  I recently visited the villa with eight friends. All of us are working and living in rural Indonesia as volunteers and living with host families, though we are adults. This was our first opportunity to take a trip away, and it was just what the doctor ordered. The house was beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and plenty of space for the nine of us. The manager, Nyoman, was very helpful, the cooks the first morning made a delicious breakfast, and the cleaning people were happy to delay cleaning for us when we were still cooking ourselves the second morning. The location was good as well, though Kuta is a bit confusing when you first get there! Finding our way back on foot seemed impossible at first, but the taxis always knew the way. Circle K, Alfa Mart and a mini market were very convenient for anything you need.

  Absolutely love Villa Tawa I went with my parents, brother and his kids. We had so much fun and I was able to celebrate my birthday in a great villa. The four bedrooms are large and comfortable and the rest of the villa is so beautiful. The staff were great and accommodating. Spike everyday made sure everything was ok. The villa is only a 5 minute walk away from the main street of Jl Kartika Plaza and to great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this villa and hope I get to stay there again soon

  his was our first time to Bali and we were unsure of what to expect. We travelled as an extended family, being 5 adults and a 19 month old grandchild. Karen, the villa owner made it so easy for us from booking the villa, emailing us a map showing directions to local amenities around the villa and also an information sheet to assist us during our stay. Karen also sorted out the return airport transfers for us. On our arrival at the villa, Spike was waiting to greet us. He was amazing throughout the stay. Anything you wanted, he could locate and it was not too much trouble. We found the villa was most suitable for the number of adults, with plenty of bedding and the rooms were spacious and clean. Karen arranged for a portacot for our grandchild. We used the pool in the villa every day. The pool area was completely secure and safe for our grandchild. We have no hesitation in recommending this villa for other families thinking of staying.

  Cannot say enough about service given by Karen, definitely above anything even a travel agent would do. From helping out with booking flights, to general information about Bali to obviously booking Villa Tawa and your other Villa Ceira between the 16days we were in Bali. Would recommend your service as the best, seriously thank you so much Karen. Being a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers 16, 15 & 15yrs) both Villa's were just perfect for us, a room for each teenager upstairs and a haven for us downstairs as they had their own lounge area where they could relax and watch TV or the Dvd's they had bought! Beautifully appointed, kitchen area great and of course the pool area was just perfect for a quick cool off before bedtime. Located only a short walk from Jalan Kartika Plaza, but far enough away from that hustle and bustle to be private and restful. Your staff were great - Spike, Putu, Kadek always helping in anyway they could and at the same time having a laugh and a chat with them. Thanks Karen and Bill. You have 2 awesome properties which we will recommend without hesitation.

  My family had an enjoyable stay at Villa Tawa. There is so much room in this villa that it accomodated myself, my husband and 5 kids easily. The villa was clean and tidy and had all the accessories you would normally have in your own home. The 2 living areas made it easy for everyone to do their own thing without overcrowding in one area and the plunge pool was perfect to cool off after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. Staff were friendly and helpful and only a phone call away if needed. The villa is set back from the main road but taxi's are easily accessible or walking via one of about 5 different routes will take you to Kartika Road in about 5 - 10 mins. Otherwise, scooters are the way to get around. Circle K shop, massage, laundry, food carts and the Best Western Resort are all directly outside the villas. We would highly recommend this villa for families looking for something more homely than a hotel stay.

  We stayed at this appartment for 10 nights, we found the appartment to be clean, plenty of amenities, with 4 Bedrooms, 2 tv areas, a safe for your valuables, own private pool, the villa manager was great and responded to any requests we had or questions. Villa's driver Dilli was excellent,drove us and organised a cake for my wife's b'day unbeknownst to us when we booked a night at Jimbaran Bay Seafoods (JBS), a great night was had by all. Highly recommended! Owner Karen was excellent in responding to communications (emails and calls), even refunded a nights accomodation due to no fault of ours or hers (our airline cancelled our flight 10 mins out from boarding due to mechanical issue, we managed to get on next flight next morning via perth), Karen went over and beyond the call of duty and it was very much appreciated! I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Tawa, her staff or Karen (owner).

  the staff,spike, cleaners and drivers were so helpful . it was pouring with rain, we had a lady in a wheel chair, spike arrange k.f.c. to be home delivered for us .the compasion was fantasic and the 6 teenagers were very greatful. the house is well set out like the upstairs and downstairs t.v. /lounge areas, plunge pool great. i might sugest take one double bed out and add more single beds other than that the house is perfect.located close to every thing in kuta, but away from the hussle and bussle . i liked the house because it felt like you could retreat to home, if you needed time out, with the knowlege the staff would be there at a phone calls notice. thanks again have already recommended it to known bali travellers.and plan to be back next year.

  We stayed in the villa in jnauary 2012 and were very lucky with the weather, it only rained once. The villa had everything that you could possibly want and there was enough room for the whole family without getting in each others way. Karen was very helpful every step in organising our holiday and the staff were fantastic especially spike. Ill definatley book Karens villa again, thank you so much

  From the minute we walked in the door, we were really glad we had chosen Villa Tawa as our accommodation in Kuta for two weeks. The Villa was imaculate and was serviced everyday. Spike, the manager was so friendly and helpful. Whenever we rang to ask him for help or to book a tour or a driver he would be around almost instantly and was always willing to help ('You tha Man Spike!'). The Villa is located a few streets back from the main tourist strip of Kuta, it's about 5-10 min walk to the main road which is great as it's quiet and secluded, away from all of the huslte and bustle. The private plunge pool was a big hit for all of us, we used it almost everyday often more than once! It really did become a home away from home for us. Karen and Bill equipped us with information about the area, local restaurants and shops, a map to help us become oriented with our location. This made us prepared and ready for our stay in Kuta, which made it even more enjoyable. We have been telling everyone we know who is looking at going to Bali, to stay at Villa Tawa.

  We stayed as a family of 4, 3 adults and a child. The layout was perfect for us having 2 separate sleeping areas and loungerooms. The convienence of the kitchen was ideal particulary with a fussy eater. And the pool was superb. Cant recommend the Villa enough. Everything from the booking experience with Karen to being taken cared of by Spike in Bali was very professional and friendly. Will most definately be back next year.
