    Very nice home. We loved the view and rustic feel of the home.

    We found the cabin to be very cozy & warm while temperatures outside dipped into the 30's at night. The cabin was very comfortable and clean and supplied everything we needed for an enjoyable and restful vacation. The games in the lower level provided some added fun. The neighborhood is great for walking. We would definitely stay there again.

    We have been looking for an affordable vacation spot close to our home in Auburn. We feel so blessed to have found the Heaths' cabin on Lake Wedowee!! The cabin is charming and equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our family of five, and the floorplan allowed us to sleep undisturbed while the kids could play and watch movies at night. We loved everything about it. We were fortunate to have the most beautiful, perfect weather of the year! We used the kayak a lot, and fished off the dock. It was just great and the owners could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We hope this will be the first of many visits! Thanks again for everything!

    The cabin was as advertised, except better. The owners are very nice and made our weekend stay very enjoyable. We look forward to coming back!

    We really enjoyed the cabin and dock the last few days. This was our first visit to Lake Wedowee and we were impressed with the water quality and overall lake. Our Grandson enjoyed the water slide and catching crappie off the dock. Our Son in Law enjoyed the night fishing off the dock and the outcome of the GA/TN game on Sat., sorry Greg! Our Daughter enjoyed catching more crappie than her hubby and then learned how to clean fish. This was a great way to spend a long weekend, we plan on returning for a longer visit next time. Thanks for sharing your property, Ron

    We had a wonderful time visiting Lake Wedowee for the first time! The cabin was exactly as described and was a nice place to stay and relax. The owners were very easy to work with -- thank you! Our family had a great time and will definitely be back! Thanks for letting us use your cabin!

    My family and I just got back from this cabin and thoroughly enjoyed it!! The layout of the cabin is great! There is a kids' bedroom loft upstairs, a nice main floor bedroom and bath, and a finished basement with a master bedroom, bath, and another family/game room. There is plenty of space in the house to play together or separate. We also ate both inside the cabin and outside in the screen porch. The kids (ages 10 & 7) really enjoyed sliding down the slide with life jackets into the water, kayaking and fishing (as did we)! We loved the porch hammock swing! The house has everything you need and we loved the log cabin style decor. The owners were super nice and offered great tips for enjoying our stay! The neighbors and their dogs are very welcoming as well! Also, we went to the "beach" at Flat Rock Park 3x we loved it so much! The grocery store, drug store, dollar store and gas station are close by. This was a great, fun, relaxing family trip with lots of bonding time. We can't wait to go back! Do stay here, you won't regret it!

    We enjoyed our stay at your Lake Wedowee property. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed the view. The cabin was spacious, clean, and well stocked with linens, dishes, etc. We mostly used the main level which was more than enough room for the two of us. The steps to the water were tricky but pacing ourselves we did okay. Hand rails on both sides would be more comforting. We enjoyed the water but as expected it got really busy on Saturday. Thank you for the good memories for our 37th anniversary. You have a great get-away place. We hope we can visit again.

    We enjoyed our three night stay at your beautiful cabin. The boat dock was perfect for our boat and we enjoyed fishing and touring the lake from the water. Yes there are many steps down but we managed that fine. Cabin was clean when we arrived and I believe we left it that way. Thanks for sharing we will pass this information along to friends and family.

    Great cabin with everything you need. Owner was great to work with, and even made sure the a/c was on well before our arrival since temps were up to 105 the weekend we were there. We took our boat and used the ramp next door. The gentleman who lived there was very nice too. Lots of games and toys in the cabin that kept my 7 year old content for the weekend! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and my father in law and mother in law. This was our first visit to Lake Wedowee, we'll definitely be back.... nice, quiet lake even though it was the weekend before the 4th. Great for taking the kids tubing, our girls had a blast.

    We stayed for 3 nights with friends to celebrate both our anniversaries. We loved the house and it's rustic, yet homey feel on the inside. The porches were a sanctuary and we spent most of the time there. Yes, the steps were steep down to the water, but the dock was nice and the wives could view much of the water activities from the back porch. The owner told us this before renting and even apologized, though none was necessary. We got to meet the owner and talk a few minutes about the history of the house and his family. This was a treat. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a memorable weekend.

    We have had curiosity about Alabama living and chose this location for a base camp. We could easily have spent all of our time on location. On the warm days, the screened in porch is terrific. We had one really warm day and having breakfast on the porch watching the morning begin was gorgeous. With the rainy and cooler days, we liked being in front of the big fire place. Since we do mostly from scratch cooking, counter space was a bit scarce, but adequate. It was very quiet, being at the end of a branch off a dead end road means traffic was nearly nil and we liked that. Everything was clean and ready for use. With just two of us, our use was almost entirely on the main floor. If there had been more of us, our view is that the space would still have worked very well. We highly recommend the Museum of Natural History in Anniston. Of course, we went to the top of Cheaha mountain (Alabama's highest point). We enjoyed chatting with folks in Talleduga, Alexander City, Opelika, and Roanoke. The native population is warm and friendly and you can learn a lot during your stay if you wish.

    My husband and I enjoyed our getaway from our busy and hecked life. It was very quiet and peaceful for us going down to the dock fishing, I enjoyed reading a book on the screen porch, which is good for having your morning coffee or evening dinner. The house was very warm and comfortable and large enough for us to bring our family. The owners are very nice and helpful.

    This was a perfect quiet getaway for Spring Break for our family. The owners made everything easy. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable and easy to access. We enjoyed fishing off the boat dock and watching the sunset off the deck.

    We have stayed here several times. It is a wonderful get away spot. Very relaxing, clean up to date modern summer cottage/cabin. All furnishings and applicances are up to date and in good working order. The pictures and description accurately describe the facilities. The lake is clean, good for swimming. A nearby cove is an excellent swimming area for small children. A great fishing lake, for Crappie and Large Mouth Bass. The property is clean and well manintained. I would recommend the property to friends and family without hesitation. The town of Wedowee is just a short drive away and has shopping, a few resturants and antique shops. All in all, a great place to stay.
