This luxurious apartment located in one of the most searched out areas of Paris, has recently undergone a complete high quality renovation. An elevator will deliver you to your top floor apartment of an early 19th century building. All of the old world charm has been kept: enormous beams, hard wood floors, dormers over the rooftops, and views of the famous “toits de Paris”; while quality kitchen appliances and modern bath and furnishings have been added. You will appreciate the calmness and comfort after you have spent the day enjoying the beauties of Paris. Located just steps away from the LOUVRE, the MUSEE DE L’ORANGERIE, which houses Monet’s water lilies, and the MUSEE d’ORSAY. It is ideally located for that morning or late afternoon walk in the TUILERIES gardens where you can also enjoy the tranquility of the fountains and the endless stream of people. Maybe you would prefer to wander in and out of the many world renowned luxury and trendy boutiques found on the famous Rue St. Honoré right outside your door. The metro station Tuileries (line1) and Pyramides (line7 and 14) are just a few minutes walk. Or if you have no particular plans, you can sit at one of the many cafés nearby and watch the world pass by ....
Along with its chic and modern European furnishings, you could not dream of a more centrally located, charming one bedroom and one bathroom apartment, completely equipped with all the conveniences of home (100 channels TV, telephone, internet, laundry needs, etc.). Its double orientation (south and west) and the bay window in the ceiling of the bedroom provides very nice light.
The living space is nearly 41m2 / 442sqft (total space 47m2 / 506sqft), it is composed of a living room with a corner dining area and an open kitchen, a large bathroom with a bathtub, a bedroom that opens on to the living room, a loft area which is accessed by a stairway. The bedroom offers a choice of a large bed (180x200cm) or 2 twin beds (90x200cm). The romantic feel of nestling under a soft duvet counting the stars passing by the skylight over your heads (but nevertheless equipped like an electric store). In the living room, there is a queen-size sofa bed. With its limited ceiling height (4’7”) the loft is particularly inviting for children. It is furnished with 2 twin beds or put together for one large bed. This is an apartment for a family and friends who want to have fun, sharing their meals in a convivial and warm atmosphere. The night, the guests can separate to their own bedrooms, the living room or in the loft to enjoy their own time. The large open room is perfect for sharing the memories of the day and the plans for the next day while enjoying a tasty French wine and dinner. It is ideal for 2-4 persons, but could accommodate up to 6 persons.

This apartment is in the CENTER of Paris. You can appreciate ALL of Paris when you are here; walking in any direction will afford you a memorable day and convenience to all the major sites in Paris. The metro and bus is so simple to use, and they are right around each corner. The Rue St. Honoré is very entertaining with all of its famous shops, you will find a nice gift for everyone on your list or just for yourself!

Stayed for 10 nights and it was a perfect vacation. Apartment is quiet, nicely located, and had everything we needed. The apartment is in a very safe neighborhood, so there is no issue with arriving late at night or even late window shopping. We were out most of the day and it was nice to return to our private space at night. Patrick is extremely nice and took time to explain in detail the functioning of every piece of equipment and close by groceries and restaurants. He even surprised us with a bottle of wine and some treats. The apartment was very clean and updated. Nice bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and nice skylight in the bedroom ceiling that i purposely left open so the sun will wake me up early morning. The free wifi and free calls to USA and Canada are a great asset. The apartment is located in a very nice street with high end shopping and a bakery just across the street. Recommend the brioche!! A tourism information center is close by, as well as bus and metro stops. Tip, download the app "Hop Stop". It lets you manage the transportation system better than a local, showing you exactly what to take to go from attraction A, to B, to C at very low cost. Buy a booklet of metro + cards, which are also taken on the bus. The bus network is fantastic!! The opera Palais Garnier is less than 10 minutes walk. Reserve way ahead of time. The Louvre and Tulleries park are 5 minutes walk. We even walked from the apartment through champs elysees to the arc du triumph with a 9 year old with no complains. We even went to Mt St Michel for a day trip like the locals would do, TGV from montparnasse to rennes and shuttle bus from there. We were 5 hours on the Mount. In summary, we highly recommend the apartment. This was a lifetime experience for us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The loft was on the 6th floor but thankfully with a tiny lift which helped with all the suitcases and elderly parents. Patrick kindly helped us with all the suitcases for our party of 6 and reassured us that we hadn't gone overboard at all!! The location can't be faulted. Right near the Louvre, within walking distance to most major sights and near shops. The handbook which Patrick furnished the apartment with had all the information we needed. The loft is tiny as can be expected for so central a location but it's very clean and well equipped so cooking is no problems. And the free international phone was a bonus for calling home. Overall, a really really lovely stay. We can't recommend it enough.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This apartment was in a perfect location for a family visit. The tulieres gardens are across the street and you can even watch the light show of the eiffel tower from there. The proximity to metro, bikes, and buses is excellent as well as grocery stores and great cafes and shopping. It is also very safe and comfortable. Do not look anywhere else!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We agree with the two previous reviews. The apartment for our family of five worked out very well. Description and photos are accurate. The location is excellent, very close to two metros and easy walking access to the Louvre and beyond. While the apartment is small for US standards, it worked just fine for us, with boy (14) and girl (11) in the loft, boy (17) in living room foldout and us in the master. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Patrick is truly a professional....cares about his guests and the apartment's care. Helped us with local amenities, restaurant recommendations, etc. As with any one-bathroom unit, bathroom times must be worked out, but that's not a fault of this unit. In fact, the spacious bathroom is modern and includes a clothes washer. Patrick, merci beaucoup for your help, and we highly recommend this unit to all who might consider staying in Arrondissement 1 in Paris!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of 4 stayed in this quaint apartment and it was perfectly suited for our needs. It truly is in the heart of Paris and just around the corner from the Louvre and Tuileries gardens. We loved sitting in the beauty of the gardens watching our 10 and 11 year old boys race up and down pathways. Patrick was wonderful and very patient with us checking in, as we were bleary eyed from the overnight flight from the states. He went above and beyond when we realized my son had left his jacket in the Paris Shuttle van on our way to the apartment. He personally contacted the driver for us and even delivered the jacket to us the next day! He was very kind and the apartment is exactly as pictured - small by American standards, but very comfortable and quaint. We enjoyed looking up at the stars at night through the skylights. The apartment is on the 6th floor, so a bit of a hike up, but there is a small lift if you prefer that. Patrick was a pleasure to deal with and the apartment is in a perfect location. We would not hesitate to recommend it and hope to return one day again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I recently took my family to Paris for a quick visit. The children are 22, 17 and 7. The apartment was perfect. Just around the corner from the Louvre. Patrick has really thought through how to maximize his space. We never felt cramped for room even with all of our luggage. The loft acted as an attraction for our youngest and a retreat for the oldest. The skylighst in the bedroom and loft fill the space with light. The grocery store is three blocks away and a fantastic wine shop and bakery are in the block. My wife found shopping on Rue Honore a treat. My biggest apprehension was finding the owner, getting the key and handling the transaction. Patrick was magnificent. I am sure it is because he was born in Texas! I have never written a review. I do hope that my families' experience spurs you to try out this wonderful retreat.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
