Our home is located on Kentucky Lake and is overlooking the water. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. There is over 1,000 ft of deck space for entertaining and just a short (approximately 125 ft) walk to the water. All bedrooms have televisions and DVD players. The master bedroom is equipped with it's own bathroom with tub, king size bed and has a 42 inch plasma TV with surround sound and DVD player. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a 42 inch plasma TV with DVD player. The third bedroom has a queen bedroom with a 32 inch TV and a DVD player, Playstation 2 and multiple games.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open to one another and is a great place for the whole family. The dining room table is massive enough to accommodate everyone staying at the house and a couple more that may be stopping by for dinner (at least ten).
We understand that at night you might be ready for a movie, so the living room is equipped with a 50 inch 1080p Samsung TV and Samsung Blue Ray surround system. There are over 100 movies in the DVD library. If you like, the system will allow you to log onto your Netflix account and rent a movie that way. If you want to listen to music just connect your Ipod to the surround sound or turn on one of the digital music channels.
House is equipped with wireless cable internet, so for those who need the internet, we have it at no additional charge.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking for the whole gang. Pots, pans, griddle, plates, coffee maker, toaster, etc...
The deck (over 1000 sq ft) is outfitted with two patio sets and seating runs the entire length of the deck. A charcoal grill is supplied. This overlooks the water and is the best seat in the house.
Cleanliness is our number one priority. This house is professionally cleaned after every stay, no matter how short.

Memorial Day to Labor Day weekly rentals only $1800.00 plus tax. *Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekend requires a 7 night stay for $2,100.00 plus tax. October 1st to April 30 requires a 3 night minimum at $250.00 per night or $1,500.00 per week plus tax. All rentals require $500 security deposit. 1/2 rental due at booking. Check in 4pm and check out at 10am. Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday May and September, 3 night minimum at $300.00 per night. All rates subject to additional 10% sales & lodging tax

My husband and I purchased the home along with our daughter and son-in-law. All of us live and work only minutes away.
Why the Owner Chose Benton
All of us grew up in the area and have always dreamed of owning a home on the water. While my husband enjoys fishing and our son-in-law, wakeboarding, my daughter and I simply enjoy the atmosphere here. The view is beautiful and there are always fun activities in the area. Although it is somewhat remote, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants only minutes away. My personal favorite is a pontoon ride just before dark. All of us enjoy traveling, but haven't seen anything prettier than the view from our lake home.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The main thing I enjoy about the house is the one-level open floor plan and the large deck which gives access to the lakefront view from every angle. When we have guests, everyone is able to be in the same room or on the deck comfortably. However, there is privacy in the bedrooms where everyone can watch their own TV or even turn in early because it is extremely quiet here. Not only outside, but inside noises such as heat/air, appliances, and plumbing are quiet as well.

This place is beautiful with an awesome view of the lake across the back of the house with lots of windows. A large deck stretchs along the backside of the house. We woke to a beautiful sunrise. We will definetly come back again!

The Bayside at Shawnee Bay on Kentucky Lake Beautiful home - really liked the sky lights throughout -with great lake view off large deck covered by big shade trees. Most relaxing vacation we've had in years - enjoyed the lake, beautiful sunny weather, grilling, sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings and watching the world wake up. Thank you Carla and Randy - a big thumbs up! We'll be back with more family and friends!

The homeowners thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable. This place is even better than described! The first thing we noticed when we walked in were the beautiful skylights and all the natural light they provided. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless! The view of the lake was also very nice and we weren't too far from the main channel. The home is located just minutes away from local attractions such as Patti's Settlement and other dining establishments. The owners let us know that they were only a phone call away if we needed anything at all and really cared about making our stay very comfortable. We all had a great time and will definitely be back again for another visit!!
