  This is a charming, nicely appointed and well stocked house including more than enough kitchen utensils, plenty of toys, several bikes and two golf carts. It was just perfect for our two generation family of four adults and two children. We loved the proximity to the ocean, yet being only a short ride away from the market and the conservation center, and within walking distance of the BHI Club. The suggested activities listed in the informational notebook left by the owners were super helpful. We picnicked on the boardwalk overlooking the marsh and took the hiking trail through the maritime forest.. I would recommend this house highly to anyone looking for a comfortable place with nice owners, in a very convenient location, with the ocean practically at your doorstep..

  We had an amazing time at Bald Head Island! The views from this villa are spectacular and the owner was a joy to work with. Everything was "as advertised." I highly recommend this villa for its views, amenities and location! I had been worried about getting all of our things over on the ferry, but the whole process was very streamlined and easy, even with my two small children!

  This was our first trip to BHI and we felt like we discovered a paradise island hidden from the rest of the world. Our Villa was everything that we hoped for. It was comfortable and very accommodating. The kitchen is well equipped with up to date appliances which made meal preparation easy. We enjoyed relaxing out on the deck while taking in the beautiful ocean views and the heavenly tropical breezes after our fun filled days at the beach. We enjoyed walking along the quiet, calm and picturesque beaches each day. Our Villa was just a short stroll to the beach and the Bald Head Island Club. It is truly in a perfect location. My favorite activity was taking a ride in one of the golf carts around the island to see the sights including wildlife, marshlands, shops, Old Baldy, etc. We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you for sharing your warm and inviting home with our family.

  This villa is in a good location for enjoying the south beach and the East Beach, as well as the grocery store and shops. It is also a very short walk to the pool, which is convenient. The house itself is comfy and well laid out, and the ice maker in the kitchen is a huge plus. Owners are quickly available to answer questions and to help with anything. I would recommend this unit for convenience and for a totally updated place to stay. Having the two golf carts is perfect so that you can take your whole group anywhere on the island. Highly recommend.

  We found this property to be much nicer than similar experiences. The recent renovations are tasteful and extremely functional. The kitchen renovation includes a fantastic icemaker that came in very handy as we prepared for a day at the beach. I understand that the owners have more renovations planned for the fall. The owners were very friendly and professional. Our rental week was "smooth sailing" and we would defintely rent from them again!

  Charming, cozy beach villa. Bright cheery decor. Great workable kitchen with everything a cook could ask for.Fabulous views and conveniently located. Very clean and well maintained. Owners delightful and more than helpful to work with. Would definitely return to this villa again. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great getaway. 4th of July golf cart parade the best!!!

  This is a great rental property. The owners were very helpful in answering all of our questions prior to our visit and also checked in with us during our visit to ensure that everything was going well. This was our first trip to Bald Head Island so we had lots of questions. Our teenagers absolutely loved the beaches. The house was centrally located and each day we would split our time on the south beach and the east beach of the island. The Villa is also right next the the BHI club which is extremely convenient. If you are looking for a great family vacation spot where you can really enjoy the time together then Bald Head Island and this rental property is the prefect place. Having 2 golf carts available for your use is a huge plus to this rental property. Also, the renovations recently done by the owners really add to the attraction to this property. I would certainly rent from them again.

  We LOVED our stay at this villa. It is very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The location is great for beach, restaurants, harbour, old Baldy & the market. The view from the balcony is amazing especially at night with the moon light reflections. It was our first time to Bald Head Island and we will sure be back. The golf carts were great fun and so were the bikes. Thank you owner for making our vacation just wonderful!! IT exceeded all our expectations!!

  This is the best place we have stayed at Bald Head Island due to it's location, the views, and the house itself. The new owners had completely renovated the house! New paint and carpet. I also love the hardwood floors in the living areas. AND we love the pink golfcart! We named it "Hoopty." Everyone on the island recognizes that golfcart. We plan on going back to this villa every year and maybe more than once a year! Take my word for it - this is the place to stay. Oh, and my husband loves the grill! He says it is the best grill he has ever cooked on! You will not be disappointed in this villa - you will love it!

  We throughly enjoyed our stay here! We couldn't get enough of the ocean view! The villa is sparkling clean with a fabulous, updated kitchen. The layout (two Master Bedrooms) is perfect for families traveling together and the childen all enjoyed their special space in the loft that has room for sleep, room for play and its own bathroom. A playground is nearby and it's wonderful to let the children go with no fear of traffic. This villa is very convenient to the golf and dining at the Bald Head Island Club. Be prepared to relax and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the island from this great location. We'll be back!
