  What a GREAT vacation! This charming home was the perfect Morro Bay vacation getaway. The neighborhood has an awesome feel to it...hardly any traffic and kid-aware drivers. Our kids brought their scooters and helmets...we felt comfortable letting them ride up and down our corner. The beach is literally a 2-minute walk. Parking is no issue whatsoever. The home has a welcoming approach. You open a gate and enter a small courtyard on your way to the front door. The courtyard allowed us to spread out on the lawn furniture and read a book in the sun, sheltered from the wind when it blew in the afternoon. Also a good place to stow your kids' toys and beach tools. The home was easy to find and immaculately clean upon arrival. It's appointed with everything we need. The furniture and beds are all very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for all of us to shower in the morning. Heating worked great when we needed it. Kitchen has all the utensils and cookware required. There's a very nice BBQ in the back yard and we got plenty of use out of it. One of the bedrooms has a table with a television we could use for the Wii or to put movies on for the kids when Mom and Dad wanted some adult time. High-speed Internet came in handy for looking up things to do around Morro Bay. The dining room table seats 6 comfortably. The open floor plan has a nice flow. All-in-all we had a really great time at this home. You definitely won't go wrong if you pick this place.

  We stayed at this house while visiting my daughter at Cal Poly. The house was exactly as advertised. There were 6 of us, and the house was very confortable. It was clean, convenient, the kitchen was well stocked, it is close to the beach - perfect for our needs. We would definately stay again!

  We stayed for 5 days and had a good time. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. We have 2 young children and it was pretty child friendly. Just a few things that needed to be moved around. Back yard was nice but we actually didn't use it as much as we thought since we were out doing things most days. It also did not have tables/chairs outside. I mentioned this already and PM said they would talk to owner. I thought that was very nice. So, even though there was nothing out back, the front patio area was great. It really was wonderful to sit out there and relax (when kids were asleep). Pretty quiet neighborhood also. Loved the bathroom towels as well. Property management was great and easy to work with. Very helpful.

  This has been our 12th summer staying at the Formosa home. Three generations enjoy spending time together in this cozy home. It is a very short walking distance to the beach for a walk along the shore with a beautiful view of the rock. We can quickly drive to downtown Morro Bay, Cayucos or San Luis for shopping or a good meal. It is a nice quiet neighborhood that we hope to enjoy staying in for many more years.

  My wife and I have stayed there once or twice a year for the past 10 years because we love it so much. Only a short walk to the beach, the location is great. We've been there in various months, and even when it's windy and chilly, the little courtyard always seems to be warm and sunny. We've spent many hours reading and talking. On occasion we've invited our grown children and other couples, and we've had as many as six people staying quite comfortably. The owners obviously care about the property and the guests, because there's a very personal feeling to the house--its paintings, the decor, and how well the house is taken care of. It's clean, the kitchen has everything we need to cook or serve meals, the bathrooms are bright and spotless, the master bedroom is quite large, and the other rooms are fine. Sometimes we write in the guest book and often when we visit read what other people have written. It seems like a lot of folks come back to this same house year after year, like we do. We often ride bicycles from there to our favorite restaurant (Taco Temple), Morro Rock along the beach, into town, and to Northpoint, which has a fantastic view of the beach and rock. Frankly, when we retire, we'd like to move to Morro Bay, in a house like this one, in this same neighborhood. In the meantime, we're going to keep coming back!
