Our non-smoking unit is beautifully decorated with a tropical flair. This is a one bedroom, one bath, condo on the fourth floor of The Plantation Resort West located just 13 miles down Ft. Morgan Road in the city of Gulf Shores Alabama.

If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay this is it! The living room features a balcony with a view of the Gulf of Mexico and a never ending, cool, sea breeze. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and a DVD/VCR TV combo.

The kitchen is fully equipped and supplied with all cookware, utensils, dishes and silverware. The bedroom has a queen size bed, TV and clock radio. There is a bunk bed in the hall suitable for children in addition to the previously mentioned sleeper sofa.

This unit is climate controlled and has a tub/shower combo in the bathroom. Other in-unit amenities include, microwave, automatic ice maker, coffeemaker, telephone w/answering service, cable TV, garbage disposal, iron & ironing board, box fan and coin laundry facilities on the first floor.

The Plantation Resort boasts its own private sugar sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Your just a short stroll over the resort grounds to enjoy the private beach. Or, if you prefer, sun bathe at one of the six outdoor pools.

The resort also offers one indoor pool located in our building. Other resort amenities include indoor and outdoor jaccuzis, steam room, sauna, lighted and unlighted tennis courts, putting green, sand volleyball pit, shuffleboard, bar/lounge (seasonal), video rental, honor library and much more.

How about a round of golf at the championship course Kiva Dunes, located just across the parking lot! For those of you interested in the night life, downtown Gulf Shores is just 15 minutes away. Come and enjoy our relaxing surroundings at The Plantation Resort.

  • Our family has been to this area of Florida about 8 times - but this COndo was Fantastic - the resort was wonderful and very relaxing Vacation. The Oyster House restaurant is a MUST (go before 5pm) The owners of this Condo have done a Wonderful job in decorating and furnishing everything you could possibly need as well as calling during our visit to make sure all was well. This resort had something for everyone and WE WILL BE BACK!!! They have activities for all ages - we have a 21 & 15 yr old and they loved it. I loved being a little away from all the traffic & congestion but yet close enough to be anywhere in a few minutes. This Condo is superb and am referring everyone I know to these owners.   • Our stay at your condo was very nice (June 2005). The room was very clean and the weather was wonderful. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and the outdoor pools. Our 4yr old really enjoyed the hot tub he said it was like being in a big bath tub. The beach area was so beautiful. Everyone at the resort was friendly. We have stayed at other condo's but your condo and the resort was the best so far. We will be coming back in 2006. Thanks for helping make our family vacation a wonderful one.

  • we had a wonderful time visiting gulf shores!!! we had never visited the gulf before, but we would come back tomorrow if we could. the condo was beautiful!! it had everything we could want!! what made it even better was that it was clean!!!!!!!!!!! you never know what you will get when you stay at some places, but here was just lovely!!! thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

  • We have been to the gulf coast many, many times, but this is the nicest place we've ever stayed. We loved the location -- away from the hectic, crowded tourist scene in Gulf Shores. Yet we were close enough to zip into town for dinner. (We highly recommend the Shrimp Basket, Original Oyster House, and King Neptunes, but get there early.) We were so impressed with the security, staff, and grounds at the Plantation. The pool is so nice -- shallow, big, and right on the beach. For $90/night (spring rates), we thought it was an excellent value. We plan to make this place a family tradition

  • At first, we thought the Plantation was a bit removed from town, but as the days progressed, we were so glad we stayed there. The area seems so unspoiled and serene. The grounds are inpeccable, the staff very nice and the pools, beaches and other amentities are top notch. We highly recommend Fishnet restaurant..food and service were wonderful. Great atmosphere for quiet dining for couples. We would most definitely return to Plantation

    Gulf shores is a fab resort! We had a great time! I especially enjoyed the private beaches and the seclusion of the resort yet, it was close enough to all the nightlife and family activities . This particular condo is close to all the pools, including the indoor pool and quite accessible to the beach. I'll definitely come back again and as frequent as possible. You should take the time to dine at Lamberts and take in the minautre golfing at Pirates Cove.
