The 6 of us went in Sept. and had a BLAST! Oh to be able to live in a "House up in there"... GORGEOUS! I told the girls my only complaint is there was no cable for the (1) nite we stayed in. To look out off that back deck and see all those Autum colors.....BEAUTIFUL!!! We lots of antiquing and went for a river boat ride too! That was crazy FUN!!! We'll be back!!! ************** 5 STARS **************Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

What an awesome place! My family and me (18 total) really enjoyed our stay....plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen, dining room and living room were comfortably large enough to accomodate all of us. The weather was so hot and humid; therefore my 11 grandchildren (and parents) spent the majority of our stay in the pool/spa area. We grilled outside and sat in the screened porch for one of our evening meals. We also had a camp fire one evening. The golf cart was very handy for my daughter and husband who enjoyed a round of golf. When my family left on the 4th day, 5 of my girl friends joined me for two more days of relaxing and chatting......the deck and comfortable deck chairs were used the majority of the time. Loved the view! Thank you Jeff (and Brenda)!Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, girls getaway.

We spent last weekend 5/17/12-5/20/12 at this home for an adult weekend getaway. It was fabulous! The home was very spacious and virtually everything we could have needed was provided. The owner is exceptionally accommodating (extra towels, linens, lawn chairs, etc. ) With that being said, we spent very little time indoors! As the view from the back deck is amazing….we spent HOURS on the deck and screened in porch. Such a wonderful place to spend a leisurely weekend….between sunbathing on the deck, lounging in the hot tub, and playing cards in the screened in porch we never even made it down to the fire pit. I guess we’ll have to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a great time at the lodge. For the past 19 years our group of friends get together for an adult weekend get a way and we usually stay in a hotel. This year we wanted to get a cabin / lodge big enough and comfortable enough for everyone and we definitely found the perfect spot to accommodate us. This lodge has an exceptional view and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the back deck watching eagles fly over the river. We had a great time on the golf course, in the swimming pool and hot tub. We were only there for 3 nights, next time we will need to add an extra evening so we can enjoy a campfire. Great spot for some much needed R&R.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you very much. I appreciate the feedback.

This place was great. It was large enough to easily accommodate our party of 10 people. There is an atrium near the entrance that can double as an extra room if need be so everyone can have their privacy if necessary. The pool was huge and the hot tube was great for relaxing. It also included toys for the pool which is great for anyone bringing children and even things for adults. The view is tremendous. The home sits atop a bluff and in the morning you can wake up and go out and overlook the Wisconsin River and the surrounding nature. If you are looking for a place to get away where you will not have to leave to have a good time this is the place. The only downside to this property is that there is no cable or satellite. You do get about 6 or 7 local channels. Other than that this is a perfect place to spend time with a group any time of the year.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!

Great spot for a family trip or weekend getaway. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and all of us fit perfectly. Private back porch with an amazing view- we saw a Bald Eagle early in the morning, a plane landing on the river during the day and thousands of stars at night. Indoor pool was good for the kids (ages 3 & 1) and the grill and kitchen were great for making all the meals. A State Park a few miles away was great for hiking.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our family spent a very pleasant weekend at the property. The views of the Wisconsin River are beautiful! The location is very peaceful and relaxing. The home is comfortable with a large kitchen for cooking and plenty of space for a large group. The kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. All together it was a great gathering place for our whole family. The owner was extremely pleasant to deal with... we will come back again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

The photos on here don't capture this home's beautiful views. Incredibly spacious wood decking around three sides with nice deck chairs to sit at the bluff-top and watch the river. This includes a great spot just outside the pool room doors, so you can sit outside but also keep an eye on the swimmers. There is also decking along the wooded side of the house, and a nice deck facing the golf course. Lots of lawn space and woods for the kids to run around as well. We stayed in cold spring, so we were grateful that the kids had the indoor pool to enjoy and we could enjoy the fine views from inside when it rained. The kitchen was spacious and worked great for our large party. And we had a wood fire in the fireplace every night. We were also pleased with the excellent bird-watching. We saw all kinds of interesting birds, including a bald eagle. The home is all one one level, barring the entrance (which is up one flight), so handy for anyone who is more comfortable minimizing stairs. Really, a great home to visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you very much!
