Close to the cabin is Howes caverns , where you can explore caves or go zip lining, We have several horse riding facilities close by as well as organic farms. Behind the property is state land where you can go hunting .We as a family love to explore the near by waterfalls in the summer and cross country skiing all around the area in the winter.

          Owner info

          Year Purchased: 2005

About the owner: My wife and I are free lance artists. I am a musician and she is a designer of beach towels. We built this cabin ourselves and put our heart and soul into it. Every detail, down to the bookshelves was done by hand. We travel for work often. The rental of the cabin is our supplemental income. We have two children who have grown up here and it was an ideal childhood environment. We hope you enjoy it.

          Why the Owner Chose Stamford:
The perfect distance away from NYC. The way the property is situated near enough to a local village and far enough into the woods is just right. Also the fact that the stream and pond is here is a big plus for us.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Privacy, the pond, living next to nature, our garden, the frogs at dusk in springtime, cross country skiing or hiking trails..the list is too long.
