  The home was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of space for all 11 of us. We were never bored and we ranged in age from >1-69 years old! We loved the pool area and ate outside everyday except the one day it rained. The house had everything we needed. Fishing off the canal was a big hit. We also enjoyed feeding the turtles and alligator. The owners were great to work with and really made us feel at home away from home! We have rented before and this was by far our best experience! We are already looking at dates for next year! We loved everything about the house and have no complaints. It was everything we hoped for and more!

  This home is amazing and beautiful! The photos definitely don't show the beauty of the home. There were 10 of us in age ranging from my 75 year old mother to my 7 and 10 year old great nephew and niece and they all were able to have their own space.The accommodations were perfect for our group. The master bedroom layout is ideal as it is away from all of the other bedrooms and allowed us privacy. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in and they have everything you need to cook a meal when you don't want to go out for dinner. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool when we came home from the beaches each day. As far as the beaches go, the home is approximately an hour away from Sanibel and Ft. Myers beaches. Peter and Sherri have provided everything you need for a day at the beach including an extremely handy beach cart, coolers, chairs and an umbrella. We recommend Bowman's Beach on Sanibel Island as it is wonderful for families. We spent one day at Captiva Island on Captiva Beach (the last beach on the island) and it was a beautiful drive and lovely beach. The next day we tried to go back and there wasn't parking available, so we ended up at Blind Pass (Turner Beach) which was awful. The tide was bad and the water was yucky. The younger group preferred Ft. Myers Beach as it was much more commercialized and busy with tourism. My niece and brother parasailed and they loved it as they saw dolphins. I believe it cost them $75 each, but they said it was worth it. We all went on an evening dolphin cruise and it was a nice evening even though we only saw dolphins from afar on our way back in. Peter and Sherri were very accomodating as unfortunately we set off the home alarms twice! The police came both times as I unfortunately didn't have the right code to disarm it. Where we live, we don't have alarms, so it was a new experience to deal with. Sherri was extremely kind and understanding about the whole incident as I was very distraught about it. We all appreciate the opportunity to enjoy Florida with such an outstanding home! You won't regret renting this home.

  My family spent 8 days at this lovely villa. It was spacious and exactly as shown in the pictures. The kids enjoyed the pool and the canoe rides in the canal. The adults enjoyed early mornings and evenings on the deck. The four children ranging in ages from 4 to 12 enjoyed the pool morning, noon and night. While the home is not centrally located we enjoyed coming home to the peace and quiet of the home. Our family visited Sanibel Island, Fort Meyers Beach and Pine Island as well as a trip to Legoland. Peter and Sherri were extremely helpful and made the process of renting this home very easy. The kids and adults were sad to leave this amazing home. My kids even said that this was the best vacation ever. You will not be disappointed if you rent this home.

  We found this home to be wonderful for our family! This home contains everything you need and more! We used the pool and found time to relax and use the canal. I would recommend this home to everyone! You have a lovely home and thank you !

  We rented this home for our 3 families who were visitng the area for the first time for my nephews wedding. From the moment we stepped inside the villa we were in awe.It is beautiful,clean and very spacious. It had the ammenities of home,with the added luxery of a vacation. Our group included my senior parents who loved the privacy of the huge master suite. The children ages 10-13 enjoyed the pool and fishing canal for hours every day,while the adults enjoyed lounging on the spacious patio. We were close enough to town for shopping, but the home was out of town enough that we felt secluded and very private, which we really enjoyed. The owners were so helpful in answering all our questions,even during our stay. This was our first rental through VRBO and I was so pleased. This was a home I would be thrilled to return to. If you are thinking of renting this home, I can assure you that your stay here will be great. You can't go wrong with this wonderful Florida villa. Thanks Peter and Sherri for allowing us to stay in your magnificent home !!!

  The house is absolutely amazing. The pictures are beautiful, but really don't compare when you see the house in person. It's beautifully decorated and the beds are fantastic. My family spent the week of July 9th-16th. The whole process of renting the house was extremely easy. Peter answered any questions, and was very helpful. We had a very nice vacation. We went to Sanibel Island. It's the perfect place to find seashells. We also found sand dollars, tons of hermit crabs and a starfish. There weren't any waves there, so it would be perfect for smaller children. We also, saw dolphins jumping about 100 yards away. We took a trip to Ft. Meyers so the teenagers could go parasailing. They loved it. There are plenty of outlet malls nearby. We went to one and stayed ALL day. There were all kinds of shops. It was always nice to go back to the house each night. The pool was used EVERY day. Peter, I just want to tell you that we had a wonderful vacation and your house is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us! I would go again in a heartbeat! Linda

  From the beginning the owner, Peter was very easy and friendly to work with. The home itself was amazing!! It is very big and spacious with top of the line everything in the house. It was very well equipped with anything you needed. They even provided several over sized beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler etc for us to take to the beach. The pool was built with little kids in mind. There are two very large steps one in the middle and one on the end. It was perfect for my four year old who cannot swim and is somewhat scared of the water. Almost the entire pool was available for him to play in. The location of the home is perfect you do not have any neighbors on etheir side and to the rear is a canal. It is very private and we preferred it that way. Overall we were extremely pleased with the home, it was beautifully decorated. The pictures posted does not do the house justice, it is truly exquisite. The only negatives I would mention is that all of the beaches are further then what I had expected. It is about one hour to both Ft. Myers and Sanibel Island and farther for any other beaches you wish to visit but we were not there to spend everyday at the beach. We planned to enjoy our time with our family in the home and was able to do just that. All other shops, stores and restaurants are within 10-15 minutes away. You will love this house when you walk in, everything was prisitne clean and looked brand new. All bedding was spotless and very comfortable. Also my husband and I loved that the master bedroom was on the opposite side of the house from all of the other rooms. It was huge with a huge bathroom and led to the outdoor patio/pool. The tv's in the guest bedrooms was a nice touch for helping the kids wind down at bedtime. You will not go wrong with this home!!!
