Year Purchased: 1973
We live and work in downtown Denver. I feel so lucky to live in Colorado and try to enjoy the outdoors summer and winter. I grew up skiing in Winter Park and still do. I love bump skiing and come up whenever I can. This condo has been in our family for 36 years (original owners)and it holds a special place in my memories--we hope you can create some fond memories in Winter Park too. It never was fancy but it is comfortable, clean and has what you need for a relaxing time at an affordable price.
Why the Owner Chose Hi Country Haus
My family bought the condo when I was young. Winter Park is a family oriented resort that is very close to Denver. There are consistently fewer traffic issues commuting to Winter Park than the other Front Range Ski Resorts. It is "Colorado's Favorite" and although has a reputation for being family friendly and affordable, has some of the most challenging slopes in North America that keeps expert skiers comming back. Summer offers fun children's activities at the resort base and miles of bike trails at every level.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Living room has a huge L-shaped leather couch for lounging, watching movies or gazing at the fire after a long day on the mountain. Rec Center has a huge indoor pool with four hot tubs along with a game room, laundry facilities.
