LOCATION:
Situated just 1/2 mile from the Village of North Conway and only 1/4 mile from Mount Cranmore, this large brookside home is convenient for all north country activities: skiing (Attitash / Bear Peak - 10 min & Wildcat - 15 min), hiking, climbing, swimming, canoeing and outlet shopping. The North Conway area features attractions for the whole family including winter sports, golf, mini-golf, alpine and water slides, mountain biking, and scenic train rides as well as fine dining, theater and night life.

DESCRIPTION:
This spacious 8 bedroom / 16 room / 5 bathroom vacation house is available year-round. This house is strictly no smoking & no pets. My house is child friendly & includes a baby gate, full crib, pack n play, booster seat & high chair. All bedrooms include a fan and CD / dual alarm clocks. Outside there is parking for 6 cars, a landscaped front yard and a small back yard adjacent to the brook.

For rent by owner. A security deposit of $500 is required.

GARDEN LEVEL:
The lower level has double sliding doors to the back yard & brook off of a large open living area with a TV, DVD, stereo, wet bar, 8' Olhausen slate pool table, 7' air hockey table & sunken living area with central fireplace. Other rooms on this level include laundry room (full size washer & dryer), "talking" darts & foosball room, exercise room, dry sauna, TV room (with a Playstation 2 & DVD player) & a full bathroom.

FIRST FLOOR:
Large double wooden doors open off of the front entry porch into the main living area. This level includes the kitchen (granite counters, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, glasstop convection oven, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker & fridge with filtered ice & water dispensers), dining room (built-in china cabinet, double octagonal wood tables seat 16), living room (with stereo, TV, VCR & DVD players), master bedroom (with king bed & private full bathroom), double bedroom, twin bedroom, full bathroom & a large covered back deck.

SECOND FLOOR:
The upper level has a long hall with double skylights overlooking the living room. On this floor are a reading area, queen master bedroom with balcony, queen bedroom, two double bedrooms, twin bedroom & a full bathroom off of the hallway.

  • We are abig family, and the lodge fit us perfectly. The rooms were all a good fit, and the rest of the facility provided a lot of space for activities. The proximity to North Conway and the local ski areas made it a great weekend for us.

  • I found this house online and thought it would be a wonderful retreat for a group of colleagues over Thanksgiving break. We are a group of younger teachers at a boarding school who love the outdoors. North Conway provided a wonderful setting to ski, hike, and shop, and the house had plenty of space for 12 of us (there was room for more!). The fireplaces provided wonderful atmosphere and the pool table, air hockey and foosball table were in constant use. We took advantage of the sauna, and off the back porch there is even a babbling brook to complete the package. The host is easy to get in touch with and quite accommodating.   • My friends and I have been going to N Conway to spend a weekend together for several years, our lives are so busy, we don't get together often, the group has been getting bigger with everyone getting married, we needed to find a bigger place, and this home was perfect, it was roomy and very welcoming, it pleased everyone,the different games were a great added bonus, specially since it was cold and rainy no one was bored ! , we will definitely rent again in the near future .

  • My large family stayed in this lodge at the beginning of October. We had such a great time and everyone absolutely loved the place. The layout is exceptional. With the open floor plan, many people were able to sit in the living room and any overflow was able to sit at tables close by so everyone was able to partake in conversations. The games also got a lot of use and were very fun. There were plenty of bedrooms. The lodge very clean. The neighborhood was also great. Great Area.

  • My brothers chose this place to have a quite 70th birthday for my mother. They couldn't have chosen a better house. The game room was great for the kids and adults. There was plenty of seating for everyone at meals. My wife enjoyed shopping at North Conway that's really close by. I would recommend this lodge to anyone for a group/family function.

  • Two families rented the house for the annual Storyland trip..the lodge is so great that the children didn't want to leave the "lodge" to go back to Storyland the 2nd day! Well stocked kitchen and large dining area..you never have to leave unless you want to enjoy the fine, close by dining! Thank you Katie! Will definitely rent again!

  • I had a great, idyllic time at the P.B.L. in August '08 with friends and family. We hardly left the house thanks to all the fun amenities. I can't wait to go back again!
