You can book a daily whale cruise; watch the local fishermen come in with their daily catch (lobster and crab) or simply take in the beauty and tranquility of the ocean breeze.
Le Portage Golf course is two minutes away; Cape Breton Highlands National Park is five minutes away (offers 28 hiking trails; spectacular view of wilderness...Moose, Deer, Bears, Eagles) La plage St Pierre beach is 10 minutes away (Sandy Beach); the ocean is always near you with numerous places to swim and snorkel.
Cheticamp has a newly renovated and well lit sidewalk and boardwalk where you will find museums; shops; local artist and great restaurants. Relax as you take in the awesome sunset and ocean breeze and snap that million dollar picture.
Our cottage has been completely gutted and redone. The loft was built to give the cottage an open concept. There is a double bed up in the loft as well as a sofa bed on the ground floor. A nice clean place with all the things you need for a relaxing vacation.
