This cozy, newly renovated apartment lies in the heart of Prague just meters from the National Museum and a short walk to the main historic sightseeing points. Spacious and tasteful furnishings make this an ideal apartment for a couple or group of 4 with a maximum possibility to accommodate 6 people. The master bedroom faces onto a tree filled courtyard ensuring a quiet and tranquil sleep. The large bedroom includes, in addition to a king size double bed, a fold out couch for 2 people. The separate living room (another fold out courch) and kitchen has a lot of light and the west facing windows offer stunning views to the Museum, which is beautifully lit up at night. In both living room and bedroom there are amazing original pieces of antique furniture which in combination with modern art and other furnishings make a great blend of romantic history and contemporary Prague.
The apartment boasts all necessary amenities including fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, stove with oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine, massage shower, satellite flat screen TV, radio / CD mini system, DVD player and high-speed internet.
The spectacular turn-of-the century building has been recently renovated with new elevator, original features and modern security entrance with surveillance cameras.
The area itself is popular with visitors as it’s easily accessible to all major landmarks by foot (1 minutes to Wenceslas square and 6 minutes to the famous Astronomical clock at Old Town square). Public transportation links are superb with easy access to the airport (45 minutes), train (5 minutes by foot to the Main train station) and both metro (Muzeum stop, line A/C, is 1 min. away) and trams.
There are many good restaurants, bars, clubs and parks in the area, which is considered to be one of the safest districts in Prague.

Hi Petra Sue & I would like to thank you for letting us stay in your apartment. We enjoyed our holiday in Prague very much and both thought that the apartment was really charaterful - high ceilings with a miz of period & modern furniture.... and comfortable! Just a stone's throw from the National Museum & State Opera, a short walk via Wenceslas Square to the Old Town and with a grocery store just around the corner, it's conveniently located too. Thanks also to Vladimir for providing transport to and from the airport.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The apartment was a little gem and a haven to retreat to in the heart of Prague! It was very close to Wenceslas Square, and a short walk to Old Town Square, Republic Square, and Charles Bridge! This was one of the most spacious apartments we had seen in Europe, with a very large and generously sized bedroom, living room and bathroom. Even the ceilings were quite high, giving the illusion it was even larger than it was! It also had one of the best showers we had experienced in Europe. It not only had great water pressure - similar to that of North America which is a rarity in Europe where water pressure is normally quite weak in the shower- but an ample amount of hot water - again, another luxury while in Europe. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals in including pots, pans, dishes, cooking oil, etc, and the cleaning supplies required including dish detergent and dishwasher tabs. The washroom had plenty of towels, paper towels and hand soap. There are two grocery stores nearby, a Tesco's and an Alberts, both no more than 2 or 3 blocks away. My only complaints would be that the elevator isn't that useful as it only stops a floor above or below the apartment, so you always have to do one flight of stairs, so we wound up using the stairs most of the time. As well, the manager needs to do a better job of showing you the apartment when you arrive. It was quite cold and since radiators aren't common in North America, it would have been helpful to been shown how to turn them up or down, since adjusting the thermostat doesn't do much unless the radiators are actually turned up. He also didn't explain that to get to Wenceslas Square, you have to go into the park across the street, go down a flight of stairs, go through an underground tunnel, and go up the other side as there is no other way to cross the freeway that divides the building from it and the Square. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this unit to others visiting Prague as it's a very good price for what you get, it's very comfortable and in a very convenient location.Did you find this review helpful? This was a great choice and a wonderful location for everything we wanted to do. We stayed 5 nights, so we were able to learn a bit about the city and explore in several directions. We are big walkers. Everything in the center was walkable, and crossing the river easily tram-able. The apartment is located in an older historic building (with elevator) on the back edge of the national museum, and our large windows looked out on the city and the illuminated museum every day. Although bordered by a busy boulevard, the apartment was very quiet, and quite roomy for three. (Though the fold-out bed in the bedroom is more comfortable than the one in the living room). We needed the size because we spread out. A 15 minute walk to the center, and a few minutes further to all the sites. The hosts, both Lucie directly and her concierge, Petra, and manager Vladimer, were very accommodating, Extra this or that when we needed it, directions, banking, and helpful in arranging transportation (at bargain prices). We'd stay here again and highly recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I would say that this apartment description was very accurate. Great view. Good location to access the town, yet away from the main busy areas. What isn't covered here is how helpful the people are in leading up to your stay. Very fast response times to email. Great English. Really useful when you have a bunch of other things to worry about. Great restaurant two right turns from the front door. Tesco Express close for groceries. There is a good pull out bed in the living room. The street out of the front can be quite noisy from early, so I suggest a max of 3 to stay here if you are light sleepers.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The apartment was beautiful, with a picturesque view of the museum. It was clean, spacious, with high ceilings, an open feeling, and comfortably decorated - exactly as described. It is a short walk from Wenceslas Square and the National Museum as well as all the Metro stations there. It is a bit farther from Old Town, Charles Bridge, and a long walk from the castle. The only drawback to the apartment is walking back to it: there is an easy "shortcut" to avoid crossing a number of busy streets, but it goes through a slightly hidden park and underpass/tunnel, which can be a bit intimidating in the dark, although seemed safe. We appreciated some of the little things a great deal: maps left in the apartment, an umbrella, the ability to do laundry, the close proximity to a grocery store The owners were wonderful to work with - honest and helpful, quick to answer questions. Great experience!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

I am so very late with my review and i do apologize! We had the pleasure of staying here last April and we were very pleased. This apartment is spacious and elegant and offered a spectacular view. Only about a 15 min walk to the heart of the square downtown. There was a wonderful restaurant right around the corner as well, which was great the first night. Lucie was a pleasure to work with, as well as the apartment manager! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We were met at the airport on time and were driven to the apartment by a bilingual and informative gentlemen. This place was fabulous .Everthing that was stated in the descrption was accurate Extreamly convenient to transportation and museums, theatre and restaurants. Wonderful views, peaceful and quiet at night. The bathing facilities were top notch and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook a meal with. We loved this place and couldn't say enought wonderful things about our experience. Hope to stay there again in the future. Very nice, clean apartment. The desciption is almost accurate: The bedroom has one double bed and one fold-out-bed for 2. The livingroom has one fold-out couch for 2. Not suitable for more than 4 persons altogether. Very helpful owner. I would recommend this apartment to friends and relatives, and I would gladly come again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

My parents came to visit me in Prague and I have to say this is the happiest I have seen them after their stay. Petra the booking agent was fast and thorough in her responses. The apartment is beautifully decorated and looked exactly like the pictures. They particularly wanted me to mention Dragan the apartment manager as he was on time with airport pickup and full of useful information as he drove them to the apartment. The location is superb as it's easy to get to most of the attractions by foot, no hassle with metro or trams. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone coming to Prague!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
