  WE CAME TO CHICAGO FOR MY HUSBAND'S SURGERY AT NEARBY RUSH MEDICAL CENTER SO WE WANTED TO STAY NEAR THE HOSPITAL FOR HIS RECOVERY. BECAUSE OF THE LENGTH OF OUR STAY, WE ENDED UP IN BOTH THE DOWNSTAIRS AND UPSTAIRS APTS. WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH THE WAY EVERYTHING TURNED OUT. FIRST, BOTH APTS ARE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND DECORATED WITH NICE TOUCHES. THE LOCATION IN LITTLE ITALY, WE BELIEVE, IS ONE OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO, WITH RESTAURANTS, PARKS, THE BLUE LINE, AND RUSH HOSPITAL WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE. TAXIS ARE EASY TO WAVE DOWN AND DOWNTOWN IS SO CLOSE. THE OWNERS ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING AND COMMUNICATIVE. IT IS CLEAR THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR PROPERTIES AND REALLY CARE THAT GUESTS WHO STAY THERE HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE. WE WILL CERTAINLY RETURN TO CASA FOR OUR NEXT CHICAGO TRIP!

  This is an absolutely perfect place to stay. Fine restaurants in easy walking distance and so near mass transit that no car needed, though if you have a vehicle parking ample. Very clean and well maintained. Tracy and Raphael made everything easy, answered all questions and gave us great suggestions for dining. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a day of exploring. I will always check availability here on subsequent trips to Chicago and probably would plan my trip to make sure I could stay here.

  Stayed in the upstairs property. Very clean, comfortable accommodations. Close to subway, so easy commute to downtown. Great area restaurants. Owners went out of their way to be helpful regarding info about sightseeing, shopping, transportation and restaurants. They were easy to reach and answered promptly. Would stay there again. Thanks.

  My husband and I visited The Casa for our honeymoon and had a great time. The owners were very nice and were available through a phone call whenever we needed them. The condo itself was very clean, homey, and relaxing. The Casa is a perfect place to go for a trip to Chicago. Its location is set perfect so that its close to all the attractions, yet far enough away it cuts out some of that city noise. The jacuzzi was the cherry on top to this condo. We will definately be staying at the casa for our next trip to Chicago!

  Our weekend at La Casa was absolutely perfect. The building was quiet, quaint and the beds extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the area as it was full of nice places to eat and drink and it was safe with lots of people out enjoying the summer in Chicago. I would definitley recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet weekend to enjoy all Chicago has to offer. Tracy and Raphael left all the information we needed to enjoy our stay and best of all provided parking validation for hastle free parking! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

  The Casa is an amazing apartment - beautiful, spotless, charming, furnished with style, and perfect for our stay in every way. We come to Chicago once a year, traveling from overseas. Last year, in December (2010), we stayed at The Casa with our 9-month old baby girl. The owners were wonderful - even brought us some baby toys. Getting over the jetlag with a baby is no fun, but The Casa was the perfect place for us to chill, unwind, slowly ease into the new time zone (midnight play and daytime naps for all involved). It was as nice as being home. This year we were very sad to learn that the place was already booked during our trip to Chicago. Wherever we stay, I am sure we'll wish we were at The Casa. Next year we'll make sure to book in advance. We used to live in this neighborhood in Chicago and loved it. There are great restaurants on Taylor street - from Thai to Italian to Japanese. Little Italy makes a good, laid back base for exploring Chicago.

  We rented this condo so that we could be close to the church and reception for our son's wedding. We were so lucky to find La Casa. This condo had it all and was very reasonably priced. Beautifully rehabbed; impeccably clean; safe charming neighborhood; on street parking; close to everything and very quiet. Tracy and Raphael were egreat, nice, helpful, responsive. Raphael was there to meet us, show us around and give us the key right when we arrived. This is a large duplex, with kitchen, living room, dining room, full bath on main floor and the master, hot tub, shower, storage on lower level. It had beautiful hardwood floors, brick walls, a fireplace, and was beautifully decorated. Very comfortable king size bed. Highly recommend.

  My family of four spent a week in June in Little Italy. The area is nice and friendly. Close to everything. The rental was as advertised and more. It had everything we needed, and the sauna tub was a nice extra. I would go back on my next visit to Chicago, and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Windy City. We took a cross country train trip and were hours late. The owners were very accomodating. We forgot to pack soap and shampoo, and the owner was able to help us out. We really appreciated that ! Give this listing a try, you will enjoy........T.O. Calif.

  We loved "The Casa"! Very low rates for a very "high rent" place. Gracious accommodations and lots of room. Wood floors are lovely and the spa was wonderful. Quiet and peaceful yet close to the "L". Little Italy is a beautiful and safe location. Loved the tree lined streets and nearby park. Tracy was an accommodating host. We will be back!
