Sea Lavender is located on Elbow Cay, two miles south of the quaint village of Hope Town. The house and fresh water pool overlook the Atlantic ocean and a sandy beach on an acre of private grounds. The open living, dining and kitchen areas all enjoy views of the pool and ocean. The kitchen is a cook's delight with fine equipment, two ice makers, and island seating for four.
The living room has a daybed which can be used to sleep a fifth person. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed overlooking the water and a large bath with tub. The second bedroom overlooks the grounds and has a double bed and a small bath with shower.
Sea Lavender is near the Abaco Inn for fine dining and entertainment. There is a public dock a five minute walk from the house for those who choose to rent a boat. There is a grocery store around the corner and a liquor store nearby. Vacationers can enjoy exploring the island on a golf cart, which can be rented on the island.
Hope Town is a lovely village with colorful old homes with picket fences, several restaurants and bars, shops and a lovely harbor with its famous candy striped lighthouse. Elbow Cay provides vacationers with opportunities for the very active or those wishing to relax by the pool and stroll the beaches. |
