  We stayed at this property last week and really enjoyed it. The room has a comfortable bed, was very clean, and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint was that we could not stay longer. The pool was great, the grounds were very well kept, there was ample parking, and you never had to wait on an elevator. Unfortunately, there was a tropical storm the day after we arrived and we had to miss doing any outside activities, but we still enjoyed our stay. Marcella was always quick to answer any e-mails prior to our arrival date. This was our first trip to Destin and we feel that the Luau and this property specifically were a great choice.

  We recently had a great short stay at this condo as I had a business meeting in Sandestin. We enjoyed the fabulous location and I was able to walk to my meeting. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon and a nice walk on the beach the next morning. Marcella provides a coffee pot, so bring your favorite coffee to brew coffee in the room.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

  My husband and I stayed here September 2011 for three nights as a quick weekend getaway from Alabama. Marcella was very nice and easy to deal with...and she was prompt to respond when we had questions during our stay. We are world travelers (stay at Four Seasons/Ritz regularly on business trips), and in our opinion this is the best room for the price...such a great price! The location is excellent (inside the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort property)...just a short walk to the beach and located behind a really great beach restaurant (Finz -good lunch spot). We had a great view of the ocean and preserve area from our balcony. Property grounds are maintained very well. Building and elevators are in excellent condition. Parking is not an issue and is safe and well lit. We are the type of travelers that are only in our room to sleep, so this location works well for us for easy access to all activities. (good water pressure, comfortable bed, clean, smells fresh, free ice machines in building, etc.) Thanks Marcella!

  I stayed at this unit for four nights and it was really great. Unit is very clean and ready to use. Luau is very close to beach so I can fully enjoyed it. The owner (Marcella) is very easy to deal with. If I have a chance to visit Destin again, I will definitely stay here!

  I had a conference at the Hilton Sandestin and Luau is the perfect building to stay at if you have a meeting at the Hilton but don't want to pay the high prices. Luau is situated less than 100 yards away from the Hilton and this unit had wonderful views down the coast. Stayed for 3 nights for the cost of one night at the Hilton this summer, and the room at Luau was very spacious. Marcella, was very easy to work with and I just loved the keyless entry. Also, loved the covered parking in the middle of the summer it is realy nice to be able to get in the car and not melt. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I would recommend any of Marcella's units to my friends.

  I just returned from a stay at this Luau studio and it was wonderful! Close to the beach and the unit is very clean. Owners were great to work with!
