A First Birthday to Remember
A First Birthday to Remember
We had family travel in from Florida, California, and Washington to celebrate our daughter's first birthday. The Kachess Ridge Lodge was the perfect place to host our party of 12. The lodge had everything we could ask for and more. We were especially thankful for all the baby gear (portable crib, baby gates, high chair, and a drop cloth) which made the stay all the more pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to a friend. The lodge is magnificent. The decorations are excellently selected. The amenities are all encompassing. The view of the mountains is beautiful. And the owners have really thought about everything you might need for your stay - the lodge was well equipped. The lodge provides plenty of outdoor and indoor activities. Even when the storms rolled in, we were perfectly content spending the day in the lodge. The gathering rooms were large and spacious with plenty of seating and a ping pong tournament kept us entertained. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We hope to return one day!

B&B Family Vacation
B&B Family Vacation
When we first arrived, we couldn't believe our view of both the property and the view! The house is such a wonderful place to stay, we all felt like we were at home. There is not a thing that Joel and Lynne missed in this house. Joel and Lynne were so nice and always fast at responding to any needs that we had. We stayed for 7 nights and had a fantastic time, especially with four kids under that age of 6. We had a hard time leaving to go visit anything because this house had everything inside and outside. I would encourage anyone to stay here, as I am positive you won't have a bad time!! You will feel at home. We can't wait to go back again!!

We knew this was a magical place as soon as we drove up the driveway. The house and grounds was more than we could have asked for. The house was spotless and the decor was as if you turned a page in the magazine of "Beautiful Home". I have stayed in many VRBO homes, but this home out did all of them. The ten of us had the time of our lives with the space we had to ourselves when needed, the games we played inside and outside, the hot tub under the stars, the beds were so comfy, all the conforts of home plus. Lynne and Joel left us a wonderful note, a bottle of wine and even a card for my daughter's graduation. We look forward to planning another trip someday and would love to meet Lynne. Joel was awesome the short time we did get to meet and chat with him. This is truly a home filled with love, a place you wouldn't want to miss. I would recommend this home to family and friends. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Great family getaway!
Great family getaway!
This VRBO rental was amazing! The owner met us upon arrival with a smile and open arms. She even had a bottle of nice wine waiting for us when we arrived. The house was clean and was decorated in a super cozy cabin feel. We rented this home with another family and 6 kids total under 10. The property was spread out well with lots of fun things for everything. Big yard for the kids to play soccer and tons of board games and indoor activities to keep us busy in the rain. The music system was also a plus with an easy to use outdoor speaker set up that kept us entertained while we had fires at night. We felt so lucky to have such a beatiful house that was obviously so cared for to vacation in. Overall just a great experience. I hightly recommend that you stay here. You will not be disappointed.

I had my family and friends over at that cabin for 5 days and we were very happy with the house. It is very clean and everything thoughtful around. This cabin is built from 2ft diameter logs that looks so good and gives you that cabin feel. Lots of snow around regardless of warm weather. Groomed snowmobile trail was less than one mile from us and we had a blast with amazing views on that trail. Hot tub was in great condition and very clean. Basement level is awesome for entertainment, especially ping pong table was a lot of fun for all of us. Definitely on my fave list and I will be back for sure. Thank you Lynne and Joel

Wonderful winter cabin!
Wonderful winter cabin!
I rented Kachess Ridge Lodge for a weekend reunion of friends from college and it proved to be the perfect location. There is great snow-shoeing out the back door and an excellent network of cross country skiing trails about a mile down the road. For the folks who weren't as adventurous the cabin was a great place to pass the time; it is spacious, clean, and even better looking than the pictures! We will certainly be back again!

We couldn't have found a more lovely place to stay for our family gathering. I plan to make it an annual event! The property was in excellent condition, the surroundings were lovely and the owner was very helpful in showing us around. Easy access to I-90 but being a couple of miles off of the highway made it peaceful and quiet. Sledding, cross country skiing, hot tubbing.... we did it all!

This property far exceeded our expectations. A great deal of thoughfulness and detail is put into making this destination warm, welcoming, with no worry. It has all the amenities you'll ever need: nice kitchen, space galore, music, TV with movie options, lawn games, wi-fi, plug and play electronics, ping-pong, kayaks and more. It's near the water, in a secluded, beautiful location. I would highly recommend this; I can't wait to go again.

About the owner: We have lived and raised our family at Lake Kachess for 23 years. Once our children were grown and gone we also started spending more time off on our own adventures! It made us sad to think of our home sitting empty and lonely! This house is meant to be filled with family and friends creating special memories. We decided we wanted to share it with others. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
