We are a group of 10 senior guys who ski together every year. Spikes place suited us quite well, it is especially convienient to the lifts, and the ticket window in the AM. The condo itself is good sized, maybe slightly tight in the one room with a queen and bunk beds for three guys.. The condo is well equipped in the kitchen,, seats 10 at the dining table,, and is quite comfortable. It is very quiet, which we all enjoyed when sleeping. Restaurants and shops are only steps away. We would ride the very quick Super Bee lift in the AM and you can get almost anywhere on the mountain from there with only one lift ride.Essentially no lift lines there all week, maybe 5 minutes on weekend days when the Resort gets lots of Denver skiers. We went to Beaver Creek on Sunday to avoid the busy times, and that worked well if you can tolerate the lift prices there. Our group was very pleased with the whole week at Spikes, and recommend it to any mid size group.

We have traveling as a group for the last 10 years and hit most of the top fifty resorts in North America. Of all the places we have stayed, Spikes Ski Place, by far offered us the most convenient and reasonable priced location to ski the Summit County area of Colorado. We had nine guys stay in the unit with everyone getting his own bed. The place was clean and easy to get in and out of. The sauna and hot tub meet everyone’s expectations. The owner even called to see how things were after our stay. Never had others do that. Great Place, Great Location, Great Owners.

Our group of 12 included 6 from Colorado, 5 from Florida and and 1 from Arizona. This was a great place for our group. The comments I heard from the gourp was what a great location so close to the Super B lift and the 4 individual bedrooms and baths that gave you the privicy when you needed it. The other great attribute was the large kitchen table that seated all 12 of us for dinner and to play games at. We would not hesitate to stay here again.The owners were great to work with during our booking process. I would recommend this unit to any larger group.

We stayed at this condo for ten nights and had a great time! There were four father/son combos and one father/mother/son combo. There was plenty of common space and the bedrooms gave us extra space if we needed peace and quiet! We had great meals around the large dining room table. Access to the bus was easy! We took advantage of the reduced rates at the fitness center on multiple days. We had one technical glitch with a plugged toilet and someone was there within five minutes of our call to assist. As the coordinator of this multi-family event, I appreciated the e-mail interactions I had with the owners in advance of our trip!

Spikes Ski Place was a great setup for our 3 familes. Each bedroom accomodated a family and the kids loved the 4th bedroom. The loft was a total hit. The ski in/ski out was a little too challenging for the youngest in our bunch, but perfect for everyone else. The condo was clean, well stocked and just like it was described in the listing. I would definately stay here again or recommend it to a friend. Thanks very much!

My crew and I spent the 3rd weekend of March at Spike's and had a wonderful time! The kitchen was well stocked and well appointed. We cooked in each night and had no issues. The condo was a little tight for 10 grown men an being built in the 70's (I guess) was not exactly soundproof. However we were very satisfied with the accommodations and it was VERY close to the slopes. The only problem we had was with working some of the humidifiers.

We stayed in this property in 2008. I am just now writing a review for all of the condos we have stayed in because I realize how important it is in searching for the perfect property. The owners of this property were quick with responses to any and everything. This was by far our favorite place to stay at Copper. It was very comfortable with our very large group. The pictures do not do this property justice, it is updated and very nice. It is very close to the super B and East Village entertainment and shopping. The rest of the villages are just a short bus ride away. The bedrooms are large and having your own bathroom was a plus for everyone in our party. I can't say enough good things about this property. We will definitely return.

We have just enjoyed 8 nights at Spike's Ski Place. There was 12 of us in our party - 2 families, and we couldn't have been more comfortable. All four bedroom's had their own bathroom and tv so if we needed to we could get away but the lounge dining area was also very comfortable when we were all together. If anything the photos do not do the property justice! The location of the condo was very convenient, so close to the Super Bee and also the shuttle bus to centre village and Frisco. We were also conveniently located to ski hire and lift tickets. We would all definitely recommend staying at this property and would hope to return one day.

Congratulations to Scott and Stephanie -- owners of this property! We have stayed at many Copper Mountain units but this one definitely tops them all for a large group. An e-mail with a question to Scott and Stephanie received an immediate response and the follow-up phone call from Scott showed how much they cared about their guests. This unit was the perfect fit for my extended family to gather in one condo for an incredible week including 30" of fresh powder during our stay. Loved everything about the condo and all members of the family from 4yr's of age to 60yr's of age enjoyed Moe Dixon at JJ's Tavern right across the street. Convenient to East Village lift and bus stop to Center Village and Union Creek as well. It was nice to hear all the accolades from family members thanking me for selecting this condo. Spike's Place is the perfect place for a big family or large group of people! We had 12 people staying there ranging from age 75 down to 6, and we were all comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you could think of needing. We loved the big dining table especially because we could all sit around for meals together. The location is fantastic for walking to the chair lift and the bus stop is also close to get you around Copper. The accommodations and decor are wonderful, and it truly feels like a mountain retreat. Scott and Stephanie are great to work with and are always quick to respond.

We were surprised at the privacy this unit offers. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms and the living room/dining is are quite comfortable. All the beds were very comfortable. Unit was very clean and so easy to make yourself feel at home. Homeowners gave lots of helpful information and check-in/check-out was extremely easy. Everyone in our group had a great time and didn't want to go home. Even though it was summer, there were a lot of activities and very kid friendly area. We will plan to go again in the winter for skiing.

7 members of our family, ages 13-66, called this condo "home' during a spring break, ski week. We rent once or twice a year to ski at various locations and in various accommodations. Spikes Ski Pace is the all around best value for the money. It felt spacious with 4 separated private large bedrooms. Great location to catch the lift and shuttle and couple restaurants. We've NEVER encountered such a well stocked kitchen. Hopefully, we look forward to calling this "home" next ski season for several nights.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here during our Spring Break of March 2010. All week I meant to write a note in the guest book and then before I knew it it was time to leave. This condo was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was so well equiped. We never wanted for anything. The walk to the lift was nothing. We could almost ski right into the condo for lunch. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. I would highly recommend this condo and if I ever go back to Copper Mountain I would stay there again.

What an awesome vacation destination!! This is our family's 1 repeater vacation each year. Colorado is wonderful, and this condo is fabulous! There were so many updates this yr. So fun! We have 5 children, and there are so many bedrooms that there is still room to invite another family to ski, play and just enjoy the splendors of the area. With so many activities to choose from (even outside of the perfect Colo. snow) the only downfall is that we only had a week's vacation time to spend there! This condo is fantastic for so many reasons, and we've rented it our last 4 annual ski trips. Has a homey, relaxing feeling. Plenty of space for a large group so you can spread out. Big factor: very close to the chair lift. Cristy Sports is close if you need to rent skis. Owners are high on customer service.

Spike's provided a convenient, cost-effective place for two families of four to enjoy a great week. After day 1, we quickly promoted ourselves "Blue Competent" status in order to use the Super Bee lift exclusively. Skid Road is a piece of cake and being able to avoid the crowds in Center Village (American Eagle and American Flyer lifts) was a huge benefit to staying in East Village. By the end of the week, and quads burning, we were shushing home on Rosi's Run. Great mountain, great shops and restaurants, and a great place to stay at Spikes.

Whenever you schedule a late season ski trip, you wonder if the "snow gods" will be generous. We were not disappointed. This is the second time we have stayed at Scott and Steph's place. Both times for spring skiing. This year we stayed from April 5 and left on the last day Copper Mtn was open (April 12). It snowed everyday except one which made for great skiing conditions for everyone in our party. The unit handled the demands of three families very easily. There were 7 adults and 5 children of various ages. While we spent nearly every possible moment on the slopes (being from Florida, we don't get to play in the snow very often), the unit's configuration of bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, and common areas made the stay perfect for our needs. We had one maintenance issue that the management company responded to immediately and did a good job. We enjoyed our vacation in part because Spikes Ski Place is a great place to stay. We stayed at Spikes Ski Place on Easter Weekend, from Friday, 3/21 - Wednesday, 3/26/08. I had my family of four (my wife, and my 11 and 12 year old boys), my Mom and Dad (from Nashville, TN), my buddy Bob (and his wife, 9 yr. old son, and 8 yr. old daughter), and my buddy Danny (w/his wife, and 7 yr. old son). The 13 of us were perfectly comfortable in the space. The proximity to the slopes made having communal lunches at the condo very convienient, and we cooked some fantastic dinners in as well. The kitchen and pantry were very well appointed. I suggest taking an inventory of existing sundries prior to your grocery shopping. There was an amazing array of spices, condiments, and dry-good staples "volunteered" by previous guest, and we likewise had "leave behinds". The private bathrooms for each bedroom were well recieved, we made full use of the wasshing machine & dryer (with 13 winter-sports enthusiasts in residence), and the jaunt to the hot tub via the "overhead connector" was much easier than advertised. We used the sauna and hot tub every day to soothe well used calves, quads, and glut's! The weather was absolutely awesome. It snowed Friday night (but only about 1"), for a weekly total of about 19", then Sat., Sun., & Mon. were "bluebird", with overnight lows in the upper teens/low 20's, and highs at the base in the low 30's. It was, of course, crowded at the Center Village Base, but on "our side" (the 6-man High Speed Super Bee) we never waited more than 5 or 6 chairs, and you could ski right thru the line into a chair on the upper mountain double chairs. Although not well marked there are some catwalks from the Super Bee to some green traverses and the blue runs such as Andy's Encore were fantastic! The tree skiing through the "Enchanted Forest" was a big hit, with our itermediate and advanced contingent. My mom & dad meanwhile shuttled over to Union Creek for the green groomers and wide meadows around Kokomo. The boys were in absolute Nirvana skiing in/on REAL SNOW!!! (vs. our NC 'loud powder'). Saturday afternoon Ethan (my 12 yr. old) and I skied "Too Much", which had VW sized bumps from top-to-bottom, with nowhere to bail out. It ate our lunch! FEEL THE BURN! Scott & Steph were an absolute pleasure to work with, and were attentive during the entire process. We're already thinking about next March! Ron Wilson

We've stayed in this condo for FOUR straight years and just rescheduled for a 5th next year. Great condo very close to chair lift. Perfect place for a place to hang around after skiing--not fancy where you're afrad to touch something, but comfortable like you're home. Everything you need is there. Scott and Steph, the owners, are very customer oriented, so they make you feel like a house guest.

We stayed at Spike's Ski Place two years ago and found it to be perfect for our large family group. This year we returned to the same clean, well furnished, and spacious condo. The location was ideal for the many skiers in the group, who could get to the lifts easily and come back for breaks during the day. Those who did not ski enjoyed all the comforts of home. Plenty of blankets, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. Nice layout of rooms and beds. Highly recommended!

Our family stayed in the condo the second week of December and it was everything you would want a vacation home to be. The washer, dryer and jacuzzi tub all came in very handy! The kids enjoyed the loft and our family loved to sit around the fire at night after a long day on the slopes sipping on hot chocolate. We definitely hope to be back in the future!

We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend with three families to relax at the end of the summer. This was the ideal place to spend the weekend. We had enough space for the thirteen people that stayed here and we had a ball. The large deck was where we spent the late afternoons laughing and relaxing and enjoying a coctail while the kids told us of their exploits riding mountain bikes down the mountain. We walked into Center Village to enjoy a concert and to do some shopping. Summer or winter, this is the perfect place to get your group together and have some fun. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to be in Copper. Scott and Steph are the perfect landlords and will do anything to make sure that your stay is all that you want to it to be.

Spike's Place was a fabulous get away for four dear girlfriends who take an annual golf trip in Colorado. We have been doing this for 15 years, and have never enjoyed the luxury of the accomodations that Scott and Steph's condo have to offer. There is a spacious kitchen , dining, and living area to spread out and enjoy as well as 4 spacious bedrooms and baths to escape to. As Colorado residents we do appreciate the beauty of the Rocky Mtns., but now we have a very special place to retreat to. Thank you Scott & Steph for thinking of every last little detail that makes a home away from home so cozy and comfy.

Last year (2006) our family of 13 were able to enjoy Spike's Place for a whole week to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had so much fun that 10 of us returned this summer for another week. This condo has everything you've ever wanted in a home away from home. The view is also spectacular from the balcony. We saw bear cubs, elk, deer and an abundance of wildlife from there. This area offers so much to do. Steph and Scott are the greatest and of course we are already looking forward to returning. I can't imagine staying any other place.

Spikes Ski Place was a great find for our group! The accommodations and location were both great and everyone enjoyed their stay while participating in the Courage Classic Bike Tour. The kitchen has just about everything you could ever need, the hot water heater accommodated all of us and our laundry without a problem. It was also nice to find a high chair available for the toddler in our group, along with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It would be a great place to stay during the ski season as the fireplace looks very cozy. Everyone enjoyed the TV/DVD players in each room. We'll definitely pick #34420 for our next group stay in Copper! Thanks Scott and Steph!

Our accomodations were exceptional. The condo is very clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen is very adequately supplied. We appreciated Scott's immediate attention to a problem we encountered and having the problem quickly resolved. When you stay here you truely feel like it's your home away from home. Our young children loved the loft and the adults appreciated the nice size bedrooms. There's plenty of fire logs to enjoy a fire each night. We also appreciated having the laundry facilities. The avid skiers loved being so close to the lift, no time wasted on commuting! We also had a week of Awesome powder, what more could we want! Thanks Scott & Stephanie

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this Condo. It is so well equipped and we felt so at home. There's plenty of room and has so many great features. The 2 jacuzzi tubs came in handy after a day of skiing. It was so nice to come home and just sit around the fireplace. I highly recommend this for anyone considering visiting Copper Mountain.

This is a great place for a large group of 6-10. We had 8 adults (3 couples and 2 singles) and everyone had plenty of room. With a separate bathroom for each of the 4 bedrooms, it was very nice accommodations for everyone. The unit is nicely furnished, in a great location, and made for a very enjoyable weekend. We would definitely recommend it to others!

My wife and I took our children, spouses and grandchildren here in June for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The accomodations were outstanding! The kitchen is well supplied, the bedrooms were sufficient for 13 of us and our view was spectacular. We had a wonderful time and we're already trying to gather up the gang to go back.

This is a great unit with plenty of room for everyone and fully stocked with all the conveniences of home. It is truly just a short walk across the street to the Super Bee, entertainment and shuttle services. Scott and Stephanie have been great to work with and corresponded before, during and after our stay! They've gone out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

This condo is everything it says it is and more. There really are 4 master rooms and 4 full baths, which are equipped with everything you need. Scott and Steph were awesome to work with. They gave great suggestions and communicated with us before, during and after our stay. This condo is close to everything, the SuperB Lift, the bus pick-up, rentals, and Moe Dixon, what else is there? We finally found our "home" at Copper. The pictures do not do it justice. We comfortably fit 4 couples and 5 children. We can't wait to do it again!

Jan 24-31 2006 The condo was great - it was a bit difficult going from sea level to hauling your ski gear up to a 2nd floor unit but it is very nicely furnished, lots of beds, and the heated floors in the 2nd floor bathrooms were the BEST! It was very convenient and close to the shuttle stop for those going to ski school, parking was easy with our two cars, and the snow was awesome. We ended up with 13 people in the unit - 4 couples and 5 single guys - and we each had a bed to sleep in! The hot tub and the BBQ grill were two buildings away, but it was do-able and we all had a great time. Your condo is highly recommended by us for the overall enjoyable affordable experience. Aloha!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was immaculately clean and very well furnished. We had a family get together with 10 people and had lots of room and no waiting for a bathroom! The kitchen was wonderful and the bedrooms very comfortable. The owners were very helpful and eager to please. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
