  This is an absolutely wonderful condo with a great location! The view is fantastic and everything is exactly as presented on the site. You will not be disappointed! The condo is clean, well furnished, and even includes a cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels for your days at the beach. The owner, Shayne, is extremely helpful in providing information and has thought of everything. We could not have asked for more and recommend him and the condo without reservation.

  Although we'd seen photos of Shayne's Wailua Bay View Condo, when we opened the door, the photos just couldn't do it justice. From the decor; to the layout; to the cleanliness; there was not a thing to be desired. Then the views; it just doesn't matter from which angle, the ocean, waves, seashore, mountains, clouds are all visible. Even though a dishwasher is available, it was never a chore to do the dishes by hand and watch the whales breaching out beyond the reef! The bay below the condo was frequented every few days by a gorgeous green sea turtle which we nicknamed Myrtle. There was never a dull moment in Wailua Bay, as we enjoyed watching Spinner Dolphins; surfers; paddle boarders; boogie boarders; swimmers; fishermen and those fabulous kite surfers. It was so easy to access all points of the island because your location is so very central for both vehicular, bicycle and foot travel. We enjoyed our walks along the beach and along the new bike/pedestrian path that when completed will go right to Lydgate Beach and Wailua River. The Kinipopo Marketplace right across the road was so handy to pick up daily papers, fresh baked goods; specialty coffees; Mexican food, fresh Pizza; Korean Barbecue etc. So nice to just walk across the road and bring back a meal to enjoy on the Lanai, with that never-ending view. We really enjoyed barbecuing and it's a great spot to meet some of the other guests, of whom some have been visiting for 19 years. Everyone we met, were very warm and friendly and it made us feel most welcome. We can't wait to return again next year where we know we have a home, away from home. Thanks Shayne for a fabulous vacation!

  We loved this condo. It really felt like home, everything you could possibly need was there. It was so great to be able to pack up the car in the morning with beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, and beach towels, Shayne has thought of everything. The condo is represented very well on the site, everything was exactly as expected and more. The views are even more stunning in person. We loved the location as it was ideal for travel to the North and Southern parts of the Island. Shayne was extremely prompt and very helpful with his great ideas for sightseeing. We loved every minute of our vacation, the condo and the Island.

  Hey, we wanted to tell you how very much we enjoyed our stay in your beautiful condo. It was wonderful, and we had a great time. We cooked many meals there, and we enjoyed the flat screen TV in the living room, (and of course the great view from the lanai!). Only turned the bedroom set on one time but it worked great also, and we slept very well on the king bed. What a lovely place to get away from it all. We've visited Wailua Bay View several years, and our stay in your condo was among the best. Thanks so much for allowing us to share your little piece of paradise.

  This is our fourth trip to Kauai in the last five years and have stayed at WBV on each visit. My wife and I think Shaynes' condo has the best view and it helped make our two week vacation very comfortable, affordable and relaxing. Our visit was a little early this year and we missed the whales. We did have fun swimming and boogie boarding with the sea turtles at Poipu Beach (Poipu is our favorite beach). We also hiked a mile up the Kalalau Trail and the views were well worth the exercise. After the hike we snorkeled at Ke'e Beach (snorkeling better than Poipu). Shayne's condo was well equipped and safe. Another big plus is that the closed restaurant at one end of the WBV is not visible from Shayne's lanai and does not interfere with the beautiful view. The washer/dryer in the condo was a great help because it allowed us to travel light and easy. We are looking forward to our next visit and continuing our hike up the Kalalau Trail.

  My wife and spent a week in this condo for our one year anniversary and we could not ask for a better place! As soon as we walked in we saw the amazing view from the lanai. We spent many hours out there eating, drinking and playing rummikub. It over looks the bay and you can hear the waves crashing all day long. As for the rest of the condo it was great as well! The living room has a comfy sofa and chair and a huge LCD tv that we didn't use too much. The kitchen was really well equipped, only thing I could not find was measuring cups, but it even had an espresso machine! The bathroom and bedroom were great and the bed was comfy. Each night we slept really well. Some people mentioned you could hear the cars on the street, but we didn't find that at all, it was very quiet! The complex where the condo is located is really well maintained. The grills were great, made some nice Kauai beef steaks and we took advantage of the pool after a day of sightseeing! The complex is centrally located, 10 min to the airport, 3-5 min to supermarkets, 5-15 min to many, many great restaurants, and also convenient to the northern and southern side of the island. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our first anniversary. After Kauai we spent 5 days in Maui, but we both agreed we would have liked to spend that time back in Kauai and in this condo!

  We visit Kauai every year and love to stay in the same complex and have for the last 10 years. Thus unit was one of the best units we have stayed in. It is situated in the middle so your view from the lanai is excellent for the beach and ocean which is 50 yards away!! The unit has new furniture and the decor was perfect. The kitchen is stocked well for oven and stove purposes, microwave,coffee pot, tea pot and espresso machine.Washer and dryer as well as internet access.Beach towels for pool and beach.Restaurants directly across the street and shopping in walking distance. The owner of this condo is completely helpful and considerate. I recommend this unit to anyone who wants value along with a view that can not be beat!!! It has air conditioning in the bedroom and a wonderful temperature control fan in the living room. As always our stay was perfect, but short!

  This unit was clean and well maintained! The pictures and description were very accurate, and the view from the lanai was awesome! I chose this unit because of its central location on the island. Within walking distance to some great restaurants. Our favorites were Brick Oven Pizza, and Monico's Taqueria! The complex is very well maintained, and quiet. Our favorite place on the island is the town of Hanalei, and it's beautiful surrounding beaches! Shayne was very helpful with my questions, and responded quickly to my emails. We will recommend this unit to our friends and family. Mahalo for letting us stay in your lovely condo Shayne!
