Come to Paradise: Located in the exclusive Hope Ranch area of Santa Barbara, “Casa Verde” is an exquisite home that will enable you to experience all the magic of the California Riviera and Private Hope Ranch Beach.
Enjoy this family-friendly home with over 5000 square feet, an open floor plan and wrap-around decks. Dine outside with seating for 17 surrounded by majestic mountain views, while your children climb in our huge tree-house or play tetherball. You will also have access to the private Hope Ranch beach and tennis courts.
This sun-filled home is in a rustic 2 acre setting surrounded by mature oak and fruit trees, yet only 5 minutes drive to shopping and restaurants. Walk out the front door and you will find great running / biking / riding paths. In addition, there is a large horse corral for up to 4 horses. Enjoy gracious indoor-outdoor life in the jewel of the California coast.
The home sits on 2 acres and is located in the 'banana belt' of Hope Ranch, away from the coastal fog. Spend your days sunbathing on the backyard deck where you can also enjoy a private hot tub. Summer evenings are perfect to dine al fresco on the large deck surrounded by the oaks and mountains. There are lemon, avocado and apricot trees. Enjoy seasonal vegetables growing in the garden.
You will have access to the private Hope Ranch beach. This gorgeous stretch of coast is only accessible to Hope Ranch residents and their guests. It features picnic tables, open bbq pits, a kids play structure, bathrooms, and a locals-only snackstand. After your day at the beach, come home and experience a glorious heated outdoor shower in the backyard.
You will also have access to the two Hope Ranch tennis courts that are available only to residents and guests.
Our home easily sleeps 11. We think our enormous master bedroom (king bed) rivals some of the finest hotels. We wake up to mountain views, and enjoy our jacuzzi bathtub and sauna & 55 inch flat screen tv. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 also has a queen bed. Bedroom 4 has a bunk bed and trundle (can sleep 3). The private sunroom has a queen size sleeper sofa.
There is a large open floor plan with a spacious family room with 55 inch flat screen tv, Viking appliances in the eat-in kitchen which seats 10, formal dining room which seats 12, and living room. Downstairs is the kids playroom with a Wii and toys.
The home is wired for sound with state of the art SONOS system and unlimited Rhapsody subscription.
From this home, you can discover miles of horse trails and jogging paths. For cyclists, there is a path that leads right to UCSB.
The home is 5 minutes from the La Cumbre shopping center (Louis Vuitton, Coach, Tiffany, J Crew, Macy's), 3 minutes to the beach, and 10 minutes south to downtown or north to UCSB.
