FREE shuttle bus from condominium building to Winter Park for skiers and boarders. (For the advanced skier, Winter Park has some of the top bump-skiing runs in North America!) Within a five-minute walk, the following are located: convenience store, Mexican and pizza restaurants, bars/pubs, new movie theater and bowling ally, and church. Two blocks from Winter Park's Main Street, so when the sun goes down you can continue to play.

Great place to stay! My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in this condo. We skied during the day and had a quiet place to relax at night. All we needed was a few groceries and we were all set. Everything else was there!!! We were able to walk downtown for shopping and yet drive to the ski resort within 10 minutes. It was very nicely updated and clean. Comfortable bed and pull out couch with fully updated kitchen. The owner was very helpful and accomodating in answering our questions/concerns quickly. The only challenge was lugging heavy bags and ski equipment up the 2 flights of stairs. Overall, very happy with this choice.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Great place! We loved being on the top floor and in an end unit-- very quiet! The beds were very comfortabe and we loved the new shower and well stocked kitchen. The winter park shuttle picked us up right down stairs. My wife and my two kids had a very nice trip and will stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We live and work in downtown Denver. I feel so lucky to live in Colorado and try to enjoy the outdoors summer and winter. I grew up skiing in Winter Park and still do. I love bump skiing and come up whenever I can. This condo has been in our family for 36 years (original owners) and it holds a special place in my memories--we hope you can create some fond memories in Winter Park too.
Why the Owner Chose Hi Country Haus:
My family bought the condo when I was young. Winter Park is a family oriented resort that is very close to Denver. There are consistently fewer traffic issues commuting to Winter Park than the other Front Range Ski Resorts. It is 'Colorado's Favorite' and although has a reputation for being family friendly and affordable, has some of the most challenging slopes in North America that keeps expert skiers comming back. Summer offers fun children's activities at the resort base, miles of bike trails at every level, and scenic hiking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Living room has a huge L-shaped leather couch for lounging, watching movies or gazing at the fire after a long day on the mountain. Rec Center has a huge indoor pool with four hot tubs along with a game room, laundry facilities.
