This location offers the real North Woods experience. We have deer walking through our property daily, if you are lucky, you may see a wandering bear, there are numerous nesting eagle pairs on our Lake and in front of our house. You will hear the call of the loons communicating nightly.
We love the variety of things to do balanced with privacy and tranquility that this area offers. Golf or go to the movies, there's horseback riding, and a go-cart track along with many shops and restaurants nearby. Most of all, love to get up and watch the sunrise over the lake while having coffee on the patio/dock. After a day of fishing or any of the other activities, enjoy cocktails on the dock and catch the sunset.

The house is so much more than the pictures reveal! We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived! We had a wonderful vacation and are hoping to book again for this summer! The caretakers are so friendly and pleasant! Thank you!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks so very much for your review. Kurt and I are constant remodelers , weve made some wonderful changes I'm sure your children would love. Surround sound, 65inch plazma TV that comes with 3d glasses, new couch all upstairs. re-tiled the bath upstairs. We also up graded our travel trailor. so we are in the woods with a wonderful travel trailor.

Great owners who really ensure you enjoy your stay. It's a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. The water is beautiful and offers great fishing. The accommodations are perfect for a small family and the amenities can't be beat. The neighborhood is safe and is minutes from dining and shops. Something for everyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

About the owner: Kurt is the builder/contractor, Lynn is the local nurse. We currently act as live-in care-takers for an elderly acquaintance in the area. We also act as rental agents for several of our neighbors on Lac Vieux Desert and have been doing so for 15 years.
