  We had a fantastic weeks stay at Owl's Landing. Sandy and Sheila have a warm, cozy inviting place that they are gracious enough to share with others. The description of the cabin was just as it is. There is everything you could possibly think of other, than your personal clothes and food. The cabin was clean and well maintained. I will reccomend this property to all my friends and associates in Florida. I am looking forward to booking my next trip to Owl's Landing. Thanks Sandy and Sheila for sharing your great cabin.

  What a great place. We enjoyed the month we stayed at Owl's Landing. As soon as we arrived, we felt so at home. We love the mountains and the community, and the peaceful neighborhood was so comfortable. Thanks again Sandy.

  From the moment we walked into Owl's Landing, we felt welcomed and at home. From the comfy beds, well equipped kitchen (everything from plates, glasses, utensils and even aluminum foil, and scissors - all stored logically and easily accessible), pool towels, dog bowls, baby gates and great screened in porch, we found it such a pleasure to stay at the cabin. We didn't want to leave. It was in a quiet location in a golf community, with access to a nice restaurant and a swimming pool with a million dollar view of the mountains. Just a short drive to Cade's Cove, Sugarlands and Tremont (all in the Great Smoky Mountains for nature hikes) and Maryville for the farmer's market and lunch. Townsend had a convenient grocery and Lily's Cafe was a great place to eat. Don't miss the Lily Barn if you love flowers. The cabin was very clean and well maintained, with games, movies, magazines and books if you wanted to relax and stay in. The owner answered all of our ? in a timely manner and was very helpful. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog on the trip and she loved the place as much as we did. We would highly recommend this cabin to our family and friends and hope to return again soon. You made us feel like we were friends visiting at your mountain house, instead of customers. Thank you for making our vacation so delightful.

  After a tragic year within our family, we needed to get away and re-connect. We found peace at Owl's Landing!!! The tree top vistas, cozy fireplace and relaxing whirlpool tub made for a perfect escape from the "real" world. We enjoyed the flatscreen TV and playing board games in front of the fireplace. Hubby and one daughter rode their bikes along the great bike trail in Townsend while myself and the other daughter played Just Dance on our Wii (I won by the way!!) There was something for everyone!! We rode through beautiful Cades Cove and tried several Townsend restaurants which were all wonderful!! Townsend is the quiet side of the smokies but has everything close by you might want, without all the traffic and people. We already wanting to go back!!! Owl's Landing is our new favorite cabin getaway and Sandy & Sheila make it so simple and welcoming. Everything we needed was at the cabin which was refreshing since most cabins you would need to bring half your home to exist comfortably. I highly recommend Owl's Landing to anyone wanting to walk into a getaway and feel right at home!!!!

  Owls Landing was comfy right from the start. From the cozy sofas to the comfy beds to the inviting screened in back porch, it was all you could want. Really loved being able to take our 4 legged pals along. If you are looking for a quiet, comfy place to stay, I highly recommend Owls Landing. It is definitely on my love to return to list! thanks for sharing Owls Landing with us.

  We enjoyed our stay at Owl's Nest-convenient location, no stairs to climb, the place was clean and fairly-well equipped. Nice to be able to bring the dog who loved the neighborhood. Could have used a bit more outside lighting as it gets pretty dark up there at night and difficult to see to walk the dog. Enjoyed the golf course-very challenging, and location was convenient for Townsend/Cades Cove activities. Premium channels on the TV and Internet access was great. Definitely will return when we are in the area again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

  This cabin is so wonderful! We really enjoyed a great girl's weekend in Townsend. The cabin is nicely appointed with everything you need for cooking a great meal or visiting the wonderful restaurant at the country club--I had the pan seared rainbow trout! Yummy! Everything was super clean which is always important to me. Thanks Sandy and Sheila for sharing the Owl's Landing with us! We'll be back!

  My husband and I stayed at Owl's Landing over the 4th of July weekend a few weeks ago and we loved it. The pictures don't do it justice ! We were surprised how much larger it was when we got there. We spend Sunday driving to Cherokee NC, through the National Forest, which is right down the street at the end of Townsend and took lots of pictures of beautiful views from the many lookouts they have on the way. Maryville is located conveniently close to visit the movies or have dinner. The local IGA store in Townsend has all the groceries you could need and we could have easily been just fine with staying in the cabin the whole weekend, without having to go anywhere (especially since it was our 1st wedding anniversary), since we had all the food we needed, but it was nice to see what else was around. The cabin was very clean and cozy and Sandy was very helpful and attentive with any questions I had. She is a Sweetie ! We definitely plan to come back...sooner rather than later !

  My family of four enjoyed our 6 nights stay in this cozy cabin while we visited the Smoky Mountain National Park. The owner was helpful and cooperative from the start. We found the cabin very clean and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed to cook complete meals. The floor plan allows for two couples to share the space comfortably but for us it was perfect having a seperate bedroom and bath for kids on one end of the house and parents on the other. Each night we enjoyed cider by the fire place in the cozy sofa and living room. With a 6 night stay, having a washer and dryer was a great convenience, especially after hikes with two kids. My favorite feature about this cabin was the location! My family visited the area to experience the GSMNP and staying here was like staying on the doorstepsto the Park. We were able to drive into the park within minutes and get to all the day hikes we wanted to see. Within minutes we were in Cades Cove and the Abrams Falls. The park entrance near Townsend is close to Sugarlands Visitor Center, Chimney Tops, Metcaff Bottoms, Newfound Gap Road to Clingmans' Dome and the Appalachian Trail, Rainbow Falls, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and more. Each day we spent half our day in the Park and half with another activity. And right in Townsend, within minutes of the cabin, we visited Tucaleechee Caverns, Foothills Parkway, Dave Crocett horseback riding stables and the Heritage Center. Only a short ride away was the activies in Pigeon Forge and Gatlingurg. Truly, a nice quiet cabin for a get away but close to nature with the park entrance so easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to send anyone to enjoy Owl's Landing. Thank you so much, Sandy!
