  This is a great place to stay and very central to most attractions. Perfect for a family of 4 with children 8 and 11. Even though it is called a studio it has plenty of room and very nice inside with comfortable furnishings. Awesome pool and hot tub. Brooke and family were very accomodating and friendly. Our kids enjoyed playing with their kids as well! Will definitely come back here and have already recommended this placed to 2 of our friends. Thank you Brooke for a wonderful stay!!!!

  The studio provided much more room than a hotel for myself and two teens. everything you could want plus a lot of special touches from Brooke and her family. Enjoyed the pool and tennis and easy access to many locations. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Very comfortable bed! Very pleased with the location, and great communication and service from the hosts. Highly recommend.

  This is an amazing place to stay. My boys 11 and 16 loved the pool and tennis court. My husband and I loved the hot tub. Brooke is the perfect hostess. She totally has a gift for making you feel welcomed and comfortable. She also made a great notebook of tourist attractions and had map quested them all. She was very helpful with whatever we needed. I would totally recommend staying in this home. It is great for all ages and is in a perfect location to all the hot spots. But still away from all the crazy traffic and city noise. We will for sure stay there again. You cannot go wrong staying here!!!

  Stayed at the Cali Retreat for two (2) weeks in June 2012. Appreciated the off street parking/comfy furniture/washer & dryer/great shower. Friendly owners and very hospitable. Was quite convenient as a daughter lives in Escondido. We kept pretty busy so didn't use all the amenities offered but we did enjoy our stay and we say "Thank-You!" Many Mahalo's ** Best Always....Bob & Linda Hawaii & Washington

  I want to take the opportunity to thank BROOKE and GARY for such a wonderful place to stay. TOP SHELF pretty much sums it up. Even with our busy schedule we made it a point to relax poolside and enjoy the sun, view and eachother. The CALI-RETREAT is truly a place to come back to time and time again.   We spent 2 months at Cali-Retreat escaping winter in the northwest. It was everything we expected and much more. The apartment is super clean, convenient, well equipped, even for a 2 month stay. We enjoyed the beautiful, quiet neighborhood that is also easily accessable to shopping and entertainment and a 24 hour Donut stand. What more could you want?! Brooke and Gary were there whenever we had a question or needed something. It was a wonderful 2 months!

  Our family stayed at the Cali Retreat back in August and had such a wonderful time! We still talk about what a great place it was - fun swimming pool and tennis court, cute, clean, well-decorated apartment, and VERY gracious and personable hosts. We will definitely be back. Thank you Brooke and Gary for sharing part of your beautiful home with our family!

  We stayed at Cali Retreat for 8 nights and had the best time. Brooke went above and beyond. We have a 4 year old and a 11 month old and when we arrived Brooke had toys, kids movies, a highchair, and the kids beds all set up and waiting for us. It was a very nice apartment and super clean. The tennis courts, pool, and spa were awesome. Brooke was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do and see. If we needed anything, she had it within a few minutes. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

  My wife and I stayed a week at the Cali-Retreat and it is a true "retreat". Gary and Brooke were very hospitable and they really thought about everything when planning the layout of this property. From the tennis courts and pool area with built-in sound system to the spacious studio with beautiful decor, they really have an oasis of tranquility. We were looking for a place to rest and relax (vacation from our vacation) and we were able to accomplish just that at the Cali-Retreat. Everyday we played tennis during the late morning and afterwards we would relaxed poolside daily allowing us to refresh and get ready for the daily grind. Thanks Brooke and Gary.

  My daughter, grand-daughter, niece, and I stayed at this property and loved it. The photos are representative of the property and the amenities are better than described. Very quiet with a beautiful view from the pool at night. The location was convenient...close to the Interstate, shopping, and the Safari Animal Park. Getting to Sea World, Legoland, and the beach was not a problem either...about 20-30 minutes at best. Brooke and Gary were very friendly and informative. Brooke even brought down some toys for my grand-daughter to play with during our stay!! I would definitely recommend the Cali Retreat..and will return as soon as I can.
