Cottage was perfect for 6 adults on a 4 day fishing trip. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Other reviews stated the cottage was small. Although it is not a large cottage, it is laid out well and had plenty of room for us. Gail has done a great job with the cottage and was very helpful in all aspects. Great place to stay! Tom

Owner response: Thank you for the kind words and great review. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay. I really appreciated you leaving the cottage in such excellent condition. You and your friends are more that welcome to return anytime.
Spent a "Sunny" week at the cottage. It was perfect!! Everything we needed. Everyday I would say to my husband "I want a place just like this." Cute, comfortable and perfect for a family vacation. We will be back next year. Thank you, Gail.

Owner response: Hi Dianne, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I am so glad that you had a great time. I am really pleased that you want to return. As soon as you know what dates you want let me know and I will save them for you. I also want to thank you for all you did to leave it in such great shape when you left. I look forward to hearing from you. I feel like I have made a new friend. Gail
Just got home from our week at Camp 312 and I'm counting down the days 'til next year. Everything is just as described, and better. The campfires at night on the lake made our vacation. The camp is charming, clean, and Gail made sure we had everything we needed - a fully stocked kitchen, ample towels and linens, even an umbrella in the closet which, unfortunately, we did have to use once!! Can't say enough about this place, and we can't wait to come back!! Thanks Gail!!!

Owner response: Thank you so much for the kind words Lynn. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay and equally glad that you want to return next year. Thank you so much for taking such good care of "our" little summer getaway. You made it very easy to get ready for my next guests. I look forward to seeing you again. Gail
My husband and I and are 2 labs thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, even though it rained on saturday for the most part it was nice to get away. My husband caught lots of fish, and I caught 1 or 2. Cottage is so my style, I love antiques and the moose decor, very clean and cozy. The neighbors were friendly and informative. Would definately recommend this and hope to stay a weekend again sometime. Thanks Gail.

Comfy and cosy
Comfy and cosy
My family (4 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby and 2 dogs) stayed here during a family reunion at Oneida Shores. The place is lovely, small, but you are outside most of the time and don't even notice. It's quiet and clean and comfortableIt has everything that you could want for comfort, and the lakefront situation is the best thing about it. We sat on the enclosed porch every evening watching the sun set over the lake, and went out first thing in the rowboat for a little ride. We went blueberry picking our last day there and I was sorry to go.

Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: My husband and I bought this cottage in 1999. We had been boaters but wanted a place where our grandchildren could grow up. When we found this cottage we knew we could stop looking. We went through it , upgraded it and decorated it to make it our own. Of course we were right, the grandchildren love it. We do too. We have spent a lot of time there relaxing. For us it was a nice getaway, close to home. The neighbors out there are great and have become close friends. My husband was a retired principal and I retired from teaching. We had fun doing some traveling but treasured our time at "camp".My husband passed away 5 years ago so things have changed a bit but we have many treasured memories.
Why the Owner Chose Cleveland:
We bought this place because of the location. It is only 45 minutes from our home plus it is a truly beautiful spot. Being so close to home, it's convienent for families and friends to visit.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Although the cottage is close to home it feels as though we are far away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. There is a laundromat close by as well as a restaurant. Also there is a little grocery store for those forgotten items. It is great to walk out the door, be near the lake and have privacy.
