We stayed at this cottage for our friend's wedding last weekend and we couldn't have been more happy! From the time we called the owner to inquire about the cottage, we received nothing but courteous, honest, and helpful tips and answered my endless list of questions. Thus, we were not surprised that when we showed up, we were greeted with a lovely welcoming card, a bottle of wine, and 2 wine glasses. (Also very important, is that we got a prompt return of our full security deposit. We returned on Monday afternoon and the check was in our mailbox by Saturday!) Staying at the Cisco cottage proved to be anything but welcoming, a true sense of 'home' away from home. The owners paid close attention to the minor, yet important, details of their home. Details that included lovely, scented basil hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen, tissue boxes all over the home, clean beach towels in every closet, linens/throws, Tide detergent (for washing our toddlers' dirty clothes), and the list goes on. More important, their home is located in a safe location in Monomoy. There are multiple Wave stops within a 5-minute walking from their home. And the walking/bike path (which is newly paved) is literally right outside their cottage door. We had 2 little ones and we found it to be VERY convenient. One day we rented bikes and we were able to park all 4 bikes and the burley cub in their front yard. They also have a driveway to park 1 car if needed. On the same day, we rode to the market, bought a seafood feast and brought it back to enjoy on their backyard patio (there's a patio table with 6 chairs, and there are more chairs from the kichen should you need more). As for the living space, it was beyond spacious. We had 4 adults and 2 little ones and we only occupied the 2 bedrooms downstairs. The loft was left unused and the view from that window was breathtaking. Thank so much for sharing your lovely home with us during a VERY important event in our lives. More importantly, thank you for making it memorable and stress-free!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful stay in Cisco Cottage & the proximity to town was a real plus for Nantucket first-timers! The wine & chips were a nice welcoming touch, everything was so well maintained and the furnishings were so cosy we felt at home right away. We loved the Nantucket beach home atmosphere! The bedrooms were wonderful, comfy beds & pillows and they looked inviting. Everything around the cottage was just the way you would like as in your own home, clean & of good quality, especially the kitchen, bathrooms & washer/dryer. It's so important, even when you're on holiday! It was the perfect cottage for our Cape holiday.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful holiday weekend stay in this cottage. It's clean and cozy...a perfect place to relax after biking around the island. Our daughter loved the loft and bunk beds -- it was a challenge keeping her out of the house as she wanted to stay in most of the time and enjoy her space :). The owners were very helpful and pleasant to work with. A complimentary bottle of wine as we arrived was really a nice welcome :)! We'll definitely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.

I stayed at Cisco Cottage last weekend for a wedding, and my friends and I were very happy with the cottage! Its a short ($10-15) taxi ride from Town, so its very convenient, yet you have some space and a yard. The cottage is very well kept, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the owners had taken the care to leave some wine and snacks for us. The cottage is competitively priced, and provided flexibility for us, as we were only able to stay in Nantucket for 3 nights. I look forward to staying at the cottage again very soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

It was our first time to Nantucket, so deciding on a place to stay was a bit of a shot in the dark. Upon arriving, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The Cisco cottage was charming, and deceptively big with all the amenities you want while on vacation. Not too far from town, but far enough to be completely removed from the hustle and bustle. It comfortably slept 6 people and had plenty of hang out space. The yard is great for some outside games, especially croquet (they have a set in the loft). Overall, the Cisco cottage is a great place and made our first trip to Nantucket a very memorable one.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This is the perfect cottage for a weekend getaway with friends to explore Nantucket. The cottage is bigger and even cozier than the pictures suggest. I stayed with 3 young couples over the figawi weekend and this cottage provided all the comforts of home. We enjoyed playing croquet in the front yard and BBQing in the side yard. It was very convenient to get to town without a car. I would recommend visiting the Cisco Brewery which is a short ride away. The owners were extremely nice and accomodating. We barely wanted to leave the house. We will definitely return!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
