Our 1800 sq ft 3 BR, 2 and half bath HOUSE (not a condo or townhome)...your perfect vacation get away. Decorated in a personal mountain theme throughout, you will feel right at home.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware and dining ware to cook a Thanksgiving feast, amid the granite countertops, and state of the art appliances.
Enjoy barbequing on the gas grill on the top deck. You’ll love the spaciousness of our interiors, open floor plans, vaulted wood ceilings, hot tub, and gas fireplace.
In the summer months, you’ll especially enjoy relaxing on our two back decks, playing lawn games, horseshoes in the pits, enjoying the sand volleyball court, or sitting amongst the trees reading your favorite book.
The yard has a view of the beautiful landscape, tall pines of the Sierras.
There is extra parking to accommodate your boat trailer or off road vehicles, in addition to a double driveway.

During the winter season we have a SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE for the driveway.
Taxes of 10% are required on all rentals and $175 departure cleaning fees. Three-night minimum stay required on all holiday weekends. Holiday rate includes any week with: New Years / MLK / Presidents / Easter / Memorial / July4th / Labor / Thanksgiving / Christmas / Special Events (contact us for more information).
No Garage access or Master Bedroom Closet access. (plenty of storage in chester drawers and front closet) Other Bedrooms DO have closet access and chester drawers. Hair Dryers, shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided, along with Coffee and assorted Teas.
Please notify in Advance if you have toddlers, since we do have SAFETY GATES & High Chair property mgr will leave out.

This was a very wonderful vacation for our sons 18th birthday and the house far exceeded the description and pictures. The décor was rustic yet modern and comfortable. We planned a ski weekend for our sons 18th birthday and 3 of his friends. They skied at Northstar and Sugar Bowl (which we enjoyed Sugar Bowl so much more), the house was so closely located to both that within 10 - 15 minutes we were there. The house was wonderful with us upstairs in the master suite and kids downstairs with their own bathroom and the 1/2 bath was much needed. The location only 5 minutes to down town Truckee we were able to go out one evening for a wonderful dinner at Bar of America. I would recommend the house to everyone and we are already talking about coming again next year. You really do not need to take a "thing" as the house had everything you could possibly want and more, clothes and food is all you need. Thank you Laurie and Eric for sharing your wonderful home with us to make a life time memory for our family and being available all the time for our questions. Also thank you to your neighbors for allowing us to play with their black lab outside in the snow, as we missed our labs at home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

This is a great rental and Laurie is extremely nice and easy to reach in case you would have any questions (as we did). The Cabin is very clean with all the appliances you could possibly need. We would certainly stay here again, we just loved it. It exceeded our expectations. The cabin/house was fantastic! Exactly as advertised in the listing. Extremely clean and well kept with an enormous hot tub and sand volleyball/badminton court on the side of the house. We really could not have asked for more. Everything went extremely smooth with the rental and the property owners. It was centrally located in Truckee, not too far from downtown but not close to the freeway. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and we will be renting it again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Truckee. The house is so comfortable. When you walk through the door you realize you hit the jackpot! This place had an extensize DVD collection, great kitchen to cook in, huge hottub, great living space and beauty all around inside and out. Thanks for opening up your place to us. This house is in excellent shape with very nice amenities (hot tub, granite kitchen) and VERY comfortable beds. Good area for kids to play in the snow and close to the major ski resorts. Plus, the owner is very nice and accommodating.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. It was the perfect Tahoe retreat to get away from it all. Would definitely rent this place again. You can't beat the 10 minute drive to Northstar.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

After having to cancel another rental property due to last-minute and indefinite evacuations in the area (gas leaks), Laurie saved our trip. I was calling every available property in a panic and she graciously agreed to booking us at the last minute. She even gave us reduced-price passes to a local ski resort (unfortunately, we were not able to use them, so we left them behind). The home was very comfortable with all the modern conveniences one might want from a rental property. We enjoyed several of the movies provided and spent the last evening soaking in the heavenly spa. This home is fantastic! Makes you feel like you are in your own home. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, every amenity you could ask for, great hot tub (that is maintained by the owners so always ready for your use), nice, comfortable bedrooms, great location (minutes from downtown Truckee), wonderful, helpful owners.
