Al Tahoe townhome description
The Al Tahoe Resort is the perfect destination for your Summer and Winter vacation plans.
Located in the small lakeside area of Al Tahoe - everything is nearby.
A very short walk in one direction will bring you to the spectacular shores of Lake Tahoe. Relax on the beach while the kids play in the lake. A short walk in another will take you to the Tahoe Conservancy Meadow where you can admire mighty Mount Tallac and spot wildlife. A great experience for the family and an excellent location for photos.
All of the area attractions and activities are nearby: Beaches, the casino corridor with gambling, music, and nightlife. Spectacular skiing at Heavenly, Sierra At-Tahoe, & Kirkwood. Snowmobiling, ice skating, sledding, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, golfing, sailing, dining, and shopping. It's all around you! This is Lake Tahoe - 'America's Year Around Playground' and you're in the middle of it all.
The 2 bedrooms are located upstairs. Great for sleeping in late while on vacation. The master bedroom is outfitted with a queen-sized bed for full comfort. It also has a makeup table and mirror so you can easily get ready for a night on the town in the comfort of your room. The 2nd bedroom is set up with two twin beds with dresser storage under each bed. There are 2 bathrooms - one on each floor.
Downstairs is where family and friends can prepare and enjoy meals together, watch movies on the flat-screen, play games in the family room. Or go out the back door to your private backyard equipped with a BBQ and picnic table. Or enjoy some time in the private hot tub!
A short block away you'll find several places to eat, a grocery store, and a coffee shop. In the winter you can catch a free ski shuttle - in the summer a beach shuttle.
The Al Tahoe Resort - It’s the perfect place to stay and create cherished memories with family and friends.

Perfect Accomodations in a Perfect Location
Perfect Accomodations in a Perfect Location
Al Tahoe was EXACTLY what we (3 male skiers) were looking for in a 1-week ski vacation in March. - Clean / Well maintained / Basic supplies - Well priced - 5 Minute Drive to Tahoe Ski Resort (California) - 6 Minute drive to Casinos (Nevada) - The owner readily communicated with me regarding recommendations in the area to make best uses of our time in the area - Hot-tub was a great plus at the end of ski day I would recommend Al Tahoe to anyone looking for a no-frills/well priced accommodation in a perfect location for skiing Lake Tahoe, and using it as home-base for surrounding areas. If you decide to stay at this place, you may find that you will need to buy/bring some basic supplies: i.e. salt/pepper/sugar/garbage bags/detergent/dish-soap etc. As I mentioned, "no-frills," so don't expect to find board-games, DVD's, books in the closet. If you find that you do need something, you can find it at the local supermarket(s). Overall, a Perfect stay.

I can highly recommend this place - it is spacious, very well maintained and offers all the comfort needed for a relaxing weekend (or week) up in Tahoe. Although the hot tub is in a fenced backyard which does not offer the same views as other vrbo rental hot tubs in tahoe, it is yet private and is just a perfect way to end a day on the slopes. Looking forward to return to Al Tahoe Resort "The Mountain" Townhouse.

We loved the quiet setting of "The Mountain" townhouse. The place was very clean. Restaurants were in walking distance as well as a meadow with a beach on it. If you like skiing or gaming, it's all withing easy distance.

We were VERY pleased with the size and functionality of this rental. It was very well decorated and all needs were met very comfortably. My only suggestion would be that if it is rented in the summer often to justify the extra expense, it would be much more comfortable in the bedrooms to put in ceiling fans, as the air does not flow well and it is much warmer upstairs than downstairs. We have found that ceiling fans really help when trying to conserve electricity and are quite inexpensive. Besides that one suggestion, the place was excellent!

Our stay at the townhome was awesome! It had everything we needed - very clean, nice decor, huge closets, washer/dryer, iron, dishes, extra blankets. The owner thought of everything. Extremely quiet and just a short walk to the lake or to the main road(Ski Run Blvd). The hot tub is a nice perk:-) This place would be great in summer or winter as there is lots of room for your ski gear. I will definitely be staying here again!

Excellent beach area which includes a fantastic green space and playground for the kids. A very popular spot for getting married.
