Ocean House condominiums are the class of the Indian River Plantation condos and this unit is, as far as I can tell, tops among those in that condo. Having rented at other places, including Ocean House, in the past it seems that there is a tendency to skimp on the appointments but this is not the case with this unit. The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances and the counter tops are granite. The electronics are also up to date with free wireless service, a DVD player and an HD television in the living area. The owner seems committed to improving the unit, in some fashion, yearly. The decor is warm and comfortable with touches that make it seem like it's your second home. The grounds are meticulously kept as Ocean House is the only condo on IRP that has a property manager. The owner is very easy to work with and made a last minute adjustment to our rental dates to allow us maximize our time there. We were extremely pleased with the entire package and having rented at various places for over ten years can say, without qualification, that this is the finest unit we've been in.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.
