  My wife, our two children (3 1/2 and 1 1/2) along with my mother-in-law stayed in this amazing home for 3 glorious weeks. The photos don't do this home or the location justice. A typical day for us was waking up to sunshine, turning on the home sound system to some relaxing Hawaiian music, making breakfast in our gourmet kitchen, walking to one of the two Starbucks that were close by (We asked our children "You want to go left or right today?" at the end of the street - left takes you to the Starbucks at the Cannery Mall, right takes you to the Starbucks off Front street in Lahaina), walking home, opening up the massive sliding doors to fully experience the Maui weather, the kids jumping in the 'pool' as they called it - it's actually a large hot tub, but they thought it was a pool, while mommy or nany relaxed in the adirondack chairs on our private lanai reading on their iPad or Kindle.. Then it was time for lunch - what should we make today? After lunch, we walk to the beach, which isn't really a walk, it's more like an extension of your lania... My daughter met new 'friends' every day there, and we rented a SUP paddle board from Boss Frog's down the street so we could float on that and she loved to jump off, get back on, jump off, get back on.. And because this beach has no shore break - our daughter and son could wade out into the water with no problems. Then, when it was time for dinner, we either prepared it at the home - (we only ate out 4 times in 3 weeks - why would you leave this house?), got take out from Star Noodle (beat the crowd, order takeout), or drove up to Sansei Sushi in Kapalua for dinner. Even though the home is on a corner and has a path to the beach next to it - it was incredibly private. Although we did like sitting on our lanai and hearing people walk by and saying "Wow, look at that house.." And, there were a few times where people saw us walking from the lanai to the beach and would ask "Is that your house?" We normally struck up a conversation with them and were happy to tell them how amazing it is. The rest of the reviews have said more about the house - I am describing the lifestyle that the house enables you to live while you are on vacation. We've rented a dozen or so homes over the years and this home is probably our #1 or #2. If you're ready for the ultimate vacation - this is the place to do it!

  After escaping from the cold winter of New England, this house made us never want to head back East! :) It truly is heaven on earth ... from the magnificence that the house itself has to offer (outdoor upstairs Lania with amazing views of the ocean!?!?) to the surrounding sites to see! Baby beach is located directly behind the house ... open the backyard gate and you are literally on this gorgeous little beach ... AMAZING! We enjoyed coming home every night to grill out on the backyard patio as we watched the sun setting over the ocean and watch the whales pass through the tranquil waters... words can't describe the extreme beauty and peace that you will experience! If you are thinking of renting this house ...stop thinking about it and just do it ... you will NOT regret your decision! It was hard for us to pack up and leave and we can not wait to return in the years to come!

  This was the perfect house for our family of adult married children and their children. The beach was the favorite spot for the children. Located so close to town you could walk with no problem. Close to surfing for the older family. Great for relaxing. The home is so comfortable there is no need to go anywhere.

  My wife and I and our three kids enjoyed a spectacular stay at the home over Thanksgiving. The house is situated right on a wonderful "locals" beach with terrific neighbors and hawaiian families. While the beach-front portion of the house is next to a footpath that provides neighborhood beach access, you rarely notice locals coming or going. The house feels quite private. As for the beach--beautiful sand, clean water, nice coral and good beach combing. The water is protected by a coral reef which makes for perfect smooth water and very few waves. If you have kids, you will certainly feel safe letting your little ones wade around without concern and running down to the sand by themsleves. The town is a short walking distance (even for small kids) which also made dinners out a delight. Sunsets at the house are simply spectacular as the sun sets right in front of you. The house itself is very tasteful with all the modern ammenities--great kitchen, well appointed rooms, and a comfortable open floor plan. We recommend this house highly for anyone who is tired of resort vacations and wants a real "authentic" Hawaian experience.

  We plan a trip to Hawaii every summer with our five kids (15-27). We gave up resort/hotel accommodations long ago, preferring to stay in a home-like setting so that everyone can move along on their own schedule. Well, this home takes the cake! It is just beautiful. The kitchen is a chef's dream. They have not spared any expense. They have a mid-week cleaning service (what?) included. We strolled along a mostly vacant beach every night before bed. There is a walkway along the house that is a public beach access, but everyone was nice and respectful of the property. Several neighbors said that they knew the owners and that they were lovely people. We definitely will be back. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We regret not staying longer.

  We planned our first vacation to Maui and brought along our grown children ages 22 - 27. In looking at the pictures online and reading about the home, we were very excited to say the least. When we arrived to the home, we were amazed at the great layout of the home, the decor, the beach and the distance to Lahaina. Many times pictures on the internet will look great but when you arrive, you're wondering where they took the picture. This was not the case with this home, the pictures in fact, did not do this home justice. It exceeded our expectations. It is such a great layout and has every amenity you could want. The kitchen was perfect for preparing food and allows for help in the kitchen without tripping over each other! We were very comfortable and was trying to figure out how we could reproduce this house in the midwest. While there, we spent a great deal of time on the beach, walking into town, or just relaxing in one of the areas at the house. Our kids did rent surf boards and snorkel equipment close by and spent a great deal of time on the beach. We as a family really didn't feel the need to go anywhere, it was just great to stay at the house or the beach and enjoy it. We did go into Lahaina a few nights for dinner, Kimo's being our favorite. I think we went there three times! This is a great vacation home, not sure I could ever go back and stay in a resort or another home!

  The home is beautiful,well maintained, on the beach, and a very short walk into town. My husband and I took our family here for our family summer vacation. The ages were from 4 to 64. Everyone loved our stay in this home. The four children never wanted to leave the house and beach. I have rented several homes from vrbo, but this home for exceeded our expectations. Owners and property manager were always very helpful.

  Fantastic home in a wonderful setting! The beach location was fabulous and our entire family enjoyed easy access to the beach, snorkeling and walks to downtown Lahaina. This beautiful home has been well equipped with the finest for the cooking enthusiast. A most enjoyable trip with fantastic surroundings and a lovely home !

  We had a wonderful week in the beachhouse with our family. It was perfect for every one of us. It is hard for the pictures to do it justice for it is such a spacious, well-planned, and tastefully decorated home. We could not have chosen better . The little girls loved the beach but they also loved the spa area and just did not want to leave . Their parents got to go sightseeing on their own while we, the grandparents, happily stayed to enjoy the fun of watching . Being so close to Lahaina 's downtown was a big plus .It was an easy walk for us all and the adults took turns at having a night out..It was also nice to be able to go for nice long walks out to the Kaanapalli area and enjoy the sights there. There were quiet times too, and gram found the seclusion of the front porch, surrounded in privacy and peace ,to be an appealing reading area.There is also a very special upper deck area outside the master bedroom #2. It has wonderful views and is another great space to enjoy . So all and all ,we could not have been more pleased with our stay.Top marks !

  This gorgeous home was perfect for our family vacation. Being able to watch the humpback whales from the beach in front of this home was absolutely breathtaking. The beach front location also gives you the ability to walk out to the beach to relax and enjoy, go snorkeling, swimming, or just watch the sunset. Shopping and restaraunts are a short 5 minute walk away which was extremely convenient. I will always treasure this time with my family while celebrating my 50th birthday. To be able to stay in this home made our stay in Maui truly magical! So many great memories. Thank you.
