We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in your beautiful home. Juneau's scenery did not disappoint, nor did our accommodations. Your home had everything we needed and then some! The kids (and adults) loved the ping pong and media room and the views from the hot tub in the evenings were like something straight out of a magazine! The wedding we attended for a family member at the Arboretum gave us some of the most beautiful pictures we have ever taken! This home has all the luxuries of home and more! From the beautiful views, jacuzzi tub, outdoor hot tub, and theatre room you will be pampered while you enjoy the wonder of nature and charm of Juneau Alaska. With room for up to 12 people, this is a great spot for a family reunion or groups of friends to stay in a wonderful setting. I was part of a group of 10 people who stayed in this gorgeous house at the end of July 2011. If you are looking for a beautiful home base from which to explore Southeast Alaska, I really don't think you can do any better than this. The house was clean, spectacularly furnished (seriously, it looks like a Pottery Barn catalog!), thoughtfully appointed and contained a whole notebook of helpful information about how to use the movie projector, the hot tub, etc. We were minutes from Juneau, and the neighborhood was very nice. When we ask my 8-year-old son what his favorite part of our vacation was, he still answers "the house in Juneau." We could not have asked for a better place, especially for this price!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I know my son and daughter-in-law (Jeff & Debi from Glendale, Az) have already left comments---but I just have to add my thoughts also. When we walked into this home we were just amazed. It is so beautiful and elegant. But what really impressed me was how comfortable the house is--you can truly tell it is a home filled with love. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the fantastic view and watching the 2 eagles who sit in the trees below the house. And movie nights in the theater were a blast. I can never imagine coming back to Juneau and not staying in this gorgeous home. We only got to stay 5 nights and we definitely want to return. We rented the house for 5 days the end of June and I wish I could have stayed much longer! I fell in love with Juneau on a cruise a few years ago and really enjoyed getting to spend more time visiting the city and exploring Douglas Island. We have 2 teenage daughters and they fell in love with the theater room! My husband and mother in law loved sitting on the porch with binoculars and I enjoyed curling up in the TV room downstairs and in the bedroom at night to relax. Great views, the house has everything you could possibly need and it feels very comfortable. I loved the different paintings and pictures and used the Mother Teresa quote on my Facebook page today :) Thank you for sharing your home! I hope we are able to return again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We love this house!! Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute in this lovely home. It was so nice to explore Juneau each day and actually look forward to coming "home" each night.
