Let me start off by saying that this property is gorgeous. The pictures of the property are spot on and an accurate depiction of the cabin. There is also a video of it on Youtube under "Snugglin Inn" that you can watch and also get a look around. We were in awe at the size of this property. The interior of the cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. We had three families staying at the Snugglin Inn, and never once did we feel crowded or cramped. The three bedroom suites fit our needs beautifully. The living room furniture was very comfortable, and it should be noted that the owner has put in a new flat screen TV above the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and dinnerware, and there is plenty of room for several people to be in there at the same time. The bedrooms are also roomy and comfortable. The game room upstairs has a pool table and shuffle board table, which my son and husband loved. This cabin is far enough from town to feel like you're out in the country, yet close enough to everything that you don't feel like you're spending all your time riding in the car getting to different places. I really recommend driving around a little bit to get yourself oriented. The GPS doesn't always give you the best directions, usually just the shortest. We found that driving a little bit farther on a main road cut out the curvy, windy roads that the GPS wanted us to follow, and also found that the travel times were relatively close both ways. You will never get bored. There is so much to see and do in this area. Remember though, this is the country. You will have raccoons that get in or attempt to get in the trash. The homeowners have put bungee cords on the tops of the trash can lids in an attempt to thwart them, but they can be pretty determined. Our son even saw a bear as they were leaving the property, which was pretty exciting for them. As for the owners, they were wonderful. Karen was great about answering any questions I had and sent clear and precise information for our arrival at the property. All in all, this was a wonderful vacation, and we can't wait to return.

My family visited Pigeon Forge for the 2013 Shades of the Past car show. We had a wonderful stay at Karen's cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained. If we had any questions Karen was only a email away. We had a family of raccoon's visit us on our last night which really excited my kids. I think that was one of their best memories and watching my husband run them off was one of mine. My family would definitely stay in cabin again.

Owner response: Thank you for the great review! I am so sorry about the racoon's. I guess its better than the bears. I am sure the kids would have enjoyed that also.Glad you enjoyed your vacation and I certainly try to exceed your expectations. Love for you to visit again! Paul and Karen
Well we just spent our 40th wedding anniversary with our kids in the most amazing cabin. As we were arriving in the late evening, Karen gave us perfect directions to get to the cabin. We loved the large living area where we could all sit together, talk, watch TV, or play games. Loved that the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Enjoyed the loft area where we could play a variety of games. Thankful that the cabin had a gas grill and a charcoal one as well. After two days of exploring, it was really nice to come back to the cabin, grill our dinner, relax in the hot tub, and play board games. Thank you Karen and Paul. Next time, we would like to stay longer!!

Not only was the cabin beautiful, the owners were extremely nice and helpful. The smell of the wood welcomes you to this huge cabin as the logs throughout make this a perfect family spot. The pool table and shuffleboard upstairs really makes alot of fun for kids and adults. When you price a hotel room in town with all the traffic and noise this place is a dream. Easy access to all cities so a quick drive is near everything. Thnaks for your cabin.

Wonderful relaxing cabin
Wonderful relaxing cabin
I have to say, this was a wonderful way to spend the Holiday Weekend. Away from the crowds and the only sounds were the crickets and the whippoorwills. The accommodations were just as nice, if not better than the pictures. Plenty of room, everything we needed for staying in and cooking our own meals. The only problem was a pesky raccoon that kept climbing up on the hot tub deck.... We ran her off a few times. But, hey, when in the mountains, you have to expect to see some of the critters that live there. She just made the stay that much more memorable. One of the other reviewers stated that they did not have cell service, and the other couple in our party did not either. (AT&T) We have Verizon and they were borrowing our phones to make calls. So if you want a true get-away, and don't have Verizon, this is a plus! Karen, thank you for all the directions, and taking my calls so late when we thought we missed a turn on the mountain. We look forward to coming back!

Owner response: Thank you Kathy, I love to hear that our guest enjoy their stay. As Homeowners we are glad when people come to the mountains and we can provide them with the comforts of home. Kathy please come visit us again. As far as the little pest raccoon, it is definately the mountains and we have an abundance of wildlife including bears. Beautiful nature! Till next time..... Good relaxing cabin
Good relaxing cabin
Overall I'd like to give this cabin 4stars, but can't yet. The good: excellent great room/ kitchen set-up. Perfect for spending time with the family without walls separating areas. It's a large area. Great deck with hot tub. Spacious and comfortable beds. Areas that could be improved: cleanliness. The refrigerator was bad. The shelves were very dirty we had to get disinfectant wipes for the fridge and waste can. One bathroom had no blinds or curtains over the toilet. With neighbors higher up the hill it was a little getting used to. One set of bedroom sheets were full of hair and didn't look like they were changed in between guests. The shuffleboard really wasn't useable. Table is warped, no corn starch, puck didn't slide. Tv's were old school tubes. My biggest issue was the map were this cabin is 'supposedly' located. It is NOT anywhere near the marking. Its a hike away. Its mis-leading to think you are going to be around the corner from Dollyland based on the map here only to secure the rental and get the address to Google it and surprise its far off. Now its not fair to compare our usual location that we have been staying at for years to this cabin, but we have a bar set. This cabin can be our 'cabin home' if the minor things can be corrected. Cleanliness is a key. We shouldn't have to clean and wash sheets when we arrive. We will keep this cabin on our list of possibilities when we look at returning to the mountains again. The great room is perfect for our entertaining needs. We have been staying at another cabin, our usual location, so its somewhat not favor to compare.

Owner response: To our guest, let m say how surprised I was to see this. I had spoken to you quite a few times and you were aware of the location. You described different areas and knew we were 15 mins. to Dollywood. The televisions were also discussed and you asked if there were any game systems. I had mentioned that we had flat screens stolen in the past and decided to have regular tv's. Now to mention cleaning I had spent hours there that morning cleaning it from top to bottom including emptying the hot tub, cleaning it and refilling it and bring it up to temp. The entire cabin was cleaned. All bed lines are washed and replaced and to think I over looked it is absurd. It may not seem brand new to you but I have been doing this for quite some time and made many guest happy. If for any reason you were dissatisfied you could and should of CALLED. We also mentioned that we lived in the county. You mentioned that this could be your for ever home, it could not have been too bad.I have my bar set ever time I rent it out and there are some guest that you will never please. Sorry if I did not meet your expectations.
A much needed trip to the mountains
A much needed trip to the mountains
What a great time we had at Karen and Paul's cabin. We brought our daughter, her husband and our three grandchildren. The grandchildren had never been to the mountains. There was so much room in the cabin that everyone could be playing a different game in another part of the house. Having a separate bathroom for each bedroom and a half bath downstairs was such a plus. The cabin was a little further away from where we wanted to be but we made our plans for the day and returned in the evening for a fun night of cooking dinner and playing games. It was centrally located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which was nice. We highly recommend this cabin for a peacefully time away.

In the Mountains
In the Mountains
Overall, we really enjoyed this cabin. It was very spacious and well maintained. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was a big plus. One thing that would have made it even better - wireless or even wired Internet access. The cabin has no landline phone and no Internet or cell phone (AT&T) access. Forget using a hotspot to attract an Internet signal. I tried and it does not work. The cabin is very remote and you will need to drive into town (about a 20 minute car ride) to find access or make a cell phone call. Internet is hardly a luxury anymore - we commonly use it for traveling directions, picking restaurants, making reservations, etc. The trip would have been ever so much easier with this resource available. The drive up the mountain, however, is beautiful! The cabin also has two porches - both of which are a joy to sit on and read or spend time with family. One porch has a gas and a charcoal grill and the other a hot tub. Watch the garbage cans on the front porch. Raccoons are crafty critters and they are determined. We stayed for 10 nights and by the end of our visit, I put rocking chairs on the cans as an added barrier. The back porch is a joy and you can expect to see lots of rabbits and birds while sitting quietly. It was a trip highlight. The cabin owners were very nice and easy to work with. The door knob locks are a bit tricky (need a little WD-40) and we wound up being locked out on our first night. Long story short, we drove down the mountain to the fire station (fire fighters know everyone in their town) and we're helped by a fire fighter and his brother-in-law, the latter was a locksmith. Once inside the cabin we found keys to the front door knob. The dead bolt is a combination lock and is very easy to use. The owners called us shortly after we left them a message asking for help but the problem was resolved by then. Overall, the owners were very attentive and I would gladly rent from them again. If you are looking for a beautiful and quiet cabin located in a gorgeous part of Tennessee, and if telephone and Internet access are not an issue, then this is a great choice. It offers the best of peace and quiet. When you arrive at the bottom of the mountain there are lots of craft shops and quaint eateries - we enjoyed them greatly and I am sure other guests would too.

Owner response: Thank you for taking time to write a review for us. We appreciate all the feedback we get. As owners of the cabin we try hard to ensure our guest have a what the expect and more. I have had a problem with cell phone coverage in the past and did put in a land line. I had taken the landline out since no one seemed to have used it. I have Verizon for cell phone service and always have had service. I had thought it was ok for all since it has been sometime from a complaint. I will call and have a wi-fi and or land line put in. So sorry for that inconvenience to you. I am happy you did have a wonderful vacation. Thank you again Karen and Paul
