Overall I'd like to give this cabin 4stars, but can't yet. The good: excellent great room/ kitchen set-up. Perfect for spending time with the family without walls separating areas. It's a large area. Great deck with hot tub. Spacious and comfortable beds. Areas that could be improved: cleanliness. The refrigerator was bad. The shelves were very dirty we had to get disinfectant wipes for the fridge and waste can. One bathroom had no blinds or curtains over the toilet. With neighbors higher up the hill it was a little getting used to. One set of bedroom sheets were full of hair and didn't look like they were changed in between guests. The shuffleboard really wasn't useable. Table is warped, no corn starch, puck didn't slide. Tv's were old school tubes. My biggest issue was the map were this cabin is 'supposedly' located. It is NOT anywhere near the marking. Its a hike away. Its mis-leading to think you are going to be around the corner from Dollyland based on the map here only to secure the rental and get the address to Google it and surprise its far off. Now its not fair to compare our usual location that we have been staying at for years to this cabin, but we have a bar set. This cabin can be our 'cabin home' if the minor things can be corrected. Cleanliness is a key. We shouldn't have to clean and wash sheets when we arrive. We will keep this cabin on our list of possibilities when we look at returning to the mountains again. The great room is perfect for our entertaining needs. We have been staying at another cabin, our usual location, so its somewhat not favor to compare.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: To our guest, let m say how surprised I was to see this. I had spoken to you quite a few times and you were aware of the location. You described different areas and knew we were 15 mins. to Dollywood. The televisions were also discussed and you asked if there were any game systems. I had mentioned that we had flat screens stolen in the past and decided to have regular tv's. Now to mention cleaning I had spent hours there that morning cleaning it from top to bottom including emptying the hot tub, cleaning it and refilling it and bring it up to temp. The entire cabin was cleaned. All bed lines are washed and replaced and to think I over looked it is absurd. It may not seem brand new to you but I have been doing this for quite some time and made many guest happy. If for any reason you were dissatisfied you could and should of CALLED. We also mentioned that we lived in the county. You mentioned that this could be your for ever home, it could not have been too bad.I have my bar set ever time I rent it out and there are some guest that you will never please. Sorry if I did not meet your expectations.

What a great time we had at Karen and Paul's cabin. We brought our daughter, her husband and our three grandchildren. The grandchildren had never been to the mountains. There was so much room in the cabin that everyone could be playing a different game in another part of the house. Having a separate bathroom for each bedroom and a half bath downstairs was such a plus. The cabin was a little further away from where we wanted to be but we made our plans for the day and returned in the evening for a fun night of cooking dinner and playing games. It was centrally located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which was nice. We highly recommend this cabin for a peacefully time away.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are happy you enjoyed your vacation and time together Hope to see you again! Karen and Paul

Overall, we really enjoyed this cabin. It was very spacious and well maintained. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was a big plus. One thing that would have made it even better - wireless or even wired Internet access. The cabin has no landline phone and no Internet or cell phone (AT&T) access. Forget using a hotspot to attract an Internet signal. I tried and it does not work. The cabin is very remote and you will need to drive into town (about a 20 minute car ride) to find access or make a cell phone call. Internet is hardly a luxury anymore - we commonly use it for traveling directions, picking restaurants, making reservations, etc. The trip would have been ever so much easier with this resource available. The drive up the mountain, however, is beautiful! The cabin also has two porches - both of which are a joy to sit on and read or spend time with family. One porch has a gas and a charcoal grill and the other a hot tub. Watch the garbage cans on the front porch. Raccoons are crafty critters and they are determined. We stayed for 10 nights and by the end of our visit, I put rocking chairs on the cans as an added barrier. The back porch is a joy and you can expect to see lots of rabbits and birds while sitting quietly. It was a trip highlight. The cabin owners were very nice and easy to work with. The door knob locks are a bit tricky (need a little WD-40) and we wound up being locked out on our first night. Long story short, we drove down the mountain to the fire station (fire fighters know everyone in their town) and we're helped by a fire fighter and his brother-in-law, the latter was a locksmith. Once inside the cabin we found keys to the front door knob. The dead bolt is a combination lock and is very easy to use. The owners called us shortly after we left them a message asking for help but the problem was resolved by then. Overall, the owners were very attentive and I would gladly rent from them again. If you are looking for a beautiful and quiet cabin located in a gorgeous part of Tennessee, and if telephone and Internet access are not an issue, then this is a great choice. It offers the best of peace and quiet. When you arrive at the bottom of the mountain there are lots of craft shops and quaint eateries - we enjoyed them greatly and I am sure other guests would too.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for taking time to write a review for us. We appreciate all the feedback we get. As owners of the cabin we try hard to ensure our guest have a what the expect and more. I have had a problem with cell phone coverage in the past and did put in a land line. I had taken the landline out since no one seemed to have used it. I have Verizon for cell phone service and always have had service. I had thought it was ok for all since it has been sometime from a complaint. I will call and have a wi-fi and or land line put in. So sorry for that inconvenience to you. I am happy you did have a wonderful vacation. Thank you again Karen and Paul

About the owner: We fell in love here and purchased Snugglin Inn on our wedding day. We visited as often as our jobs would allow but it was never enough. We decided to move here in 2009 from the northeast and we have never regretted it. We wanted to offer Snugglin Inn to guest so they too can enjoy that magical feeling.
