Imagine waking up and enjoying breakfast while gazing out over waves of rolling snow-topped mountains for miles that seem to never end, or watching deer in the yard. The cabin was finished in May of '04, and offers a variety of activities, whether you would rather relax and enjoy the scenery with all the comforts of home, or travel around the area to play in Mother Nature's favorite creation. It's great for families, couples (honeymooners will never forget it), or anyone that just wants to enjoy a vacation surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Colorado. Very conveniently located between Durango and Cortez (30 minutes to either), close to Mesa Verde, looking over the San Juan National Forest, and only nine minutes to Mancos, with grocery store, restaurants, and unique shops of its own!
The cabin sits on 3 1/2 acres, in ranching/timbering country about 3 miles off the north side of US Highway 160, just east of Mancos, Colorado. Central to all activities and points of interest that make southwest Colorado and the Four Corners such a popular choice and return destination. Mesa Verde National Park is one of the top five in the US, and it's only 20 minutes away (you can see Mesa Verde from the cabin).
Southwest Colorado has lots of family fun opportunities year-round, something exciting going on almost daily. We stay up to date with what’s happening and can supply information about area events and activities for grownups and kids of all ages. Let us help you make plans! We can recommend restaurants, shops, museums, great scenic drives, hiking trails, places to fish or hunt, the best traders of Indian art and source for souvenirs of the area, horseback and stagecoach rides; whatever you’re looking for, we’ll try to help you find it. There's even a swimming pool just around the hill!

6-day rental preferred, noon Sun/noon Sat $1,050. Additional days $175.
Deposit: $250 to secure reservation, balance due upon arrival.
Full deposit refund if cancelled more than 30 days ahead, or if can be rented.
