THIS PROPERTY IS IDEAL FOR TWO FAMILIES. 4 ADULTS AND 4-6 KIDS

Outstanding views. Freestanding property, just like being in a house. 5 min. walk to Canyon Lodge or take the shuttle that stops right in front of the Mammoth West complex.

Don't ski? Then relax and take in the views or it's an easy walk to the Village Gondola at Canyon Lodge.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR WINTER STAYS: Since this property has amazing views it is located high on the hillside and at the top of a private road. During the winter 4 Wheel Drive is a must.
2 Wheel drive will require chains ... but from what I've seen most 2 Wheel drives can't get up the hill. Going down is much harder when there is snow and ice.
If you do have a two wheel drive, you can park about 100 yards down the hill - Parking is available at a lower level - but you will need to walk up the hill or outside staircase.

You can ski to the front door of this condo from the Come Back Trail that leads you to The Village. Property backs up to the National Forest and is so tranquil and serene. Once you stay here you will be spoiled forever.

                I rented this unit based on the pictures and the location because we ski out of Canyon Lodge. This was even more incredible than what my husband and I expected. What views!! We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped! From crock pots to salad bowls and there was even a special cabinet next to the stove that had over 30 spices to choose from! It wasn't until we went to bed that we realized that were sleeping on high thread count sheets and a choice of pillows for every kind of sleeper. Super comfortable beds. There were sleds / saucers in the shed for the kids and because it backs up the the forest, we built snowmen and it was quiet and peaceful. We skied straight to the front door - down the "back to the village" run. Super convenient and we hope to stay there again next time we go to Mammoth.

                Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

              The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
              Besides waking up to the views ... it's fun feeding peanuts to the "local birds". Stellar Jay, Clark' s Nutcracker, teeny-tiny Mountain Chickadees, White headed woodpecker's and the American Robin ... just to name a few! They are so friendly they will fly right up to thebalcony as you put out the peanuts. The kids love watching and feeding these beautiful birds.
