"Spikes Ski Place" is a freshly updated, oversized (1700 square feet), non-smoking unit and is located just steps from the “Super B” high speed, six person lift. The "Super B" will take you up 2400 vertical feet in just 7 minutes. The extra big floor plan provides four master bedrooms and lots of space to relax after enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors.
Your entertainment center has a large screen TV with stereo, VCR, CD, DVD, XM satellite radio and wireless high speed internet access. Enjoy the stunning views of the 10 mile range from you large private rooftop deck or watch skiers challenge the slopes from your living room window or private balcony.
Each room enjoys its own temperature control and comfortable hydronic heat. The fire logs are provided for your large stone, wood burning fire place.
You’ll have lots of storage space for your gear, both in the unit and in the heated garage. A large capacity front load washer and dryer are included in the unit. A Swedish style sauna is literally right outside your door and there is an oversize Jacuzzi with a heated deck and locker room on the property.
Centrally located in the East Village, you’re close to fine dining, entertainment and numerous shops. Don’t miss the number one après ski entertainer in North America, Moe Dixon, right next door in JJ’s Restaurant.
The free Summit Stage and Copper Shuttle are right out front to connect you with all the fun that Copper Mountain and Summit County have to offer.
If you prefer the summer months, the Copper Creek golf course is just steps from the unit. You’re also close to hiking, biking, fishing and lots of other fun activities. If you haven’t been to Summit County in the summer, you really should try it!

Bedroom One - Spacious upstairs bedroom features high vaulted, tongue and groove wood ceiling and beam construction. Access to large private rooftop deck with stunning views. Two rustic log queen beds. Built in closet/wall unit. Large TV with cable and VCR. Full size dresser. Private bathroom with heated slate tile floor, solid surface double sink and Jacuzzi tub.
Bedroom Two - The bunkroom also features high vaulted, tongue and groove wood ceilings. It will accommodate lots of people in a queen bed and twin bunk beds and a loft with full size futon. Both beds have under bed dressers. This room has a private bath with Jacuzzi tub and heated slate tile floor. There is a TV with built in VCR in the loft and a TV with a VCR/DVD in the main bedroom. There is also a large entryway closet.
Bedroom Three - This downstairs bedroom has a private full bath, closet, full dresser, two night stands and king size bed with pillow top mattress. The room has a flat screen TV with cable and VCR.
Bedroom Four - This bedroom is similarly equipped with a king bed, two night stands, full dresser, and oversize closet. A private full bath is also included. It has a large TV with cable and VCR/DVD as well.
* All bedrooms have humidifiers and hair dryers. There is also a portable crib, high chair, folding card table and folding chairs.

We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend with three families to relax at the end of the summer. This was the ideal place to spend the weekend. We had enough space for the thirteen people that stayed here and we had a ball. The large deck was where we spent the late afternoons laughing and relaxing and enjoying a coctail while the kids told us of their exploits riding mountain bikes down the mountain. We walked into Center Village to enjoy a concert and to do some shopping. Summer or winter, this is the perfect place to get your group together and have some fun. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to be in Copper. Scott and Steph are the perfect landlords and will do anything to make sure that your stay is all that you want to it to be.

Our group of 12 included 6 from Colorado, 5 from Florida and and 1 from Arizona. This was a great place for our group. The comments I heard from the gourp was what a great location so close to the Super B lift and the 4 individual bedrooms and baths that gave you the privicy when you needed it. The other great attribute was the large kitchen table that seated all 12 of us for dinner and to play games at. We would not hesitate to stay here again.The owners were great to work with during our booking process. I would recommend this unit to any larger group.

We stayed at this condo for ten nights and had a great time! There were four father/son combos and one father/mother/son combo. There was plenty of common space and the bedrooms gave us extra space if we needed peace and quiet! We had great meals around the large dining room table. Access to the bus was easy! We took advantage of the reduced rates at the fitness center on multiple days. We had one technical glitch with a plugged toilet and someone was there within five minutes of our call to assist. As the coordinator of this multi-family event, I appreciated the e-mail interactions I had with the owners in advance of our trip!

Spikes Ski Place was a great setup for our 3 familes. Each bedroom accomodated a family and the kids loved the 4th bedroom. The loft was a total hit. The ski in/ski out was a little too challenging for the youngest in our bunch, but perfect for everyone else. The condo was clean, well stocked and just like it was described in the listing. I would definately stay here again or recommend it to a friend. Thanks very much!

My crew and I spent the 3rd weekend of March at Spike's and had a wonderful time! The kitchen was well stocked and well appointed. We cooked in each night and had no issues. The condo was a little tight for 10 grown men an being built in the 70's (I guess) was not exactly soundproof. However we were very satisfied with the accommodations and it was VERY close to the slopes. The only problem we had was with working some of the humidifiers.

We stayed in this property in 2008. I am just now writing a review for all of the condos we have stayed in because I realize how important it is in searching for the perfect property. The owners of this property were quick with responses to any and everything. This was by far our favorite place to stay at Copper. It was very comfortable with our very large group. The pictures do not do this property justice, it is updated and very nice. It is very close to the super B and East Village entertainment and shopping. The rest of the villages are just a short bus ride away. The bedrooms are large and having your own bathroom was a plus for everyone in our party. I can't say enough good things about this property. We will definitely return.

This unit was the perfect fit for my extended family to gather in one condo for an incredible week including 30" of fresh powder during our stay. Loved everything about the condo and all members of the family from 4yr's of age to 60yr's of age enjoyed Moe Dixon at JJ's Tavern right across the street. Convenient to East Village lift and bus stop to Center Village and Union Creek as well. It was nice to hear all the accolades from family members thanking me for selecting this condo. The owners were great to work with in all aspects...great people!

Congratulations to Scott and Stephanie -- owners of this property! We have stayed at many Copper Mountain units but this one definitely tops them all for a large group. An e-mail with a question to Scott and Stephanie received an immediate response and the follow-up phone call from Scott showed how much they cared about their guests. We had 10 adults staying for five nights and everyone enjoyed the "comforts of home". Thank you so much for sharing your property with us!

We have just enjoyed 8 nights at Spike's Ski Place. There was 12 of us in our party - 2 families, and we couldn't have been more comfortable. All four bedroom's had their own bathroom and tv so if we needed to we could get away but the lounge dining area was also very comfortable when we were all together. If anything the photos do not do the property justice! The location of the condo was very convenient, so close to the Super Bee and also the shuttle bus to centre village and Frisco. We were also conveniently located to ski hire and lift tickets. We would all definitely recommend staying at this property and would hope to return one day.

Spike's Place is the perfect place for a big family or large group of people! We had 12 people staying there ranging from age 75 down to 6, and we were all comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you could think of needing. We loved the big dining table especially because we could all sit around for meals together. The location is fantastic for walking to the chair lift and the bus stop is also close to get you around Copper. The accommodations and decor are wonderful, and it truly feels like a mountain retreat. Scott and Stephanie are great to work with and are always quick to respond.
