Great location spent two weeks will return as time allows. Many places to visit Cedar Key, Rainbow River, supper in Ozello for crab feast is a winner. Homosassa is a pretty river and has good eats as well. Crackers is allways the kids favorite. Springs and scallops were always inviting. Two great swims with the manatees right out back. Fabulous veiws, plenty of room.

This house is in an excellent location for everybody in our group. The older generation was able to sit and enjoy the view and the nature around them and the younger group was able to go fishing and kayaking. Everybody was happy and could meet back at the house for a wonderful meal. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and the grocery store was close. We saw manatees and dolphins right up to the seawall, unbelievable. We have been there twice and will certainly return.

FANTASTIC PLACE! GREAT LOCATION! GREAT LAYOUT! Loved this waterfront rental house! It came fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. And that is a really important consideration for us in choosing a vacation rental. The house more than adequately served our party of 3 adults/4 teenagers. Plenty of dishes, towels, (bath/beach), room to roam, car and boattrailer parking, washer/dryer.etc. Cold AC! Big backyard. The itemized house listing does not lie! This house has it all! The view of the bay is phenomenal. Daily, we watched the manatees, birds and ducks in the water just feet from the seawall. Big concrete steps in the seawall for easy water access- this became important for our teenagers to access the canoe with! Big boat dockage area and plenty of seawall for additional boats to dock. Short 10 min boat ride to Three Sisters Springs, and approx 30 mins to the Gulf (did I mention July is scalloping season? YUM!) Truly enjoyed every aspect of the waterfront positioning that this home offered! This is the type of home that we would return to, again and again, as it offers everything we need in a rental: very clean/large group accommodations, enough dishes/towels/pots/pans for our partysize, water-front access, convenient location to stores/shopping(Grannies Rest!), animal viewing and gorgeous sunrises! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will be back!

When we arrived the stench of rotting garbage met us at the driveway. Two trash barrels in car-port were full with lots of flies, too. Front screen (door) torn open. Spider webs on windows. Dirty windows. Grounds were not taken care of well. Broken wood chair tossed in bushes in back yard. Inside? Beige carpets were literally filthy and dark stains all over. The usual supplies were not there. Called owner in Vermont and told her. She apologized and called caretaker who did take care of supplies and got the carpets cleaned the next day. Dogs barking from house opposite the rental. We cut our stay very early. Gave the owner the option to refund some of our rental fee. No money was refunded. Thank you very much!
Owner response:Although I would love to say that the response was not at all accurate there was an unfortunate mistake made by our cleaning people and the trash was not put to the curb. As soon as I got the call from the tenant I reached the cleaning people and got the problem remedied immediately. As for dogs barking across the street, this is the first I have heard of the problem. The reason for leaving had nothing according to the tenant to do with the inconvenience but due to a family emergency. I think if you review my previous tenants comments this property will speak for itself.

Wow...What a wonderful place to relax, be quiet, enjoy nature and eat great seafood. We spent 12 days here in February and are returning in March. We are counting the days. This is going to be our home away from home. We thank the owners for opening their home to us.

We went in with 6 people, two more joined us for the weekend. The house was great. Pictures do not lie. We loved the view from the windows and from the yard. It is really right on the water. Having been to the area many times (at least 7 times since 2001), this was the best place we have found to stay. We were able to get to the activities that we enjoyed best with no hassles. If we don't add any people to our vacation next year, we will return to this house.

Great vacation home. Perfect location and beautiful view. Our family stayed in the home from 4/7/08 - 4/11/08. We had a great time. Docking our 20' boat was easy too. We look forward to go back later this summer. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a WONDERFUL home! Very comfortable and spacious, fully stocked, just bring groceries. There is plenty of room for additional air-beds if necessary. And the view...BIG windows look out to the bay WOW! We watched the manatees and fished right from the backyard. Great restaurants/Tiki bars close by. WE WILL BE BACK!

What a nice place this is. Spacious and comfortable for our party of six fiashermen (for eight days). We enjoyed the dai;ly visits of osprey, manatees, herons, etc. The location is quiet with a fine view of the bay. We docked two 17 ft. boats easily. In the evenings, we particularly enjoyed sitting out back, grilling dinner with a cold beer and relaxing with that view. Our group hopes to stay here agiain sometime.
