  My wife and I took our daughter and her best friend to Italy for her high school graduation. Our 4 days in Cinque Terre and Villa Valentina were the highlight of our trip. We stayed in one of the two bedroom upstairs apartments. It was fresh, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. Paula met us at the train station, got us settled in, helped us plan activities, and made us feel at home. Everything we needed was provided or readily available. She is SO NICE. Angelo is a happy character. He took us for a wonderful late afternoon boat ride along the cost. They both know how to live the good life and their good nature is infectious. Paula arranged for a limo and dinner reservations at a wonderful restaurant up in the nearby hills. It was a gem tucked into the forest. Best. Food. And. Service. Ever. We used the villa's bikes to get around town, go to the beach, get to the trails and train station. We even felt comfortable letting the girls go out on their own. We felt safe, relaxed, and reinvigorated being there. Will definitely go back.

  We stayed in the Rosa apartment at Villa Valentina with our 23-year-old daughter. We were so impressed with everything. Paula and Angelo picked us up from the train station, greeted us with appetizers and Prosecco, and gave us a lovely orientation to the apartment, the property and the area that was personable and informative. There were even breakfast items left for us in the refrigerator--fresh eggs from their chickens, coffee, milk and Italian bread for toast! The apartment is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to cook our meals. What a treat it was eating "al fresco" on the lovely patio looking at the gorgeous view of the mountains. We didn't have a car and quickly realized that we didn't need one. Bikes (with locks) were provided and it was only a five-minute ride into town. We rode our bikes to the train station, locked them there and trained to the villages we explored in the Cinque Terra. I think the best part of our stay was how hospitable Paula and Angelo were. We felt cared for, special, enjoyed our stay immensely and want to go back! Thank you for a lovely end to our three-week exploration of beautiful Italia.

  Believe all the previous reviews! Every word is true! We are just hours from leaving Villa Valentina after a week's stay and are missing it already! Paula exceeds all expectations of the perfect hostess and innkeeper! Everything has been thought out and you will want for nothing while you stay in this Eden. The sweet smelling, soft bed was so inviting after weeks of sleeping on Italian slabs. But who wants to sleep with so much to see,do, eat, drink and smell? You will never, ever find a better place to stay in the area so don't waste your time looking at other places -Villa Valentina is pretty close to Heaven on Earth. Molto bene!!!!

  Imagine arriving at your vacation destination to find Paula in the kitchen, your kitchen, fixing a snack of warm focaccia bread, chunks of parmesan cheese, olives and uncorking a bottle of vino for your enjoyment. This is what my family and I encountered at Villa Valentina. Angelo met us as well and invited my husband for a ride in his little truck to see the town of Levanto, Italy. The following morning we were treated to fresh eggs provided by the onsite chickens. We were encouraged to use the bicycles to ride to the train station in the morning to begin our exploration of Cinque Terre. Every item in the villa is so well though out, right down to the Vietri serving dishes, the Bose stereo, the Wii, and yes, milk in the fridge! The bed was wonderful. Thank you Paula and Angelo for your personalized treatment!

  Looking for a place to decompress after a mad dash through London, Prague, Venice and Rome, we searched for a place that offered fun, sun and as much or as little to do as we desired on any given day. We found EXACTLY what we were looking for and more when we stumbled across Paula and Angelo's Villa Valentina. Fresh, clean, beautifully decorated with every modern convenience and plenty of extras. For a week we toured around on bicycles provided as part of the cost of our stay. The listing was even better than its description with the pictures spot on. What we saw in the ad was enchanting and perfectly reflected the accommodations. The additional delights were the egg bearing hens, the fresh garden of basil, mint, tomatoes and more. If you're looking for a little slice of heaven, Levanto is for you and in particular the property of Villa Valentina. The Cinque Terre is one train stop away and it's a must! Paula and her husband Angelo offer boat tours beginning in Montorosso. When you're not jumping off the side of the boat for a swim and snorkel in the ocean, you may be cliff jumping, or diving, if you prefer! Regardless of your water preference, you are wined and dined to perfection. Paula, her first language English, is only ever a phone call away and aims for your satisfaction. Restaurants abound, small and intimate, around every corner, down every little side street. The charm oozes from the rafters of the villa as well as the town. The beaches, the towns, the tours, or staying in for an evening, all calm your soul. EVERYONE needs some time in this enchanting villa. My best advice, is book early! It will be my pleasure to visit Villa Valentina again and again. Ciao!

• Beautiful Villas!

  I can't even describe words for these amazing villas. The owners are awesome and personable. We had an amazing vacation, one of the best. The villas have everything you are looking for as far as kitchen utensils, towels, dishes, etc. Everyday we had fresh eggs from the chickens and if there were tomatoes you could pick those as well. We also had use of bikes that we did use everyday to get around Levanto. It was a 5 minute bike ride to town and the beach. I would recommend these villas to anyone wanting a home away from home. Paula and Angelo thanks again for the great vacation! Hope to see you again in the future.
