We have whale watching in the wintertime to the sunny beaches in the summertime, Dana Point Harbor is the place to visit anytime of the year.
Known for having the Best Climate on Earth. Average temperature is 72 degrees. It is private, spacious and just a few minutes from family beaches, the famous pier, fire pits and swing sets. Five minutes away is the famous Ave. Del Mar, where you will discover fabulous restaurants, antique shops, surf and swimwear shops and stylish boutiques.
Our home is the perfect place for families, extended families or groups of friends to escape. Our home is three floors, 2,200 sq ft with 3 Bedrooms. Sleeps 6 privately or up to 12 throughout the house. The master bedroom is on the top floor and has a King bed, beautiful fireplace, 42” Flat screen HDTV, big bathtub and separate shower, Top floor also has luxury kitchen and living room area with beautiful fireplace, 42” Flat screen HDTV, 2nd Floor has Queen bed in 2nd bedroom, Double Bed in 3rd bedroom, bathroom has Jacuzzi tub. 2 Balconies to enjoy your morning coffee. Large den 42” Flat screen HDTV, mini kitchenette.
Both living room areas have enough room for Aero bed mattress queen size (we provide this for you) and 2 couches that comfortably sleeps one each. Enjoy high speed internet.
You can Barbeque while watching view and enjoying friends at same time.
Stroll along the beach or watch boats at the harbor. Walk the pier and watch the surfers at some of California’s best surfing breaks. Soak up the sun while lying on the beach, swim, boogie board, volleyball, basketball or watch the sunset. Nearby shops include everything you need plus antiques, swimwear, surf shops, Kinko’s, post office, and arts and crafts. Community center and public library. San Clemente and Dana Point sponsor several festivals throughout the summer and a farmers market on Sunday.
The many restaurants to sample include Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, and Fisherman’s on the pier. Great harbor restaurants. Quaint cafes for breakfast and lunches.
Just a 35 minute drive from Disneyland and 1 hour to San Diego\Sea World, Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Also very nearby is Mission San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point Harbor, where you can picnic, fish, rent jet skis, or catch a cruise to Catalina Island. Just an hour away is Temecula’s wine country.

We LOVED our stay here! We were a big group-- 3 families with 6 adults and 3 kids. The home was more than spacious to accommodate all of us-- adults all had their own bedrooms and the kids made the 1st level family room their own (many thanks to nice Aeromatresses)! Everything was extremely clean and modern (flat-screen TVs, furniture, bathrooms, kitchen) and the multiple decks and views were exquisite! Also loved the laundry room right off the front walk in-- made it so convenient for all of our beach days! We love the San Clemente/Dana Point area-- so many great beaches and restaurants (you must check out Stacks Pancake House in Dana Point and Velvet Yogurt in San Clemente) and centrally located between LA and San Diego. The owners were extremely kind and very helpful.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

The owner(s) of this home have had it decorated very nicely, and they are nice themselves. They were kind enough to meet us a little early, at the home, and to walk us through, making sure we had enough space to accomodate our 10 people--which it did. The bathrooms, though limited to two, are both pretty, so even if you don't get the master suite (which is very nicely decked out!) you won't feel cheated with your corner whirlpool tub. And the upstairs is perfect for small gatherings, laid out well for its size, allowing people in all areas of the kitchen to converse easily with the people in the living space. And another nice feature is that even when this happens it's still quiet on the second floor, so late sleepers can be easily accomodated. * The listing description was accurate * The photos accurately reflect the appearance and amenitites * The property is clean and well-maintained * The owner was helpful * I would recommend this property * In terms of location, Dana Point/Capo Beach is a personal favorite, so I can't be unbiased--it's great, close to everything from great walking/running trails to restaurants to DisneyLand and LegoLand. Overall, my advice is: Book and enjoy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and spacious home. It is centrally located near San Clemente and Laguna. The floor plan is ideal for two families as the second floor has its own living area and kitchenette. We also enjoyed watching the fireworks show from the balcony! I will definitely recommend this property to family and friends!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We are really particular when it comes to a clean place to stay. This home is exactly as stated, clean and fresh...with all the esentials being new, linens, pillows, beds, couches etc.Simply fabulous views down to the Dana Point Harbor, Master with Fireplace had lots of windows and was beyond our expectations, the master bathroom was huge. Open living room and kitchen had lots of light and windows, which we love, it felt like home, bringing the outdoors inside. Many balcony's and outdoor area's to sit and relax. My kids were able to use their computer games on the multiple flat screens. Really liked the multilevel layout as well. Close to the beach and harbor and it was everything we expected. We will rent again...Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
