My husband and 2 grown children stayed at this location. The place was cozy and beds were comfortable. Rooms are small but definitely worked. There are 2 mattresses on the floor in the loft. Loft has a short ceiling but worked for us. The screened in porch was nice and it located right on the water. From the pic we thought it was in the sand but there is no sandy areas but it is literally right at the water's edge and it was a very beautiful view! There are beaches very close by. Water sunsets were awesome every night. The weather was fantastic! The kitchen didn't have everything we needed like a can opener but they promptly brought us anything we asked for. Everyone was super friendly and we would definitely stay there again. This location is about a 2 hour drive to Key West and a 2 hour drive to Miami. Make sure you check out the small marina at dusk each night. Where the mouth of the marina meets the ocean we watched a 5' sea turtle come in and eat 2 nights in a row! There are fish cleaning stations at the mouth of the marina and the sea life definitely knows where to get a free meal. We also watched black tipped reef sharks and a nurse shark also come in and eat at the same place. There was so much sea life including crabs and lobster. It was amazing!!! We loved it!! Mantaees also regularly visit but we were not so lucky to see them. We would recommend staying here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The staff was incredible and the cottage was amazing. Our cottage was just a few STEPS away from the ocean and snorkeling! We could have stayed much longer. Thanks for the memories, I wish I could post our photos on here!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We recently rented this "cottage"...bad mistake. The pictures are pretty, the decor nice...everything is new...but this is NOT a cottage!!! It is a TRAILER!!!! IT IS NOT BEACHFRONT!!!!! We asked specifically if it was beachfront and were told it was...it is not. It has ocean views, but NO BEACHFRONT and had to drive 20 miles away to the beach. It is not on a private island...it is in an RV park!!! When I called to complain, we were told "SORRY...NO REFUNDS!!! We were sooooo dissappointed because we had been planning this trip for months and drove for 2 days to get there. We will be VERY, VERY careful next time we book a vacation.
