  I was more than satisfied with the condition of the rental. I was more than happy with the location. The property was very clean and well maintained. The property manager was very helpful. Overall I recommend this vacation rental. Just as the rat pack would sing about the good life, this property with large pool, separate barbecue and eating area, and authentic furnishings in the home exemplifies a simpler more relaxed pace of life. With the south facing backyard we had all the sun we needed. The available pool fence provided us a little more comfort for our 5 year old and his 4 year old cousin when not in the pool. Close by golf courses and PS downtown with shopping and spas provided activities for all of us. I would definitely come back to stay here and recommend to my friends.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: great location if you want to be in old palm springs, except for the tear down homes on either side (actually this gave us more privacy), and the fact in Old Palm Springs you get about 1.5-2 hours less of sun as you are shaded by the mountains. makes a difference in the spring months. the BBQ does not work, no throw blanket for the couch, and the dishware, and utensils need to be upgraded to a better quality.

The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second trip to Palm Springs and decided that a house would best fit our needs as we have a year and a half old. We are so happy with our choice, the house was great, the yard was very private and we were pretty close to downtown. The only small complaints I would have is that the house seems to be on a flight path which was fine for us, our daughter loved waving at them as they went overhead, but I can see it being a concern for some. Also, and I am sure this is common practice for rental homes, it was kind of disappointing to pay a pool heating fee and have it take 24-48 hours for the pool to heat up once you get there. We were lucky, the weather was wonderful while we were there so the pool heated quickly but it would be too bad if you couldn't use a pool you were paying to heat for 2 days out of a week long vacation. All in all we would really recommend this vacation property!

  For fans of Midcentury modern architecture this is a great place to experience the house's style, comfort, and open-floor plan. In addition, the big yard with barbeque area and a nice-size pool make it an attractive stay for both children and adults. Very private and cozy. Great kitchen, appliences, beds... A perfect palce for a romantic gateway or a family retreat away from civilization (with all the luxury, of course). Some negative points: We didn't have hot water the first night because they had forgotten to turn on the water heater.
