up and down a thousand times. We booked our next trip the minute we got home and will continue to come up to the cabin as much as we can -- thank you for a great place to make some family memories!

  My family and I stayed here for two nights. Wonderful, clean and comfortable house with great views and friendly neighbors. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Plenty of room for the kids to run around and play outside. We really enjoyed the kayaks and just relaxing on the large open porch. The owner was very friendly and helpful in making all the arrangements. We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend this place!

  We loved our time at this special cabin! Our family of four with two boys ages 5 and 8 absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The owners allowed us to use their kayaks, their scooters, and any other toys my boys could find. And they loved it all! They rode bikes and scooters up and down the path every day and we took many kayak trips during our week there. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. The neighbors and community are wonderful and the golf cart system makes it all very unique. We would love to come back in the winter and enjoy an indoor fire, but for a summer vacation it can't be beat! We will be back!
