  Very nice home, with well stocked kitchen. Extremely nice bathrooms. Huge deck, which overlooks dock and water. Dock is very handy for accommodating boat s or fishing in a hot spot right from dock.

  We really enjoyed staying at Kentucky Lake and specifically at this lake home. The owners really show "pride of place" with this home and you can tell that it is well taken care of. The kitchen is wonderful and I found nearly everything necessary for cooking family meals. The stereo and sound system on the TV's was top notch. The entire home was clean, although there are some odor problems with the carpet in the master bedroom. We are sure the owners know about this and are planning to take care of it. Additionally, the owners were very helpful and very fair in that they allowed us to have a partial refund on the use of the pontoon boat. It was a bit too cold to be out on the lake comfortably during our stay. That was very fair and we really appreciated it- they did not have to give us any money back. We loved the home, had a wonderful time on our first trip to this area of the country. Would like to return! Thank you

  After an exhausting search on the internet to find a comfortable, clean rental that would allow for a wheelchair, I found this listing. Upon contacting the owner, she gave me details that allowed me to determine that with the use of our portable ramp, this location was perfect for our planned trip. Carla and Randy (owners) were very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. The pictures do not do the place justice. The location, furnishings, and home is beautiful. I would recommend to anyone to rent this property. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and the fire pit. Roasting hotdogs and marshmellows and being together as a family was what true memories are made of. The only restriction I saw was that the terrain from the house to the lake was rather steep and rocky for a wheelchair. Lucky for us, my granddaughter had a modified stroller that we could use to get her down the hill and on the dock to do some fishing. Also the location is perfect for all the nearby activities that the lake offers. I will definitely be staying there again when we book our next vacation. Thanks Carla and Randy!

  My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The property was way beyond our expectations. The owners have supplied everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation by the lake. Really enjoyed the view from the deck to the lake, I spent many mornings watching the sunrise over the lake . Thanks again Randy and Carla see you next year.

  We just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful time. You guys really take great care of your property and the view from the deck is spectacular. The place was very clean and cozy. My only suggestion would be for the master bedroom. The skylights make it very bright in the morning so anyone coming to stay here be prepared for that. If you are a morning person it will be great. The use of your pontoon boat make the vacation extra special.

  This is a wonderful place for a family vacation everyone from the baby, to the teens, to the parents and grandparents had a great time. The deck is huge with two patio sets and the baby was able to go all over in his walker with plenty of room for toys while a portion could be designated with lakefront views for the adults to relax, talk and eat. It was in the triple digits when we were there but the deck was still cool because of the lake breezes and the shade from all the trees. The house is stocked better than any vacation home we ever stayed in and the owners were right there if you needed anything. They showed us were to put the boat in and told us places to get gas and explained how to navigate the lake. The dock was perfect for our boat and the house is much closer to the lake then the pictures showed. The house was cool, comfortable but fashionably decorated, and had all of our technology needs with wireless and 4 tv's with dvds and even a PlayStation. There was a detailed house book to let you know how to work everything and another book on boating and fishing on Kentucky Lake. There was also games, scrabble, a really nice chess set, ect. at the house. We had not stayed at Kentucky Lake before as we usually go to the ocean and have a small lake where we live. Kentucky Lake was incredible, we boated, tubed; knee boarded, rented a jet ski from the Moors (excellent service and prices) and even took the canal over to Lake Barkley. The girls went horseback riding at Wranglers Campground and really, really enjoyed the experience. They went at 2:00 in the afternoon on a triple digit day so you would have thought they would have been really hot riding the horses but they said the ride is mainly in the shade and they did not get hot and the staff was exceptional. The location is perfect as you are only 10 minutes from town (we went to Benton) but you are isolated enough that at night it is quiet and the stars are bright. The house was very clean and the outside of the house was well maintained. We went to Patty's for dinner one night, we had been there before, and they have the best southern food in the United States. Since we had a full kitchen we stocked the refrigerator on arrival and did not eat out except for Patty’s and once we brought back Pizza. The two bathrooms have huge bathtubs with showers. We plan to return on a yearly basis as this is a summer vacation that was just the relaxing break we needed and a great time for everyone in the family.

  This place is beautiful with an awesome view of the lake across the back of the house with lots of windows. A large deck stretchs along the backside of the house. We woke to a beautiful sunrise. We will definetly come back again!

  The Bayside at Shawnee Bay on Kentucky Lake Beautiful home - really liked the sky lights throughout -with great lake view off large deck covered by big shade trees. Most relaxing vacation we've had in years - enjoyed the lake, beautiful sunny weather, grilling, sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings and watching the world wake up. Thank you Carla and Randy - a big thumbs up! We'll be back with more family and friends!

  The homeowners thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable. This place is even better than described! The first thing we noticed when we walked in were the beautiful skylights and all the natural light they provided. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless! The view of the lake was also very nice and we weren't too far from the main channel. The home is located just minutes away from local attractions such as Patti's Settlement and other dining establishments. The owners let us know that they were only a phone call away if we needed anything at all and really cared about making our stay very comfortable. We all had a great time and will definitely be back again for another visit!!

Memorial Day to Labor Day weekly rentals only $1800.00 plus tax.
*Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekend requires a 7 night
stay for $2,100.00 plus tax. October 1st to April 30 requires a 3
night minimum at $250.00 per night or $1,500.00 per week plus tax.
All rentals require $500 security deposit.  1/2 rental due at booking.
Check in 4pm and check out at 10am.  Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday
May and September, 3 night minimum at $300.00 per night.
